I genuinely love this vacuum, and that is not a phrase I ever thought I would utter. I am one of those average people that enjoys a clean house but REALLY resents the time and faff involved in maintaining it and therefore it often gets shifted down the list of priorities in life. This little baby however gets rid of all the things I hate about traditional vacuums - it's light, manouverable, and completely faff-free to use as you can grab it straight off the charging dock and go without being restrained or tangled by power cables. This means that rather than leaving the vacuuming for a few weeks and then having to have a major binge effort to get things looking good again,I find myself literally grabbing it to do a 30 second job whenever something gets dropped, so the house just stays looking consistently clean. The fact it takes literally 2 seconds to switch between the upright mode and the handheld means you can just change on the fly as you go and stairs and dusting are now super-easy. It has the normal crevise tool and dusting brush supplied too. Yes, it's probably not as powerful as a corded cleaner or, dare I say it, the Dyson; but then a corded cleaner is a pain because it has to be untangled, plugged in, and I trip over the cable etc, and the Dyson ... well, it costs 3 times as much, and I can't seriously imagine it's 3 times as good. The battery has so far lasted a good 30 - 40 mins on a carpet based clean, and I literally get a full canister of muck off the floor everytime I whip round the house, so it's obviously picking up a frightening amount of stuff (and I now realise my house must be a lot dustier than I think!). It also made short work of my car, and for me at least, the light on the front of the upright unit is brilliant for being able to see what I'm doing under tables or in all the dark corners of my Victorian house.All-in-all, this and a spray mop from Lakeland have revolutionised my life with pick-up-and-go cleaning. It's a great product for the price and I would thoroughly recommend it.

I spent ages deciding which cordless vac to buy. I ruled out any Dyson on price and also because the weight it is all in your hand rather than on the floor. I attended a well known electrical store to road test the other options. My main priority was to get one which could convert to handheld. The Bosch athlet did a phenomenal job as a cleaner but the palaver involved in converting it to handheld was ridiculous. The Bosch was heavy as an upright but in handheld mode was cumbersome, unwieldy and far too heavy. I would never have used it. I thought I'd like the AEG ergorapido and tried the 18v model. I don't know if it was just a dodgy vac but it was useless, didn't pick up anything.Typically the super vac was out of charge so I couldn't try it but I liked the weight, ease of conversion, the nature of the onboard tools and the fact there was a proper storage space for them unlike the others. I went home, read some reviews and plumped for the 24v version.I love it. Surprisingly efficient. I live in old house with a mixture of flat rugs, carpet, piled rugs and uneven stone floors. It's really good on the flat carpet and rugs. It's good on the uneven stone floors and I imagine it would be fantastic on an even wood floor. What really surprised me was the long rug. It was harder to manoeuvre on this but it picked up loads. I have two cats, embarrassed at the amount of hair it got up. I have a Hetty vac. I love it but it will be redundant for usual spruce ups now.I assumed the front lights on the super vac were a gimmick but they're actually incredibly useful. Like everyone else has has said the dust receptacle is tiny but if you find it that much effort to deal with then perhaps hiring a cleaner is the way forward for you. As a point, others have mentioned a loss of power in handheld mode. I haven't.I'm really glad I bought this but I got a very good deal on it. If handheld availability is important to you then this is a great option and the best I found.

After alot of research i decided on this model. I was particularly looking at the power of this vacuum as it has a 24 volt battery and compares to the dyson cordless vacuums in this area.In usage it is excellent on hard floors and has a rotating brush to pick up fluff from carpets. I only have flat carpets so can't comment on how it would cope with thick carpets. It is very light( I have a back problem and i can use this where i cant use a convensional vacuum.)The small detachable vacuum is excellent on stairs and comes with a crevice tool and furniture/curtain brush.I have a 4 bedroom house and this copes with the whole house in 1 charge ( takes me about 30 minutes). In fact i haven't had it lose power at any time. The stand it comes with is very compact and you can fold down the vacuum to fit in a under sink cupboard. The only slight negative which affects all vacuums of this type is the small dust/debris capacity. In usage it lasts about 5 mins of usage before you have to empty it. This sounds convoluted, but you only have to press a button the release the dust collector, take out the filter and empty the dust. Takes 5 seconds. You will however need to defluff the filter after a good clean but this only takes a minute. In conclusion i would highly recommended this product. This is my first item ive felt compelled to write feedback about im so pleased with it. My mother has a dyson V6 animal but i prefer this at less than half the price. Good hoovering!!

