We were struggling to find something a bit different for our (just turned) five year old. Saw the reviews for this and thought we'd give it a go. The pieces are put together to build sheep and a wolf. Although it looked a bit daunting when we first opened the box, the instructions were excellent and our son happily helped to construct them. He enjoyed the game very much although at first he had a few tantrums when the wolf was sent in to take his wool, but eventually he realised that he could do the same to other people and took to the game well. It's quite a basic game really. You roll the dice to see if you can collect wool, save wool, swap with someone else, or send the wolf to steal someone else wool. The winner is the person with the most saved wool at the end. We bought this in the sale for just over £7. I've seen it since for almost £20 and I have to say I wouldn't pay any more than £7 for what it is. An unusual game though and we've since bought it as presents for his friends. Even his adult cousins became competitive monsters with it.

Bought this for my five year old girl for Christmas. We played it all day, in fact the adults had every bit as much fun as the children. The game gives you several variations on how to play it or you can make up a few yourself. To start with you build four sheep and one wolf out of the Lego parts provided. You also construct the dice (which can be done with several variations dependent on which variant of the game you wish to play). The game then starts as you win bits of fleece for your sheep, others players or the wolf can steal your fleece so it gets quite competitve depending on the nature of the people playing it. We had such FUN.

We bought this game for our 4.5yr old son. He loves the game and the good thing is, the rest of the family really enjoy playing it too. It is a good introduction to elements of strategy, where you have to think about what you do or whether it would be more advantageous to make other players do things. The aim is to have the most wool at the end of the game. Our son enjoys building up the Lego sheep with wool and delights in sending the wolf to claim wool from the other players' sheep. It is very simple to learn but offers lots of enjoyment as every game can be different. Really engaging, family game. Can be played by 2-4 players.

My four year old daughter loves this game. The price seems to fluctuate a lot so hold on and wait til it is low (I paid about £4).It is really simple - you throw the dice and you have to collect wool to put on your sheep. If you get the wolf, you have to 'shave' your sheep and lose all of your wool. There is also a possibility to swap your sheep with others and 'bank' the wool you have collected so that it can't be taken. The box is small so it can be taken on holiday easily too. I'd highly recommend it as the games don't tend to last for very long...which is great if your child has a low attention span!

We bought this lego game at half price on Amazon for a camping trip in August. Our children (age 5 and 7) still regularly request to play this game in the evenings and they love it. It is a quick game to play and having added our own rules and options during play keeps the fun fresh. Simple to set up and master the aim of the game, even after a couple of games our 5 year old daughter started to display a ruthless streak and started winning. In summary ; Lego quality, quick play, great fun, good value and usual top Amazon service.

I bought this for my 4 year old who has recently got into playing games. Some of them cause us to lose the will to live quite early on but this one is great! Admittedly my son sometimes gets annoyed when all of his wool gets stolen by the wolf but that's part of learning that you can't always win.We have really enjoyed playing and I would recommend this for children aged 4 and up. My son has quickly got the hang of choosing which dice option benefits him best and there is a tiny amount of strategy involved.

I bought this game for my 7 year old son for Christmas. The building of the sheep and the wolf was alot of fun and the subsequent playing created many laughs with letting your sheep grow wool and having somebody then taking it away from you.The instructions are fairly easy to understand and can be improvised if need be. This game isn't too complicated, but a bit more involved than Pirate Plank and Sun Block.Great game for a change and very enjoyable. would recommend.

I ordered this as we already had a lego game that my grandchildren loved. This is even better. The youngest grandson is only 3 yet loves the game as does his grandpa. Over Christmas it was the most requested activity and we played with all sorts of combinations from only the children (aged 3, 5 and 7) to all of us (9) in teams. Endless fun including the adult drinking variations. I foresee it as a family must do every Christmas from now on.

This is an excellent family game. It has simple to understand rules, easy even for younger children, and is a lot of fun to play. Well worth the money. You have to build up the sheep, wolf and dice before you play for the first time, quick and easy to do with the clear instructions provided, the children enjoyed doing it.I'd definitely recommend this game for children of 4 and over, mine certainly love playing it!

A fantastic game for my 5 year old daughter. We play together (mum, dad, 5yr old and 2 1/2 yr old)The initial set up took us a while as we let the children do the building. The Sheep are very cute and the wolf equally mean looking! The die rolling to add or take away fleece is educational, the changes in game mode are a great optional extra for when we've played it a few more times too. Overall highly recommended!

I bought this as a stocking filler at Christmas - it's a fun game that anyone can play. You have to build up the sheep, wolf and dice before you start playing (only takes about 5 mins). The aim of the game is to put wool on your sheep, shear it and and have more wool on your pile at the end of the game.Good fun and simple enough for young children to play. Yes I would recommend this product.

This is a brilliant game for 2-4 players, where players attempt to collect wool, however it's not that easy when other players can swap their sheep for yours or the big bad wolf can frighten the wool off of your sheep. I bought this for my school lego club and the children have loved playing it, learning important skills such as turn taking and the unpredictability of dice games.

Great game my boys aged 5 and 9 and dad too, think this game is great fun. Does not take too long to play either. Playing instructions are easy and the game is quick enough for a few games before bed time. I am going to buy another one for a 5th birthday present for my friends son. A no hassle fun game that all fits in a little box. Excellent would definately reccommend.

We purchased this toy as a christmas present for our boys (6 and 8) They both love lego, so we thought a Lego game would go down well! The instructions were easy to follow, and the game was fun to play too! And, because it's lego, you can make your own rules up and change the colours on the dice. I would recommend this to anyone who loves lego - old or young!

This is another fantastic offering from Lego games. It is simple to learn, great fun to play and build and you can change the rules to play in different ways. This game is fantastic for kids and adults alike. In so,e ways I have had more fun playing this with adults as a party game as they can get quite competitive with it.
