The reviews made me scared I bought a terrible coffee machine that is going to make one plastic tasting cup of coffee after which I'm going to spend an hour cleaning the machine! All Lies! So here is what to expect from this coffee machine:• the grinder is a bit loud as are all grinders! Let's be realistic! It does not make any more noise than any stand alone coffee grinder.• the machine is small, the carafe is small (and extra cute) but that's what is advertised 600ml is about 2 regular coffee mugs which is what it makes or 4 medium coffee cups so if you are someone looking for a machine to make coffee for more than 2-4 people at a time do not expect this one to be it• yes there is a hot plate to keep the coffee warm and it gets very hot.I have no clue how long it keeps it warm for as we usually get through coffee quick in the morning but I would expect at least 30mins• the plastic taste debate! - we were worried but did not taste any plastic. I would say it's very important to follow the cleaning instructions before use and if ur worried repeat them an extra time just to be sure• the ease of cleaning - well it requires cleaning every time you use it but it really is easy! The grinder and filter come in a removable basket that you can take out and wash.Overall it is a very good bean to cup coffee machine, it's simple without any extra gadgets and makes great coffee in a few minutes while I'm getting ready for the day. It gives you the option to use already ground coffee and to coarsely or finely grind beans so there is a few options. Loving this coffee maker it makes good coffee it doesn't take up half of the kitchen counter and it's simple to use.P.S. not all flavour is down to the coffe maker, put cheap flavourless beans in there and it's going to make awful coffee, you take out what you put in people!

I have bought a lot of coffee machines over the last few years, but this is without a doubt my favourite.Plastic taste.A lot of budget coffee machines struggle with a strong plastic taste that is near on impossible to remove. This is because they contain fully enclosed spaces, such as a hose from water tanks to the coffee powder.This coffee machine doesn't struggle from a plastic taste because it has no fully enclosed spaces and all of its components can be easily removed for cleaning.Size.This coffee machine is ideal for homes of one or two people, but would struggle for larger households. It is smaller than a lot of budget bean to cup coffee machines,allowing it to easily fit into a kitchen without becoming an eyesore.Ease of use.As this machine doesn't contain any fully enclosed spaces, it is more manual than some of the budget bean to cup competition machines. The beans and water must be reloaded into the top cassette every time before use and then the filter needs to be cleaned after each use.The biggest flaw of this machine is there is no clear indication when the machine has finished brewing, but this is a mild irritation at best.

I wouldn't claim to be a coffee fanatic, but thought I might use this machine to wean myself off instant mixes! It is small, neat and easy to use, I can't fault the flavour with the Italian roast beans I like. The grinder whizzes away happily and brewing is quick. I did forget to put the water in one day but it seemed to cope OK! There is the slightly messy business of getting rid of the coffee grounds, but I don't see how it could be made any easier. All very satisfying I'd say, nice bit of kit...should have got one years ago....

Pros:Compact & space efficientEasy to cleanGreat value for its priceMakes nice coffee when you use the right beans and settingsCons:Only 2 cups (for us, it is not a problem though)When you pour coffee, it drips everywhereLoud grinder (but it doesn't bother me as it only works for 10-15 seconds)

To start this machine is a great value for the moneyThe coffe comes out tasting great and its easy to use.The only problem is it not as easy as other machines to ckean after each coffe pot as you have to remove the grind from the filters and the base.

This is a great coffee machine I think some people like to be so picky, yes it makes a noise but no louder than a kettle. It brews coffee fast and it stays hot for a hour ish. Highly recommended

Great little coffee maker. Simple and easy to use.Lovely scandi design. Only thing different to my old one was no handle on the filter. But this does not affect its use.Would buy again.

This is a good way of getting started on Bean to coffee machine, if you want good coffee and a way to save money on pods then you can’t go wrong with this machine.

Great machine. Have been using for about 4 months and had to issues. Have used mainly for coffee beans. Only downside is it doesn't make much, about 2 full cups.

I like the coffee it makes, it's just as easy/hard as other machines to clean. Only had it a day, so don't yet know how durable it is. But so far so good.

Fabulous, easy to use machine. Makes either 4 small cups or 2 mugs of coffee. Very easy to use and very easy to clean. Highly recommend.
