I drove miles to get this as everywhere was out of stock Jan 2020. Really wanted it after reading all the 4-5* reviews, it was the best value with good features amongst all the cordless irons I researched. Safety off, variable temp, well-shaped sole plate for shirts (pointy end very good for cuffs and buttons). It heats up fast, and as long as you put it back on the base when you adjust the shirt position it is as good as a corded iron but without the hassle of the cord rumpling up the fabric you just ironed, or getting stuck round the ironing board. Iron also seems interchangeable with kettle base although that’s not what you’re supposed to be doing.

I have to admit I was sceptical when I first got this cordless Iron. But after using it a number of times I came to thinking that my Ironing wasn't as daunting as I always felt in the past.This easy charge 360° Cordless Steam Iron has some great features, it's really light and has clear feature markings, I like the auto shut off if I'm called away from my Ironing for more than 7 minutes the auto shut off kicks in and turns the Iron off for safety and save energy. Just pick up the Iron from the base and replace it again and wait a moment for the green light .( This doesn't turn it off completely, you have to unplug it for that)I also like the vertical steam,I use this on my Satin curtains that crease.

I bought this iron a couple of weeks ago and I think it's fantastic. It really does do what it claims to do. Well done Morphy Richards. At first I was a bit clumsy with it because I wasn't used to just lifting the iron off without having to lift it up and over because of the usual cord etc. The only slight criticism is that I think the base could have been a bit sturdier but the iron is so light that it doesn't bother me. Once I got used to it I couldn't believe how easy and light the iron was. My arms don't ache any more and ironing is a breeze. Because the water in my area is hard I fill mine from my water filter jug so hopefully I'm doing the right thing.

Bought this about 3 weeks ago as so fed up with the cable from my iron holding me back & getting stuck in the ironing board. This iron is amazing, it has the power to do without the cable. Just rest it on the charger instead of putting it down on the board when you adjust your garment to iron. I only have one issue-instructions say don’t use scented iron water-which in my view is what most supermarkets stock, mine certainly do and being house bound rely on their delivery service. I therefore have to ask friends to see if they can find non scented water-it is a hassle for me! But putting that aside I am really pleased with the performance and would recommend this iron.

Having broken my old iron after catching my foot in the dangling cable, I wanted a cordless iron. The MorphyRichards iron requires the owner to make a slight adjustment to the way an iron is used, making sure it is returned to its stand every time instead of being put at the end of the ironing board. This is not difficult, but means breaking an old habit. The light weight iron performs perfectly when used correctly, with the ceramic plate gliding over the fabric, and no cable to trip over. Because it is lighter in weight, it does not cause any discomfort when ironing a complete wash load. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

If your fed up with twisted cords and balancing your iron precariously on the ironing board then this is for you. So much more flexibility and the iron can be kept on any solid surface near to where you are ironing. I previously had a top of the range corded iron with ceramic sole plate which worked well, this iron performs as well as that one if not better as it doesn't seem to drip like the other. I was initially worried that it wouldn't maintain temperature but this hasn't been the case. Great for blokes that get in a tangle with the cords and knock the iron off the ironing board (i am one of those). Terrific piece of equipment.

I decided to try one of these cordless irons, mainly because over the years with standard cable one’s. over time the cable frayed exposing live wires, kept catching on the ironing board, & even getting caught up in it sometimes!!Anyway wow was I impressed with this & I was so pleased I purchased one. It heats up very quickly & irons just as good as any tradition one!! It’s well built, easy to understand functions, sturdy & a great name you can rely on. Not only that, think of the electric you will save over the year!! Hopefully you won’t be disappointed so try one!!

I was skeptical at buying this iron as it is cordless as I was worried it wouldn't retain the heat but it does. Place it back on its stand while you are moving your item on the board, and the green light indicates when it has reached the required temperature, and it doesn't take long at all, even when you have it on the highest setting. It's great ironing without the cable getting in the way. Steam function is great and the water spray is good too. Would definitely recommend this iron.

This iron is much better than I expected it works better than my old steam generator which wasn't cheap then end result is crisper creases in trousers and even remains relatively crease free after storing the items in drawers it's quicker to reheat than you would expect and is often ready to go again after you reposition your items on the ironing board and the end results are very satisfying which is a word I have never associated with ironing before.would wholly recommend this iron

Good weight. Good sized water chamber so not constantly filling it up. Good shape on the soleplate so easy to get between buttons shirts and the like. Good steam function. Nice iron all round. Only thing to note is it's just cordless so can't be used as corded (our last two irons were corded/cordless). This means the iron can't lock on to the base, it just sits on it, so carrying to and from the cupboard you keep it in takes both hands. Easy to use though. So far very pleased.

I was a bit concerned when I read previous reviews that said the iron was very heavy. Surprised when I unpacked it how light it was. It does have large water capacity when full is a bit heavy, but I found by half filling the tank was just fine. Water lasted well.So much better than my previous iron with the tangled cord. Also steam lasted much longer without refilling.I am very happy with this product. Looks good considering it is an iron. Easy to pack away.

However, it is a joy to use. I used to let my Ironing pile up and procrastinate until I had too much ironing to do. However, since I bought this cordless iron I cannot wait to have something to iron. I was ironing last night and I will be ironing while watching the TV tonight. It's really good, and there are no tangled up cords to get in your way. You have to put it down on the charging unit every now and then but it works like a dream.

If you are mad busy and lead a chaotic life where ironing isn’t done quickly and you like to rattle through it, then this is not for you. Each time you need to pop it on the base to re charge you either need to do it rather frequently so it recharges in the minimum time or you have to wait abit. So I found it takes way longer to complete something I used to rattle through. I had the Phoenix gold corded and wish I’d stuck to another .

My husband bought this for me as it's a family joke that ironing is my hobby.I was very sceptical but having no flex really does make moving round the ironing board much easier, quicker and safer. Only minus is the short wait to reheat every minute or so.It's light, easy to see the water level and no flex to tangle round the underneath notches, I really love it! I was mistaken for thinking it was a rechargeable iron for a totally wireless Experience but it’s not far from it, you do have to be near the pad to place it on between short intervals where it’ll charge enough power and heat the water for use, heats up in around 30 seconds, and between intervals it can be from 5 sec to immediately, easy to use and handle, lightweight and controls are easy to understand.
