I purchased this Duplo Creative Play set for my nephews birthday for a little under £19 which I felt was really great value. I have always liked duplo. I was into lego as a child and never came across any duplo, but when I had my son I was pleasantly surprised how much it had developed. Its great as if you have an older child playing with standard lego you can give a younger child duplo and its all very similar, but larger. Its worth noting for those unaware that duplo is not compatible with lego as they are completely different sizes, but their function is the same. I prefer the Duplo to the mega bloks as they often are looser fitted and sometimes fall apart easier. The mega bloks are also thinner material.

Bought for my three younger children. This is a delightful set with enough pieces for all three to make something simultaneously - this minimises arguments over which piece 'belongs' to whom (the pieces in the hands of one of the others always looks more appealing!!) They are bright and easy to handle (my younger ones are 2, 3 and 4 years old,) offering enough challenge to keep them occupied at least for enough time to have a cup of coffee and a slice of cake should you be so inclined.The external box is sturdy enough and of a good size, although I feel the lid is a little flimsy and would not withstand being sat upon accidentally or having something dropped upon it.

I purchased this for my almost 2yr old, primarily as we have another LEGO set and were looking to both get some more bricks as well as have somewhere to store it all. There's a good selection of bricks in the set, but perhaps not lots of 'inspirational' pictures around what can be constructed (our other set had more).Storage container is robust but not inflexible, and has survived my toddler standing on the lid a few times.Great set to play with and little one gets a kick out of tidying away bricks by herself and closing the lid.

Better price than I could find anywhere else for a good starter pack of duplo. My 1 year old loves the guy and the dog.The box is not easy for little kids to open so I had to transfer into a plastic tote, rendering the big plastic box useless.This stuff is overpriced, but has great play value and seems to have some resale value later on.There aren't quite enough blocks for anyone over 2 to enjoy just this one set. Even my 1 year old starts looking for more pieces at times.

Great size blocks for toddlers & young children. solid materials. Bright and colourful. Endless fun. Build creations from the booklet or use your imagination to build whatever you like. Contains a fair amount of blocks plus extras like a little dog and figure. I love that you can use the box for storage and there’s some space left to add more blocks inside. Played with by my 3year old and 5year old. Excellent for any children who likes building And creating

My 3year old and my 21 month old boys play with this LEGO everyday. They must ask me to bring the LEGO box down from the shelf. My 3 year old loves to build a tower with it and he is never tired of showing off his hard work, ? while his younger brother is more interested in ruining all that hard work and hiding the pieces in the most unlikely places ?. They have misplaced some pieces, but isn’t that what kids do? They continue to love it anyway.

Really a nice set with some unique blocks and characters - my daughter loved making a house and car , and dumping the bin over ... and over ... ugh I can’t get them put away . Perfect amount and they don’t come apart as easily as other large blocks we recently bought . Sad thing to see your kid build something and hold it up to show you and it falls apart - recipe for toddler meltdown - these blocks have saved me from future meltdowns !

I bought this for my eighteen-month-old grandson as a COVID-19 gift as hadn't seen him for a while. Present were my self, the other nan, my son, his wife, granddaughter 4 who exclaimed "Lego!", when it was opened. Everyone played with it at some time, sitting on the floor, making gardens, houses and cars! No doubt there will be ours of play with it. The bricks were chunky and easy for the 18month grandson to put together!! Great Toy!!

Good selection of blocks and a wheeled base. Couple of people animals and flowers. I'm enjoying playing with it, think our granddaughter does too! Would have been 5 if the box was a bit sturdier as it is a little bit flimsy. Not strong enough to sit on (though I guess that's not its purpose!) But it is just the right size for a toddler, so I'm sure it will happen. Other than that it is a good buy!

Lovely set that contains lots of different pieces. There are figures, wheels and numbered blocks amongst other things, all of which give your child a variety of ways to play. I like that it comes with the storage tub too to keep things tidy.I've always found Duplo very strong and durable and it's one of those toys that will stand the test of time. We would recommend.

My kids started playing with these Duplo blocks around 2yo. Compared to megabloks which they played with when they were younger(they got really frustrated when the pieces didn't stay on), the Duplo pieces fit more securely. Sturdy and survived being thrashed around the place. This is a good starter set, a good amount of pieces to play with for the price

This is the one toy our toddler just keeps coming back to. Hours and hours of endless fun. I was a huge Lego fan when I was younger, and I must admit, it's great fun to play along with your child. My only gripe is that there isn't a lot of blocks. If you're going to buy it, I suggest buying perhaps another Lego Duplo box to supplement it.

My 3 year old son loves this set of Duplo blocks. They are a nice size for little hands. He is able to follow the pictures and do the builds provided with the set. He also enjoys just playing with the blocks and making new things. This set has a nice variety of block sizes and colours. The box they come in is plastic and is really nice.

Ordered this which arrived pretty quick. The box was a good size, expected it to be smaller but was big enough for a small child. Brick size the Lego pieces were nice and big but still suitable for up to 5-6 years old. It is good for building and breaking and then being able to store away in the box once finished playing.

Will entertain but also educate your little ones with further use. The bricks come in all shapes, colours and sizes and this will gradually teach a child to think more and become more creative. The inclusion of character pieces also drives your childs imagination into formulating dwellings, transport and more for them.
