I've been using this machine for a few weeks, making 2-3 pots of coffee a day. In the long distant past, I had a filter coffee machine that would keep the coffee hot, but would "stew" the coffee, leaving it burnt and undrinkable. Trying out the new Evoke machine however, kept the coffee hot and the last cup tasted just as good as the first. The strength dial for me, needed to be set to full as the other settings were too weak for my liking. The function that was really useful was being able to set the timer so preparing it earlier and getting my caffeine fix as quickly as possible when half asleep. The plastic filter is easy to clean (and recycle the grounds!).

I love my fresh coffee, but was tired of making a cafetiere, only for it to be cold by the second cup. This filter coffee machine has transformed my Saturday and Sunday mornings with plenty of hot coffee. The reservoir holds a good litre and a half of water so you get several decent sized mugs of your favourite coffee, and the hotplate keeps it warm so you don't have to microwave or reheat it. One of my favourite features is the basket for the coffee does not require the paper filter cones; voila - hot coffee to get you going in the morning - or any time of day! This coffee maker has a modern style and makes very good coffee. It is very easy to use. The timer function is an excellent addition and to wake up to fresh coffee is an added bonus. I particularly liked that the coffee strength selector could be adjusted to your own preference and that optimum strenght is used when making small amounts of coffee . The permanent filter is also an added bonus and kinder to the environment. The coffee does stay warm for at least thirty minutes and still tastes fresh. As an avid coffee drinker I would highly recommend this coffee maker

Good to see the eco-friendly packaging, no expanded plastic foam in sight! On unpacking the glass jug is the first thing you see, it is really solid and more sturdy than jugs I have used in the past. The machine looks the part and will blend in well with most kitchens and match up with other small appliances. The timer is so easy to use and set so you can wake up to a great cup of coffee in the morning. The strength selector works well. The machine appears to start slowly then speed up thus extracting all the flavour. A definite hit with my wife and I.

I bought this for my husband and he is thrilled with it.It is so easy to use and it makes the best coffee ever. A good thing about it is, it turns itself off after thirty minutes which saves electricity!! Plus its a safe thing to use.So easy to operate and wash and Clean.Highly recommended to anyone we love it.The style is lovely with a proper clock on itIt looks a million dollars, beautiful gadgetThankyou morphy Richards another greatPiece x

I bought this because I wanted to update the one I had. I read the reviews and liked the sound of this one. I think it is very good, and like the other reviews, you would need to put in more coffee. Easy to use, and quite.
