My 2.5 year old is only ever truly engaged in play when he’s sat playing with his duplo bricks. Some of the sets are good but don’t have a great amount of bricks in so this is brilliant. He sits for hours just building Dino cars & houses. Singing little songs & building away. The only time I don’t favour it is when it’s all tidied away and you hear the sudden crash of the Lego box being emptied out. It’s a good size box with a good selection of bricks. Perfect for adding to a growing Lego box

This set mainly contains basic blocks, which allow the children to use their imagination and build large structures. They are much more useful than the sets of Duplo that make specific objects - the problem with those is that they are very expensive, the pieces get mixed up and the irregular shaped blocks are not appropriate for building houses, forts, towers etc, which is what kids want to do. You can’t buy genuine sets that contain only basic blocks but this set is as close as you can get.

A big hit with our 2 year old niece. The bright colours are attractive and the size of blocks easier to handle and great for developing fine motor skills. The inclusion of other items other than blocks e.g. figures, arches, windows allows for greater creativity. Groups of pieces were packaged separately within the box so all the pieces to create a certain scene were all together. If you want to maintain this order after the initial opening, you might want to save a few empty ice cream tubs.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my three year old granddaughter, for whom the Duplo was purchased. She seems happy with it and can certainly use it, which is great. Its the usual good quality Lego/Duplo product which is a few bits of plastic that cost an arm and a leg wherever you buy it from. I asked her if she had any comments to make but she just blew a raspberry, smacked me on my leg and ran off, so I think she must be perfectly happy with it.

The set contains alot of blocks yes its an expensive set but it should last your child till there old enough to use lego or get tired of duplo. My son plays with the duplo on a daily occasion like trying to build towers or just random things. He can play for hours on time or sometimes he just likes to take them out for a short time. The set allows you to build multiple things or if like my son he likes me to help him build 1 big thing

This was my 5yr olds request as a reward for doing really well on his behavioral chart. he loves it so much that he has put it as a request for his next treat too. its very heavy duty and robust. this particular model has more than enough lego in it to make plenty of different models with it. I highly recommend thisproduct.

This is the best value Duplo set I found anywhere. If you're not worried about having the branded storage box then this is the box for you. You get more than enough pieces to start your collection and get building without running out of bricks. The only thing it is missing is some wheels. A top buy!

I wanted a lot of bricks as my son has most of the diplomats sets but needed more bricks to build- this pack was perfect- couldn't find it anywhere else and it was totally worth the price :) bright colours and great quality used the click and collect process and it was simple- thank you!

Lovely set of duplo, perfect for my 2 year old. Nice colours and lots of plain bricks to build with. Relatively good value for money as duplo is always expensive and you get a fair amount of bricks yo build with. Also contains figures which make it more interesting.

Bought as a Christmas present for my Lego loving 2yr old. Have it on my watch list and got email it was on offer so bought it and even got another 10% off due to lego code Argos we’re offering. Brilliant for young kids lots of large bricks. 10/10 again thank you Argos.

Lego has an enduring attraction for little ones and our grandchildren are enjoying this new set as much as their parents did when they were the same age. Robust build quality and so versatile. It is quite simply still the best construction set there is on the market.

A fabulous Duplo set, allows for plenty of creativity. I was a little disappointed with the loose fit of some of the bricks, they came apart too easily. I compared to some older sets that we have, they held together more tightly. Therefore only four stars...

Lego keeps my twins entertained for a while, they love building towers and they even love putting lego back into the box once they finish playing. This set is perfect for developing kids motor skills and creativity. Would make a perfect gift as well.

This is a great set to get a decent quantity of bricks so you can actually build things! Houses, towers, castles etc. The smaller sets are limited by the amount of bricks but this provides a good amount so my son can use his imagination a bit more!

It is a great set, very versatile and enough pieces to build many creations. Very pleased with my purchase and so is my 3 year old daughter who loves Duplo. Lots of colorful bricks with many different shapes and sizes for hours of creative fun.
