This is the best iron I've ever had because it blasts through creases like nothing I've ever seen. Even the crispy, perma-fold creases round the edges of tea towels get erased by this iron. It uses a lot of steam and I've read reviews of people saying that the water reservoir gets used up too quickly. But mine lasts the duration of one washload of ironing, and then if I have more, it takes seconds to fill up the reservoir. Also some people are saying it's hard to avoid triggering the steam blaster by mistake, and I can understand how that might happen if you hold it by wrapping your pointer finger right round the handle. My fingers are fairly short so my pointer finger rests on the outside of the handle and the others wrap round,

My old Tefal iron was getting very tired and I wanted a similar iron with the same features as my current one. This iron has a slightly shorter cord than my old one but is still fine for where I plug it in. The durilium plate makes the ironing very easy and the thinness of it makes ironing around buttons etc very straightforward. It does use the water quite quickly but it produces a good amount of steam while ironing so not surprising really. I would rather do the ironing quickly with plenty of steam to get the creases out without too much effort, than worry about having to refill the tank often. I haven't had to clean the filter yet as it's still fairly new but it wasn't hard to remove the filter to check how it worked.

What a brilliant iron. I wouldn't say it was light weight but it's just right for me. You need a bit of weight to an iron to remove creases and for it to do the job. Water tank is great size and can get a lot done without having to keep filling up. It glides so easily and wow the steam packs a punch. I can now get through piles of ironing in no time at all. Very happy with this and at this price it's a bargin!!

seems ok at the moment only used it couple of times. Gets very hot which is great as haven't had to use the extra turbo steam button yet, it gets all creases out without marking clothes no water marks or drips from plate. I love the descale part im waiting for it to fill up so I can tell how bad my water is. But all in all I'm liking it

Brought this for my wife as a replacement,she said it's the best Tefal iron she has ever used,it goes through the duvet covers with ease and it is not heavy while using,it has just the right amount of controls and cord length for her,there's nothing negative she can say about it.

I bought this for my other half. She's very happy with it she particularly likes where the steam button is it's not on the top and awkward like other irons it's underneath where it should be where your hand is. A good feature and she reports it glides very comfortably.

Purchased last week. It does the job. Not as heavy as I thought it would be. The only down side is you can't see the water level very well when filling it and there was no little jug for measuring how much you need to put in, otherwise its a decent iron for the price.

The first impressions of this iron are very good - glides well and not as heavy as we had expected. I won't ever think that ironing is a pleasure but this iron goes some way toward improving the experience! Only time will tell if the de-scaling feature works.

This Iron glides beautifully and although the steam capacity could be larger it is ultra efficient and clothes are crease free.The only complaint is the plastic on the handle was rather sharp on the seam as the fitting was very poor.

I've bought this one because my friend, who does professional ironing, has recommended this model to me! No disappointment whatsoever! Very powerful steam which makes ironing much easier and quicker. Well worth of money!

My only criticism is that you can't see the water level inside the iron. Perhaps a small 'sightglass' area of clear plastic rather than all coloured (blue) through which you cannot see the water. Otherwise excellent.

Love this iron. Compared to my old one this is a delight. My only criticism is that seeing the water level on filling and during use is nearly impossible. Manufacturer needs to improve on this.

This iron is fantastic for stubborn creases, if I had to give a negative its that it uses a lot of water but that's because of the steam output , just have a jug of water handy for topping up.

This is a very efficient iron with a lot of steam and a powerful turbo boost. the cord is quite short and the elegant dark blue colour means it is difficult to see the water level

I love tefal irons but if you want them to last as with any other steam iron always use distilled water really does work