This machine really is amazing! Don't get me wrong here- I have a great life, lots of friends and hobbies but I've got to review this vacuum!I ordered it on sale £76.99 it arrived the next day and was out of the box and assembled in 5 minutes. Fully charged in about 2 hours.I have 1 dog, 2 cats, a husband and 3 storeys. Mess and fur are a constant and ever present problem, my handheld Dyson has been an epic let down- cutting out, not picking up and generally being a disappointment. I am now officially a sad individual- I actually had fun using my new Morphy Richards Supervac! I'm not sponsored to say this either (sadly) it was like Scalextrics with suction!I whizzed round 3 floors marvelling at its manoeuvrability and lightness. I can easily lift it with one had and trot up and down stairs with it. I even vacuuming in a dark room just because it has a headlight ! just to clarify I am a fully grown up woman and have other vacuums- a Henry for hard floors and a dyson animal for carpet but this little wonder will be getting a daily outing. I did have to empty the dust canister after a 20 min whip round. That's probably says more about my lack of cleaning than anything else but it was packed with dust and fur. So yes, buy this vac with confidence and enjoy!

We had the old 12V predecessor to this model, which was getting a bit long in the tooth and not keeping its charge anymore. This new model is a lot more powerful, and holds its charge better than the old one had, even when it was new.The charge station itself is also a nice new feature, with trickle charge and handy storage for the two attachments. I specifically wanted exactly the same setup (small vacuum that clips into a handle with a powered head) because it's the most handy configuration for our kitchen.Another improvement over the old one is that it's so much easier to dismantle the power head to remove hair from around the roller brush. We have a different vacuum specially just for the stairs, which is why I gave the Morphy Richards such a low rating for stairs. Also, it's not that great on thick-pile carpets, but ace on hard floors and okay on woven carpets. The nozzle that comes with it makes it great for the car too - especially that bit between the seat and the door where you always have sand and leaves that you can't get out - well this nozzle is slender enough to fit in there and clean it nicely. For the seat wells and boot I use the power head. Please note my star ratings are in relation to battery-powered vacuum cleaners.

Having had a cordless vacuum before and the battery going after a couple of years, I decided to invest in a replacement. Taking my time to read reviews on various devices, I plumped for this one. It's no trouble to whip it our of the cupboard and wiz round both carpet and hard floors. I like the manouverability and freedom from cables these vacuums give you, I was forever tripping over cables and dragging the plug in type. Whilst saying that, yes it has a decent suction, it struggles a bit with cat hairs, it is not a replacement for the `proper` vacuum which is used once a week, but it tidies the place up daily which is what it was bought for. The handle is comfortable to hold, its light,it twists round chair legs easily and up to know I can't fault it. Yes, you have to empty it after each use which is easy enough but that just goes to show how much it picks up. As a hand held vacuum, it's a little heavy for me but that's only because I have bad wrists, my husband doesn't have a problem and the accessories are adequate. Yes I would recommend and will replace with the same as and when this one gives up, for the price, why wouldn't I?

This vacuum will change your hoovering habits and will transform your life (well, kinda!).I use this to vacuum a large house that has mixed carpets and hard floors but crucially, we have 4 dogs. This vacuum can do the whole house before the battery dies - simples.Like the debate of Mac vs PC, this vacuum is not as powerful as normal vacuums but like a Mac, it uses its power differently to be better. The secret is the brush which amazing beats my corded Vax pet vacuum at picking up dusty rubbish. It flicks crap up so quickly that only a gentle suction is needed. The dust container is small but as you are encouraged to empty and wash this bit often, it is a blessing in disguise as the you prolong the life of the vacuum. As there are no cords you find yourself quickly vacuuming a dusty spot which in turn means your home stays far cleaner for much longer. The vacuum comes away from the main unit in one button click - there is an attachment that is just brilliant and powerful. You find yourself vacuuming areas so fast that normally, you'd hate to do.I haven't done this little beast justice but you will not regret the purchase.

I really like the idea and convenience of a cordless vacuum. I did some research into these and found that one with all the features i wanted where coming in about £300 (G-tech).Features i wanted;-Roller brush on the end ( My hair malts a lot!),-removable handheld piece for dusting around the TV and sofa etc.-completely cordless, good power/suction.I can safely say this does all of the above with a very reasonable price tag. It's actually got much better suction that my corded cylinder vacuum which is evident in all the dust it has vacuumed up the first few times i used it. I am so impressed with it!I do need to cut out the hair from the roller brush from time to time - but i expected this andit's a good sign that it's picking it up properly in the first place.I now vacuum for a few minutes every other day and my flat has never looks so clean. It does carpets and wooden/titled floors equally well and the light on the end lets you see dust on the floor that you wouldn't normally see.Its made cleaning so much more efficient and easier! I 100% recommend it!

