I bought the to replace a pair which has lasted me probably 5 years plus - just for dog walks - but so comfy until the tread wore out and the insole went flat. I ordered 6.5 & 7 as I wanted to make sure I had the correct fit. I bought the 6.5's as they are my actual shoe size. My right shoe fits perfectly, feels comfy and given great support. The left foot however now has 2 blisters. The first is on the top of the big toe joint as a result of rubbing where the shoe creases at the bottom of the laces, the other is on my heel. To tie the laces tight enough to stop movement it pulls on the top of of my foot. I am persevering and wearing thicker socks until I have walked them in a bit more.

I’ve only worn these a couple of times for walks of about 3 miles but have found myself not thinking about my feet throughout each walk - always a good thing. They were also a very reasonable price for goretex shoes with a vibram sole.With walking boots/shoes, I normally take a size bigger than my usual size but found I needed my usual size in these. However, despite being the correct length, I find that I can’t wear my walking socks with them because they are quite narrow.My only real gripe is that, in use, they don’t really breathe that well, but goretex tends to cause that.Overall, I’m pleased.

I was concerned about ordering another pair of waterproof walking shoes (daily dog walking, not hiking) as I have already spent a lot of money on unsuitable and uncomfortable boots and shoes. I did a lot of research and decided on Merrell. I was not disappointed. They are stylish and smart casual, great for everyday use. I was able to wear them daily from the moment I received them and are definitely waterproof. I would say they suit a slimmer foot though.

We were in training for the Kiltwalk this year but that has been cancelled I need really good walking shoes usually go for Merrell siren sport but couldn't get them so these are new walking shoes. I was a bit apprehensive at first but have tried them on a few walks and I am impressed they are a good fit comfortable and hopefully waterproof very happy with them and will reorder when they wear out happy with delivery as well

Merrell is a good brand but am always dubious about buying shoes on line.The quality is typical of Merrell- well made with inserts that support the instep, these can be removed to make a bigger shoe - slight elastication to the laces making it easy to tighten. Very comfortable and light-wore 1st time out 3 mile walk and no blisters.Def waterproof too.Only downside - they wouldn’t suit a wide foot.Highly recommend

These fit me perfectly, are completely waterproof, lightweight and generally very comfortable. Bought them to take with me on a trip to NZ instead of hiking boots. Had no issues with rubbing/blisters except when running downhill for 5 miles - to be expected and even then they were hotspots flaring up and didn’t blister! I should probably buy a couple more pairs to keep in the cupboard.

Love the colour, love the fit. . . these “boots” were definitely made for walking!!! That’s all they have done since I purchased them - my exercise each day involves delivering Dad’s paper while exercising the resident pooch!6 plus miles a day since first wear - no rubs, no sores, no blisters and no pains!Recommended to all - including others with wider feet.

I am very pleased with these trainers as I have foot issues including plantar problems. I am a UK 7 so ordered 7.5 which have left the room I need all around my toes wearing thick ski socks, so they are definitely UK sizing. The insoles are removable and they are very supportive feeling and slimline. Very quick delivery with a lot of options for collection.

I’ve had these before (in turquoise, shop bought) and know they are comfortable, supportive and sturdy so ordered the same style and size on amazon. All Great except slightly bigger than expected - even though they are exactly same trainers as shop bought ones, never mind, I just put insoles in and then fine

Bought these for my wife after looking at them in a store which advertised as waterproof. Unfortunately there are two different versions and its the other pair with Goretex that were waterproof.My mistake but still a very good, comfortable walking shoe. Have now bought her the waterproof version as well.

I have had several pairs of Merells over the years and have always been pleased with them. These are no exception, they are comfortable from the start, there are not many pairs of shoes I can say that for. Have walked in them for the first time today for about three miles and had no discomfort at all.

Having a pair of these shoes already, I knew what to expect. They are comfortable and light. However the pair I received had a protruding seam on inside of right shoe, which caused chaffing the first time I wore them.I contacted Amazon and a replacement pair arrived within days. One happy customer!

I'm a fan of Merrel shoes and sandals, which I find fit my fairly narrow feet well. I usually buy a size 8, but, having read previous reviews I tried a 7.5 in this style and am very glad I did. Haven't worn them out yet, but very happy with my purchase. Lovely colour as well!

Feel fantastic on feet straight outta the box, as if I've worn them for years already. Not 1 ache or blister on 1st couple of short walks. Yet to wear them on a long walk but I'm not expecting a problem with them. Love these, went 1/2 size up, no regrets

I was at a loss to choose a size and purchased a larger one. It feels a little big, but it's comfortable, neither thin socks nor too big. Gore-tex is safe especially in the rainy season. Because it is a plain color, it is also active in commuting.
