This is the first Lego game that I've encountered and I've been very impressed.First of all you have to build the 3 different coloured Lego robots and the dice, (shouldn't take you long). Then you have to separate the robots into their main components - body, head, arms and legs and put them all in the "scrapheap" in the middle. The aim of the game is to be the first to rebuild an entire robot with all parts being the same colour. To achieve this you take turns rolling the Lego dice to see what you have to do - options are taking a piece from the scrapheap, swapping one of your pieces for that of another player or stealing a piece off someone!I was playing this game with a four and a six year old at the weekend and we had lots of fun.

This is possibly the simplest game you can buy.Once built which can be a little bit fiddly for under sixes,you have enough parts for 3 robots,which are each made up of 1 body,1 head,2 arms and 2 legs.Once made up you take them all apart and take the colour body you like and put the rest in the middle or scrapheap as they call it. You make up a lego dice(die) which has the three colours on three sides,a side with all the colours on and two sides with white and black sides.When ready you choose who goes first and roll the die and depending on what you roll, pick up a piece or steal a piece off another player.

We bought this game for my 4yr olds birthday after reading other reviews. The game is easily played and understood by a 4yr old, it has become one of his most popular games. We have played the game as suggested and also changed the rules and played starting with only a body each and all the other parts in the scrapheap. The game helps you to understand rules, taking turns and being a little bit devious with your play. I believe that this game can be played on many levels and will be a winner for some years. Of course after you have played the game you get to have great fun playing robots. The 4yr old is not able to follow the instructions to make the robots from scratch, but this is just down to age nothing else.

This is one of the simplest of Lego's range of build-it-yourself games, but it's still great fun.The aim is to construct a robot; you start with a coloured body and by rolling the lego die, you can take parts (head, arms or legs) from the pile on the table, swap parts with other players, or steal parts. It's very simple and who wins is largely down to chance.There's some scope to change the rules. We've made a rule that all the parts you hold during the game have to be attached you your robot - it doesn't affect the outcome, but it's fun trying to fit three arms onto a headless and legless robot!The game is probably best suited for younger Lego enthusiasts (perhaps in the age range six to

I got my 6 year old son this for his Christmas, and being a lego fan, he loves it. First you build the 3 lego robot models, one each in blue, red and green. Some fiddly work here. Then you take them apart as far as a head, two arms, two legs and a body. You place the parts in the middle - called the scrapheap - and roll the dice to start to build your robot. Each player starts with a body. The coloured faces on the dice determine what you can do. The first person to build a complete robot wins the game. Great fun.

My kids love Lego, and they love the opportunity to play a Lego game. Great concept!A problem with some games is that you have to commit a lot of time to them, so you need to have a good amount of free time. With this game, my kids (aged 7 and 5) can have a quick game before we go out. Keeps them entertained while the grown-ups deal with the younger children, or get things prepared.My kids love the fact the fact that they have to build the game first.Well worth it!

I bought this for my 5 year old son who is a lego fanatic. He was the right age for it and was able to put the robot body pieces together by himself, before we started to play. His bigger sisters, 9 and 11, also like playing it with him. The game itself doesn't last too long (15 minutes) and he loves playing it over and over. You have to make sure you don't lose the small pieces.

This lego game is similar to the traditional beetle drive with additional rules that allow you to pinch parts of your opponent's robot as well as building your own. It is quick and easy to play. My 5 year old and 8 year old both love it. This is one of the most straightforward lego games and very suited to younger players but I enjoy it too!

My son (4) really enjoyed building the robots and playing with them, he'd rather play with the robots than the game rules which I think are probably aimed at 5 year olds not my 4 year old. The game is ok though

I bought this as a present for my 6 year nephew, he loved it. Simple to use but fun, nice quick games and not at all complicated.