This vacuum cleaner is great, I got it after recommendation from my stepmom and sisters, who all have one.Upsides: well made, easy to assemble, useful attachments, not too heavy, has a long enough battery life to vacuum a whole apartment, seems to suck up both carpets and floors equally well, it's easy to dispose of the waste, and BEST OF ALL - there is a light on the head when you vacuum! This is fantastic if your eyesight is not the best, or if you have lighting/decor that makes it hard to see dust. You can just see the dust with this, it's awesome.Downsides: You can't really use it to vacuum UNDER furniture, unless the gap is large enough. The head pivots nicely, but if you need to get in somewhere deep, the "body" of the cleaner becomes an obstruction. But then again, it depends what you want it for. If you have a big house and just need this for quick jobs in the middle of rooms, it's excellent. If you need something for vacuuming under furniture, you might want the "dragging behind you type of vacuum cleaner with the extendable hose."

Wow, I love this hoover, it is so much easier to use than a conventional hoover, its light and slimline and very manouverable the head rotates easily for going under chairs and tables and the lights on the front are really useful because you can see in dark corners under the sofa etc....It actually makes hoovering much more of a pleasure than a chore, the charging stand is small and can fit anywhere, it dosen't take too long to charge and is quite powerful, we have laminate floors and lino and it is perfect on these and only takes ten minutes to hoover the whole downstairs and also now my daughter hoovers her own bedroom (so it deals with carpets really well too). The dust compartment isn'tvery big so you need to empty it pretty much every time you use it but its so easy to do as you just push a button and it releases that part to easily empty into a bin with no mess and you don't have to buy bags for it!! made my life a lot easier as we have a dog and a cat and can now wizz round every day quickly and easily to keep the house clean.

As a now retired caretaker I have used a lot of different Vac', good, bad and middlin'. Some very expensive machines look very good but fall apart in 6 months, so I don't tend to have high expectations until proved otherwise. This vac in my opinion will not replace a good full sized mains driven machine to do a PROPER clean top to bottom of say an average 3 bedroomed semi. For one thing you would be emptying it a few times. However what it will do and does do extremely well is one of those quick cleans up and down stairs and when something has been spilled or dogs are shedding and have rolled on the rug! Also very good for cleaning a caravan. I could also imagine it would be very good for maybe a person who for what ever reason is frail, lives in a small home, where the light weight cordless quality would be a boon. Its well made, reliable, hasn't fallen apart(!), works efficiently, is compact, easy and pleasant to use, good value, and for what it is I can't fault it. Recommended

Excellent cordless vacuum. I whiz round the whole house with this and hardly use the old vacuum cleaner now. I only use on hard polished floors however and seems to pick up all the dust and dirt. The light integrated to the front is also a great bonus for seeing the dust lurking in dark corners or under beds. The price was also fantastic and mmore than a third of what the market lwsding ones cost. This is the 2nd cordless floor cleaner I bought and compares favourably with the much more expensive leading brands on the market presently. The only diwnside was that the small grey filter within the larges filter came apart in my hands the first time I tried toempty the filter, but on complaining to Morphy Richards about it they quickly despatched a brand new filter to me free of charge. So no complaints about customer service from me. I recommended this to all my family.

I'm not a vacuum enthusiast and I may still be in the novelty stage of using this product but I love it! This is my first cordless vacuum and after researching other brands I decided on Morphy Richards. I'm happy I did! This is more powerful than any I've used in the past and although it won't compare to a Dyson V6, it's great for just an average household. The removable handheld is also brilliant and picks up almost everything. Some reviews mentioned that it struggles to pick up dirt on carpets but I didn't have this problem. The only downside I found was that the lights at the front seem to be a bit gimmicky and serve no real purpose other than using precious battery power. Also,it does need to be emptied after every use as the container fills up quickly, but for me it just means it's doing its job.Great product - never going back to a corded vacuum.

Best vacuum cleaner I've ever had. It's light and easy to manoeuvre and swivels around furniture with ease. The lack of cord makes the job so much handier and vacuuming the stairs is no longer the bane of my life - the time I spent having to unplug the cord when halfway done and plug it in again upstairs for it to reach...!It charges quickly and the charging station is discreet and small. The vacuum folds up to a tiny size too.The suction is really good and the light on the head lights up all the dirt - nearly too well - I found myself cleaning corners much more thoroughly than normal! The handheld vacuum is quick and easy to unclick and use.The dirt collector is small but so easy to empty thatit can be done within a minute.I have a Labrador who sheds a lot and the vacuum dealt easily with all her hair.I'm recommending it to everyone!

I thought the Supervac would act as an accompaniment to my current upright vacuum cleaner - how wrong I was. The Supervac is now my main vacuum cleaner. As a test I vacuumed an area of carpet with my upright and then went over the same area with the Supervac. I couldn't believe how much the Supervac collected. Its light weight belies just how powerful it is and it is so manoeuvrable that those hard to reach places are now accessible and visibility is aided by the lights on the front. The detachable hand held vacuum makes light work of the stairs particularly when combined with the crevice tool supplied. Charging time is not excessive and the space saving design is pleasing to the eye.I wouldn't say that vacuuming is now a pleasure but it is certainly less of a chore. Well done Morphy Ricards.
