Miele appear to me, to have accomplished most if not all domestic vacuuming needs the storage of the accessory attachments is tidy and conveniently accessible these tools are primarily for upholstery and curtain cleaning even long drop curtains this being made possible by the fact that these attachments are designed to fasten to both the rigid metal extendable tube or the flexible tube, the former ideal for curtains which I also find useful for dealing with cobwebs at ceiling height with the brush attachment and the latter just the job for upholstery cleaning the carry handle makes travel with it easy, being a fan of Miele for some considerable time I very much appreciated the new variable suction rate foot control feature.

This arrived in an enormous Amazon brand cardboard box inside which was the branded box containing the vacuum cleaner ( rather a lot of cardboard left which had to be taken to the recycling point.Quick and easy assembly meant I used the cleaner straightaway.The tools are in a compartment which is in the shell of the exterior and are super dinky.Having come from a Dyson and then a Henry , this is by far the lightest to useI barely felt any weight to it when cleaning the stairs, I have dogs who shed and it cooled v well with the pet hair.There is a boost button which gives you approx 15 seconds of extra suction.It is also v quiet and has a number of settings for carpets, wooden floors,

After 10 years of loyal service my 2200 watt Miele Cat & Dog has now been relegated to car cleaning and to replace it i bought this new lower powered C3 Miele. I was a little skeptical that this machine would match the brilliance of my last hoover but I can safely say my reservations were unfounded. What an amazing machine.It's easier to maneuver, lighter, longer cord, quieter and doesn't waste power with hot exhaust, as the Cat & dog did. And, to top things off it's superb at cleaning, suction is amazing and the boost function brilliant. Removes my dog hairs better the old hoover with the standard head!Also, got this on a lightning deal at 130 quid,

I've used this a few times now and am very happy with it. Bit of a learning curve to work out which suction level to use - so many to choose from, and the highest level threatened to lift the carpet! It's not much lighter than my old Dyson, but much more manoeuvrable and a neater shape. Cleaning the stairs is a breeze. I like that the tools fit inside the body so are always on hand. I was a bit baffled initially to find a set of batteries in the box, but on consulting the manual discovered yet another feature - there's an LED light in the handle. I've found this very useful for illuminating corners etc, and it switches itself off.

Update - had this 11 months, just changed the bag and filters, my daughter vacced up some sand and it's completely broken. Rang and spent an hour on the phone to various people ending in speaking with an engineer and it doesn't cover sand and apparently you shouldn't hoover up sand or large amounts of dust/ powder. So it's got to be thrown away as it will cost more than its worth to fix it. GUTTED.Really happy with the vacuum cleaner. It has lots of different setting, it has a good range of height adjustment on the handle, it is easy to maneuver and picks up the dirt/ dust well.

We had a Dyson which was frankly inadequate for a large house with lots of stairs and carpets. It needed continual maintenance to stop the revolving brush in the cleaning head from seizing up. This Miele doesn't have a revolving brush, but nevertheless does as good a job on the carpets. Pity the Miele bags are so expensive, but at least we no longer have to use a knitting needle to get the compacted fibrous waste out of the Dyson'e cylinder while trying not to spill the contents all over the floor.

Replacing a 20 year old model that is still working, but just a bit smelly. It seems to do the job just as well with a 500 instead of 1600 watt motor. Makes you wonder why you would ever need to by a more expensive model than this one? One to look out for a deal on if you in the market for one. Our cleaners prefer these to Dysons, say they are much less tiring to push around as you are not pulling as much weight around,

I love this hoover so far. I've always used uprights but I've had quite a few break recently or lose suction so I did some research on Which! And this brand came up high. Amazon had a good price. I really like it. Great suction, easy to use and a really long cord length.

Bought to replace a valued12yo Bosch machine. Very similar in design, just a bit quieter, lighter and generally easier to move around. Handle design with a grip separated from the tube itself seems comfortable. Good long flex. No obvious cons after a month's use.

Having tried many makes of vacuums before this is without a doubt the best :) It feels robust and built to last. It is quite in even on full power and it works well on hard floors and carpet. Forget Dyson and get one of these- they are far far better.

Expensive vacuum cleaner but it worth every penny. Best huver i ever used. I am working as a cleaner for about 8 years and i know almost all of the vacuum cleaners and I knew that i will buy some day miele. As i am saying fhis is a hover for life

I love our 'Bob' Vacuum. My past 2 have been dysons. I'm hoping a Miele lasts longer.This is really easy to use. I love that you ca change the setting so easily with using your foot and the attachments are stored inside it.I'm really impressed

Really pleased , owned a Miele before but had given it to my grandaughter & purchased a Vax stick cleaner thinking it would be easier to use but could not use it did not pick up very well so decided to get another Miele & very pleased I did!!

After 20 years off service my old Miele gave up the ghost.knew I wanted another miele,but was worried about the low suction.really should have had more faith .this vacuum so powerful i have to use it on the lowest setting.Great value .

Used to have a Henry before and when the tube broke we bought this on Black Friday. After a month of usage, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Works really well on our high pile carpet as well as LVT and is very very powerful.
