Really pleased with this purchase. Bought it to add to set previously purchased (Play with numbers) - especially as this set has the plastic carry box. Looking at how many lego pieces there are, I would say that it would only be sufficient as a stand alone set, for a young child (perhaps age two). But, if as I am, you are buying to add to other duplo you have it has some nice little objects (person, cat & dog) and has several examples of things that can be made with it. Overall, I would recommend, and am very happy with my purchase.

My daughter loves duplo and will independently play with it building her own towers etc.. however the reason I didn't give this 5 stars, as duplo is a great product which we will buy more of, is the size of the box is large and the bricks when in it only fill it about a third, we have fitted another two duplo sets in the box with it, so it is a great way of starting a collection and a good storage box but a bit deceptive in terms of the quantity of duplo you get.

An excellent lego set: the pieces are large and therefore easy to handle (I fancied trying Duplo, not sure what the pieces were like, but I was pleasantly surprised to find them as I have mentioned above). Some lego pieces are small and difficult to handle, but I found this Duplo set quite the opposite. I would recommend this set to anyone who, like me, finds it difficult to handle and assemble small pieces and who, also like me, loves lego.

As a grandparent this suits me well. I bought a separate duplo farm animals set and this fits in the box. My grandson is 14months and this is suitable for making cars, talking about animals etc. If I was a parent this size would be too small as he would out grow it but as I see him once a week this is fine for me. Good quality box with a green lid that can be used to stand figures on etc which show up against a patterned carpet.

My daughter loves this lego set, particularly the little cat and dog. I have purchased another set to go inside the box as this is only 1/4 full but after shopping for additional sets I noticed that all of them are of the same size anyway so it wasn't too much of an issue. At least then you get to pick which ones you want.

I bought this for my 16 mth grandson who loved it. After a short lesson he he knew that the lego was for making and building things. He has not put the box down and it is just the perfect size for his age. Item was delivered well before estimated date and it is money well spent. Ace seller...

I was skeptical when I bought this pack as it's expensive but I'm a convert. It's a great product, sturdy and practical and my son hasn't tired of it. I will definitely be putting lego duplo on his Christmas list, he's 20 months now and I can see him getting hours and hours of fun from it.

This is a really nice set. The blocks and figurines are really good quality and have vibrant colours. The unusual pieces like the puppy make it even better. My son loved them, although I had to buy a second box because the pieces are so few. I'd even recommend getting a third box!

This was a present for a three year old child. The bright colours, range of simple but inter-usable pieces and the carry box make it an ideal toy for her to get out when she visits. The little characters make pretend play the obvious follow on from the construction play.

We got this after my daughter was given some small duplo sets for her first birthday—the box is great for containing them all and she loves the cat and dog that come with it (amongst the other blocks!). All in all it can hold an extra 3 or 4 small sets before it's full.

Bought this for a one year old and the parents were very pleased. Everyone loves LEGO and the Duplo packs are a good idea to start the collection. Also it's good to give a toy that is creative rather than noisy (parents will agree). Hours of fun, a classic.

I bought this for my grandson for when he comes to my house. There's quite a lot of lego pieces in it and I love the plastic box for storing all the pieces in. I thought this was good value considering some sellers were more expensive.

I bought this for my 2 year old and he loves it, he likes to build the pieces to look like the one on the box. You don't get alot in the box but it does mean that you can buy more and store it in this box

great value for money. has lots of bricks to make something instead of the ones that have more people and animals etc. kids play this for hours. def buy the mat to go with it

Lego is the best.Durable, fun and educational.Bought this one for the dog and cat figurines for our son. There is plenty of space in the box to buy additional pieces.
