First of all can I just say "Sqqqqquuuuuueeeee, lickle ickle baby turtles and their Mummy or Daddy!!!!"Uh-hum, OK, now I've got that out of my system... This set has 225 parts across 2 bags, 1 sticker sheet, 1 manual and comes with one Mini-Doll of Olivia. While only a relatively small set it has a lot of fun potential. The Dune Buggy come speed boat is a cool idea, and coupled with the observation tower makes for a complete theme to the set. Olivia has her ever faithful robot sidekick, Zobo, to help her out with caring for the baby turtles while Mum/Dad is found. A little sand bank rounds out the set nicely. There are a couple of unhatched eggs so be careful with them and make sure Zobo doesn't knock them over!

My 8 year-old daughter has enjoyed making and playing with this tropical island and amphibious vehicle set. She has a couple of other Lego Friends sets already, and seems to like the imaginative side to the sets. She particularly likes the cute turtles in this particular set. It's worth being aware, however, that the construction options are quite limited with this range, especially compared with boxes of traditional Lego bricks. There is really only one way to construct this particular set. However, the doll-like characters do lend themselves to imaginative play, so I'm not too bothered by this shortcoming. My only slight criticism is that it's not entirely clear from the box what you actually get inside.

You can never go wrong with Lego, we have a lot and buying this at £13 it was a great value set and looked like a decent size in the box for gifting too. Cute little details with the turtles and fun to make. We have a lot of Lego and although we have a lot to be creative sometimes it’s nice to do a set, not sure they’re particularly playable depending on how enthusiastic the child is with it but the great thing about Lego is we can always make something else with it later.I would happily buy more of this particular set as it’s a decent size, very cute and has enough in it to build and play, I’m sure most girls (& possibly boys but no boy figure) would be really happy with it.

My daughter generally likes the Friends sets but she has really enjoyed this one. I think it's because it seemed to offer more opportunities for playing after it had been built. It took her around 40 min to build (she can get easily distracted...) and was happy with the result.It contains a few different animals, plants and a robot that can help Olivia explore the sea and rescue the animals that have either been trapped in seaweed or stuck in some old rubbish. She spends some time playing with this set every day, which has never happened before with any of the other Friends sets.For the price, it is really good value for money.

My 9 year old niece tried this Turtle Rescue toy set and loves it! It comes with a doll, robot and turtles. There is a car, clinic building, playground and island for the turtles. Accessories include turtle egg shells, ball, watermelon, life ring, and things to tend to the turtles such as milk bottles and syringe. Kids can create tons of different scenarios, making playtime interactive, unique and different each time. There is even a LEGO Life app which kids can use to help them build the models in CGI. Being LEGO, it can be combined with already owned LEGO bricks and other play sets to create even more fun.

My nephew LOVES lego and whereas he does prefer the Lego City packs, he likes these Lego Friends packs as well. This one was quite simple to make, but it still took him a while as there are many small bits to assembleThe instructions as per usual are great and there are a few extra bits in there in case you loose some of the more special designed bricks.A great set. We can't see the price and product description at the moment, so I don't know about value for money etc. but we enjoyed assembling it and there were some cool colours and bricks in there that we can use for other new designs in the future.

My 5 year old loves the Lego friends sets and this one was an instant winner. Mainly because it was quite quick to construct. I sometimes get frustrated when I am confused about construction and I get told to "calm down mummy and breathe"! Not so with this one, I managed to build it and my daughter could help out with quite a few sections. She immediately set about rescuing the cute turtles and racing about with the vehicle to get them back and care for them. Great imaginary play and she could involve other lego friends kits too.

The whole family are huge lego fans and this set didn't disappoint. It was bought for my 7 year old daughter, who can put the set together by herself. It has the cutest features, for example she adored the little turtles, hatched eggs, and feeding bottle. We loved the more vibrant colours of the latest friends range, although it seems to be aimed towards girls, my 4 year old son also loved the set. It has provided hours of fun and we can't wait to buy more!It was delivered promptly and in perfect condition too.

A lovely Lego Friends set with some extra-cute little turtles to be rescued. I'm not overly keen on the Lego Friends characters looking different to the rest of the Lego people but I can understand why they want to differentiate. The good news is that the rest of it is just normal Lego construction, not too complex a build for little fingers and, of course, it's all compatible with your other sets. Lego, as always, is a winner!

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old. She was over the moon with this set. I helped her to build the pieces, though the step by step book is easy to follow. She loves it and had hours of fun playing with this. Great fun!

6 year old niece loved this set and played with it for hours. Would explain that there are a few tiny pieces that need an adult to help when building other than that brilliant. Definitely recommend.

Slightly fiddly for 6 year old. But she's assembled it as per instructions, then went off road and made a sturdier version. Which leho is made for!Even 3 yr old had a bash, but he loves his diplo!

Fantastic Lego set. Lots of elements for your money including 4 cute turtles that our daughter loves. Provides lots of fun play and sparks the imagination.

Competitively priced with other retailers. Well detailed and fun to build. All pieces included in the box and plenty of spares once the set was built.
