When I first used this cleaner it gave an unwanted whistle, but with perseverence I managed to fit the cleaner and its hose together more firmly so as to completely eliminate the whistle: the newness of the machine and its components had made it difficult to fit the parts together cleanly.This problem solved, I was absolutely delighted with the cleaner. It was SO easy to push/pull along the floor, especially in combination with the Miele 69-ML-12 Parquet Twister Hard Floor Tool. The cleaner was even easier for me to use than a very modern upright "stick"-style cleaner which I had also tried but which had left my replaced hip very painful.The machine is very, very manoeuverable,

This is a great vacuum cleaner from Miele. I have been using it for 2 weeks and I am still astonished how whisper quiet it is in operation compared to my long-serving Dyson upright cleaner. It is very well made, craftsmanship is very apparent both in the quality of materials used and in the finish - BMW standards, using a car analogy? It has an extendable hose shaft with a very satisfactory click to get it to the right length. The tools are hidden in a compartment, close to the dust bag compartment.It also has great suction and clever little details like opening an air vent along the main handle if you are vacuuming a rug, for example. I am very pleased with the Miele - I would say it is slightly less maneuverable than a stand-up cleaner,

It's quiet alright. And light. Suction is good, if you turn it up to maximum. However, getting the bags out is difficult ... something seems to stick on ours, and no matter how hard you tug you can't get the darned thing out.Be careful, too, when taking the main head off. Again, it requires a good tug, and if you use a lot of force the head can suddenly give, and go flying across the room right into the face of your beloved partner, or TV, or hapless dog.Other heads are kept neatly in the body, but do, on first opening and use, remember their correct folding and placement in there, or you can, like us, spend a while scratching your head and fiddling around to return them properly so that the lid fits.It's white,

I've always admired Miele products any time I'd seen them, they seemed so well built and quiet. So, when it came time to buy a new vacuum, I chose not to buy that very popular British make because of their CEO's appalling Brexit behaviour and decided to get a Miele and I'm so glad that I did. Forget about those crappy little, cordless plasticky "sticks", this vacuum cleans everything so well and so quietly. The tools all fit neatly into their storage compartment, the cord rewinds neatly at the touch of a button and it copes with both carpet and old-fashioned wooden floors equally well. It sounds bizarre but it's actually now quite enjoyable to do the vacuuming!Great product,

This is a small but amazingly quiet vacuum cleaner. If noise is a factor then this is definitely the machine for you. It is also quite small and light and so it is easy to store and to move around.We found that on carpet you needed to reduce the suction a lot. The cleaning head is not as effective as many we have used although it does get into corners well. It sucks the carpet up as you move the head along but it has no rotating brushes so it just isn't as good as other makes. If you don't have a lot of mess though (meaning that you don't have embedded dog hairs) then it is fine. Where it does work well is on hard surfaces and it is great for laminate flooring.It is very quiet.

I was very happy with the overall look of this vacuum. It's Lotus WHite colour is easy on the eye. My 3rd Miele, this is quieter than the rest, uses less energy but cleans effectively. I have a dog, and have wooden floors and rugs, and the vauum keeps the floors spick and span. The long cord is a bonus, as I am exceptionally lazy about plugging and unplugging, and with a 12M operating radius, it's not necessary. Also, no need to waste time searching for the attachments, because they're all onboard. No disturbing neighbours with late night vacuuming noise. Generally, this is a great all rounder.

This is an excellent cleaner. I really liked the white colour of its slimmer design. Its lighter in weight, and with a longer power cable making cleaning our long hall way an easier task. Its easy to pack away and get out again. I preferred the roller brush from our earlier Miele Cat & Dog cleaner, which unfortunately is not provided with this model. I understand that additional brushes can be purchased, but I was not prepared to spend any extra for what I do feel should be as part of the standard fitments to this cleaner. Other than that I'm satisfied with this bagged vacuum cleaner.

Just to put it up front, the unit stopped working after around 9 months of use, but after contacting Miele they shipped a box for us to send it back for inspection, repaired it and we got it back in working order within a week. So I terms of customer services, they have done very well.In use, the unit provides impressive suction, and it is very quiet - it’s in fact quiet enough that if we take our toddler for a nap during the day in her room, it is barely audible while vacuuming in the hallway outside. I have never owned a vacuum this quiet and powerful.

Purchased this model as have used Miele in the past and have always been impressed with the performance. I can't say the same of this model as it's not great at picking up loose bits from carpets nor is it good at collecting cat hair (I have 3 feline beauties - Cheeky, Claude and Fudge). The noise level is much more pleasing on my ears and I like the way you get to choose the option of the surface you are cleaning.My overall opinion is that this model is worth buying given that it's eco friendly but I still favour the Power Plus 5000

I should’ve bought one of these years ago. It’s a vacuum cleaner, not a fashion accessory and it does what it’s supposed to do really well, it’s well made and has a rediculously long power chord which smoothly returns inside the machine with a reassuring gentle “clunk”, you don’t feel like your about to lose an ankle when you press the chord button. My recommendation is that you dump your fashion accessory which is twice or three times the price of this machine and replace it with this one.

I bought this because I trust the Miele brand and we needed something quiet. I was not prepared for just how quiet this model is, especially when the power is not set to maximum. Very pleasantly surprised.So far, it does not seem that there is a trade-off between noise and cleaning effectiveness. Other reviewers have noted that the cleaning head is a little strange and takes some getting used to, but in the end it works very well.

It was lightweight, and picked up crumbs, fibres, as well as any other vacuum cleaner - for some things I needed the hose, for others the brush. It obviously cannot be absolutely silent but the noise was much lower than other cleaners I have had, and I only needed to use the machine on its lowest setting. I bought another to use at my mother's home and she found the noise level acceptable as normally she is very sensitive to sound.

I have bought many vacuum cleaners in different sizes and shapes and not one of them has beaten this Miele Complete C3 Silence Ecoline Bagged Vacuum Cleaner. The best that I have bought so far and worth the price (which was not cheap). Very powerful and hardly any noise. It's bagged so you don't have to fiddle around with emptying the bag. Works great on hard floors, carpets, great on stairs etc...Would definitely recommend.

Really impressed at how quiet and powerful this device is compared to our cordless vacuum with well know brand- glad to have made the move away from cordless/ bagless. We have had this for several weeks without any indication that the bag needs changing- we acquired a pack of 4 bags and 2 filters through Amazon at a small cost- I expect this meet my accessories needs for the next year.

I suffer from Tinnitus and Hyperacusis so i needed a quieter vacuum cleaner. This isn't silent by any means, but it's a around 60 decibels as opposed to 70/80db of other cleaners. Due to my condition, I still need to wear earplugs/ear defenders using it, but I am very happy with this model knowing it won't damage my ears. Cleans the carpet well.
