This is a great game for children and adults alike. In some ways it also takes Lego building back to its roots, creating a very wide range of models from a limited range of standard and specialist pieces. This demands imagination, creativity, sometimes lateral thinking, and like Pictionary managing to tune into the minds of other players who have to guess what you are making. Sometimes the player can recreate a model very similar to that illustrated on the card, and other times it's simpler or better to create a model that will convey the right image for others to guess correctly. The game suggests 4 methods of play, which gives added flexibilty for differing groups of players. We prefer one player to build while the rest compete to guess first and gain a winning point. Others may prefer concurrent building by several players. The game does not provide a timer, and you may wish to add one to maintain interest and momentum for all the players.Overall ... not cheap, but an excellent game for all ages!

I love this game. I am a fan of Pictionary and the like anyway, but having to build something in 3D is even more challenging and hysterical. There are some real corkers to build in this game and I would say don't trust the rating system of one, two or three question marks, since some of the two question mark cards are v. difficult :). I haven't checked to see if there are any extra cards purchasable for this game, but I think we may end up making some up ourselves, since we went through most of the pack in one game (we weren't following the rules of first to score five winning, that would have meant with seven folks playing,we might have ended the game before the last person got a chance to play!).This game has plenty of pieces to make the models from the cards and to allow your imagination to have some fun too. With an open invitation to make up your own set of rules in the rule book, this is lots of fun for all ages.

Bought this as a Christmas present not just for youngest but for us all to have some family game time instead of one that is reliant on a console.Money well spent in our house, even daughter 21 couldn't wait to play the game, husband too enjoyed it. A game that everyone wanted to play and no arguments or cheating done.If anyone loves Lego then this is a great game that anyone else can play along with them and all enjoy it from the of youngest to the eldest. A game to have in the cupboard for those rainy days or holidays as it keeps them all entertained and good fun looking at the various shapes or objects made. Must admit there is still one I am not sure about.Worth seeing if on offer and buying for a great gift idea,I did and so glad I did.

This imaginative game has given our family hours of fun and amusement. At first, it may appear daunting when you see what the picture cards ask you to make, particularly with the limited number and type of brick that you are provided with. However with a bit of imagination and lateral thinking you can usually get most of the ideas made in the time allowed. You have to realise that you are making an impression of the objects and not a detailed model. My wife has often resorted to simply lying the bricks flat on the table, but it seems to work! It is a great game to play at Christmas when you have more people in each team and it often ends in fits of laughter. You won't get bored with it and it is well worth a try.

My 11 year old Lego-mad daughter bought this with her birthday money and so far we have only played this together as a two-some (not in proper teams as the rules state). She is far better than me and far more imaginative - maybe that is because she has many Lego sets and is used to building complicated kits! It is fun though and I can imagine a group of adults having a great evening trying to build planes, coffee machines and all manner of weird and wonderful things! It takes a while to play though so one has to have patience! All in all lots of fun and if you like Pictionary you will like this game.

This game is not easy!! It is a good game for family fun, however, it is very difficult for children to play independently. Before I bought the game, I thought that the cards would show a lego model for you to make - the cards actually show a drawing of the picture and you have to figure out how to build it (difficult for my 6 year old). It can take my 8 year old quite a long time to build her lego piece and the rest of the family begin to get a bit fed up waiting. I think it will be a game which we can enjoy together in a good few years time, but not necessarily now.

This game is great! I bought it as a present for a 22 year old who is a big lego fan and he loves it. Many nights have been spent playing this whilst drinking. You can really easily modify the rules to suit your group and make this ideal for all age ranges. I could see that a larger group of young children may struggle with some of the cards and especially the boredom of waiting for their chance to build. It seems expensive but when you consider how much lego you get, and the price of lego in general then its not really that bad.

Essentially this game is pictionary with lego, you have to build an object with lego and everyone has to guess what you're building. However, this is really hard!! Which is good because it means it's adaptable for all ages, and we had fun playing with all the family at Christmas. You also get a variety of bricks for your money. If you like lego, you'll love this game. The images on the sides of the boxes are really unrealistic as to what people can actually make under the pressure of the game though!

I got this for my two sons and have played it with them a few times. It's both fun and challenging. Unfortunately the older boy, who loves to build, has utilized much of the special pieces that came in this Creationary set to adapt his Lego constructions and these special pieces have since got lost amongst the masses of Lego we have. So it can't be played as effectively anymore without finding these pieces. But I recommend it. It's a brilliant idea, whoever came up with this game idea, worth having.

I like the game, it's fun, but it is quite difficult when trying to make things which rely on colour but the colours are not available, but I think this is part of the challenge!!As I bought a cheaper imperfect Creationary, I thought there were pieces missing so left a message with the seller, but had no response and it was an Xmas present so I wasn't happy. There wasn't a contents list to help me find out if I actually had all the correct items...but the product did promptly arrive before Xmas.

I gave this to my boyfriend for Christmas and it made for a very entertaining Boxing Day with the whole family joining in.We giggled our way through the game, playing over and over for hours and not getting bored at all. Some of the things you had to build were very challenging and had interesting (and amusing) results whilst others were nice and simple and quick. It was a good balance of difficult and easy so it never got boring. We loved it and will definitely be playing it again and again.

Bought this game for my 7 year old twins and arrived today. We had a couple of goes with this and started on the basic level and found some of the things we had to build quite hard. However, we still managed to have fun. This game is very durable, lots of fun and also educational from the point of view that it lets their imagination run riot.My one complaint is the same as another reviewer in that it is very easy to run out of bits to build your model.Fun game. Would recommend.

We bought the game as pensioners for Christmas, as we were entertaining a group of varied ages - we are in our 60s, young people in their 30s, plus their children varying from 3 (it was a bit hard for them) through to 15. We found it great fun, although of course the young people who grew up with Lego found it much easier than us oldies.A great way of playing together, and the young people insist we must play it together eagain.

This was a Christmas present for my son as he loves Lego and I thought it would be a good game to get the family involved in. There are limited pieces but I suppose you could use other lego to build the numbers up. Some of the things are hard to build and my 5 year daughter had to be helped but my son loved it and we often play it on a Sunday afternoon.Would recommend to any lego enthusiasts - it gets very competitive.....

My son bought this for himself with birthday money after playing with his 12 year old cousin. It is a great game for different aged children to play together and with adults 7+ I would say. It does have very small parts, as with most Lego, so don't let them muddle it up with the rest of the Lego box or it will never work again, and at the money you wouldn't that to happen. Great fun for the whole family.
