I had problems with my knee but the physio said it was my foot throwing my knee out of alignment and she recommended a higher boot that would keep my foot straight, so doing as I was told I looked for boots and through walking I know that Merrill are good, once I had settled on these boots we then looked at the price on the Merrill site there was only 10% off the original price of £130, so these are a good price. I am a standard 6 on advice from hubby I ordered a 6.5 and they are perfect with my thermal socks, one boot seemed to be making a creaking noice but I have just done a 4 mile walk and they are brilliant, comfy, absolutely superb,

Received yesterday, I have not yet tried them in the mountains. From the size chart it was not clear what number to order, the numbers are different from those of other shoes I have of the same brand .. in indecision I took 38.5, which is a middle ground, they dress slightly wide, but I have not yet try the socks a little thicker and in any case by tightening the laces the foot doesn't move too much. They are very light and comfortable, I think they will give me great satisfaction. Parcel received one week after ordering by choosing the cheapest shipping method.

I'm a size 40/6.5 normally ... but they were a tiny bit tight ... felt my big toe touching.Exchanged for a 7 and they are perfect and I'm only wearing thin socks. They are more like a trainer but I wanted a vegan walking boot and this is perfect. So comfy and lightweight, have walked several times in them on different terrains and I'm happy! The front is not wide so if you have wide feet, this may not be for you.Have not tested in rain yet.

Very well made. Light and comfortable (Merrell women’s come quite narrow in general, so does these, but I’m ok wit it).I’m usually size 4.5 or 5 but always choose 5 in sport or freckling boots for extra space for soft trekking socks. So I ordered 5. And it’s far far too big. Had to return it but I’m waiting for size 4.5 to be delivered.I would definitely recommend these. Especially in this price.

Really pleased with these walking boots, im a size 6 with wide feet, i went for the 6.5 and they are great fit, i have been using these 5 times a week and they are comfy and keep my feet dry in long grass, mud and puddles, the boot it self feels wet on the outside when standing in puddles etc but my feet are warm and dry, would recommend to others

Ordered half size up as I aim to hike for 4-5 hours each time. Comfortable boots, well supported around the ankles. No need to 'break in' the boots. Very well made and durable. First walked in them for just under 5 hours in wet conditions and mixed terrain no problems, feet dry throughout and no blisters or aches and pains in feet.

My first pair of walking boots. I always sit between a 5 and a 6 in shoes so went for 5.5 and its a good fit and allows for a thick pair of socks. Tested out walking through wet grass and on the beach. Very comfortable and supportive on the stony parts of the beach. No moisture had got through to my socks when I got home.

These are very comfortable. I have had Merrell walking shoes before and I ordered the same size - half a size bigger than I am -but these come up big so stick to your own size. I was very pleased with how quickly I could return them and the replacement pair turned up the next day.

Use these boots for hiking. They are comfortable warm and really stylish. They are well padded around the ankles and very supportive, You will be able to cover miles in these, also true to size. Customer service is brilliant. Definitely recommend these boots and this seller.

Great boots. Walked everyday through snow and slush amd they have kept my feet dry and warm. I did wear thermal socks which also helped keep my feet warm. Lightweight and the best thing is no need to be broken in.I have arthritic feet and they have been a godsend.

I love this walking boots . True to size , perfect fit very comfortable to wear very light ,no pain and no blisters after six miles of walking. Warm and socks was dry even walking in the muddy field and heavy rain.Wearing my boots every Sunday . Happy customer!

Had a few pairs on Amazon wardrobe to try and these won. Have had them about 6 months. Did a marathon (walking) in them and wear them for dog walking. Comfortable and waterproof. A good buy.

Super lightweight and totally waterproof. I stepped into multiple deep puddles and my socks and feet were dry. I went a half size up to accommodate thick socks and that worked well for me!

Quite fast delivery, which was good. Haven’t worn these much yet, but they are light and comfortable boots, with excellent soles and grip. Nice quality. The toe box is quite narrow though.

No need to break these in as they are comfortable from the first step! I have the training shoes in this style and they were equally as comfortable from the start! Very happy with them.
