I wanted to get my 18 month old daughter some blocks to play with and found out that DUPLO is compatible with LEGO. We will definitely be buying her lego in the future so thought duplo was a good idea as it would then last longer. I done a lot of searching on this as i wanted to get a half decent set to start off with. This product has 85 pieces and come in a very sturdy cardboard box with a fab lego shaped sorting lid. I almost got the deluxe box which was over £30, but this only had 20 extra peices and just came in a plastic tub. Therefore this product works out at fantastic value. The bricks are great quality and brightly coloured and my daughter loves them. This will last years,

This Lego set has a good number of different bricks and my two grandchildren aged 2 and 5 love this set. The figures are a hit and they have great fun assembling different shapes and constructions. The bricks are chunky and easy to handle for the two year old and there is no danger of him putting them in his mouth and choking on them. Lego has always been a hit over a lot of years with my children who are now adult and Duplo is now great fun for their children too. It's great that there are over 80 bricks as a lot of the Duplo sets can be quite expensive because they have only a relatively small number of pieces - not so with this set. Excellent value for money. Well done, Lego.

Purchased for a 2 year old.Very good quality, the child loves it and can make various shapes easily.Note that the bucket, though large, is only half full so do not expect that many pieces (85 are included according to the label). You can, however, use it to store other pieces you have.The box is carton and is not expected to last very long, being used by children.EDIT: The box was destroyed after two days.

I bought this for my 14 month old little girl. It was her first box of duplo, and an delighted with it. There are enough blocks and extras as a starter kit. My little one is loving it so, almost as much as myself and my husband. Have already ordered another big box from Amazon to add to our collection. The cardboard box is surprisingly strong and still looks good.

My daughter loves Lego and she is playing sometimes during the day with this.She liked a lot the pink pieces and the quality as always is excellent.This is helping in her development for creativity and design new buildings =)Total amazing product!

My 19 month old son loves his first lego, he doesn't build much, but is interested in the colours and what we build, he also really likes the noise of them all clattering around together. Great design, great product - I expected nothing less.

this is a great toy for any child! hours of fun for you and them! you can buy extra pieces and extend the collection. Only dissapointing thing is the containers cardboard so its not going to last very long, but the lid is plastic.

Wonderful game, my 2.5 year old son loved it. Large selection, many pieces, great colors, great quality, great price compared to other lego construction sets. My son plays with it all the time, creating a lot of things.

High quality duplo Lego. My 18 month old loves putting the pieces together, pulling them apart or knocking over anything we build for her! Quite expensive for the quantity of bricks but I know it will last.
