We are definitely a Lego loving household and this Cinderella's Romantic Castle is one of the best Disney Lego sets we have. My Daughter is younger than the recommended minimum age and so whilst she built a lot of the castle by herself, I had to help with the more tricky parts. My Daughter loves this set and in particular the bridge with red/pink carpet and of course the spinning dance floor. This is an older set from 2014 which is now discontinued and was originally just under sixty pounds new.Size:-The castle is a really good size and measures 26cm wide by 22cm deep by 35cm high to the top of the flag pole of the highest tower or 30cm to the top of the blue part of the highest tower.Age Suitability:-The set is aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old however as I mentioned above,my daughter is younger than 6 and managed to build most of the set by herself with only a little bit of help needed for a couple of the trickier parts and of course the stickers to ensure they went on straight. I will point out that some of the stickers are really tricky to try to get on straight as they don't have straight edges themselves to line up with the edges of the bricks and so they are very fiddly.Build Bags etc:-The set has two instruction booklets with easy to follow step by step instructions and five build bags. The set has 646 pieces plus some small additional spares. The set also comes with two sticker sheets.Figures:-The set comes with Cinderella and Prince Charming figures and Lucifer the cat and Bruno the dog.Parts:-In addition to the main castle there is an outside swing, outside table and chairs and desert trolley.Features:-At the front of the castle there is a bridge over a river complete with a decorated brick to look like the shoe that Cinderella dropped. There is a bench for the two lovebirds to sit and an outside bed area for Bruno. There are 3 balcony areas for the Prince to look out from to search for Cinderella along with the working swing and outside table and chairs. There is also a big clock on the front of the tower showing the time just before midnight.Inside the castle there is a bathroom with a sink and bath on one side and a fireplace with seat on the other. In the central area there is a bookcase which turns to reveal the hidden key for the treasure room upstairs. There is also a very long pink/red carpet and rotating dance floor for the couple to dance on.Upstairs there is a bedroom with a dressing table and a hidden compartment under the bed which reveals a love letter. Just above the bedroom is the treasure room with treasure chest and just above this is Lucifer's cat bed complete with a saucer of milk. This is a beautifully designed castle and my daughter loves playing with this set. The only slight negative I would have is that there are no stairs leading to the upstairs and so a bit of imagination is required for how Cinderella gets up there. This is definitely one of the best castle sets we have and a nice fairly easy build.

This was the first sizeable Lego Disney Princess Castle and it is particularly well executed. The colour scheme is lovely, it has some height, several towers with flags and it comes with many play-features like a swing, a dog house, a ball dancing floor and of course a clock to strike twelve and break the magic. There are quite a few accessories like chairs, a letter, a dog’s bone a diner cart ect.The figures included are somewhat helpful. We already had a Cinderella, that came with the carriage that matches the castle very well. But Prince Charming was very welcome. If one or two more figures, like the Fairy godmother or Anastasia or Drizella were included this would materially have increased the play-value.A dog and cat are included as well. The set comes with a transparent angled wall tile on which a shoe sticker needs to be placed, to represent the glass shoe ... a somewhat sad though inventive solution to match the iconic scene from the movie. The built is quite straightforward and our young children faced no challenges that required assistance from our side. So they managed to complete it in about 1.5 to 2 hours.

This is a nice toy, it's quite time consuming to build though, particularly when the parts are all mixed together. Our daughter who is admittedly below the target age group does seem to enjoy playing with it, although like most Lego once assembled it's quite fragile and frequently comes apart. So in many respects the fun is in the building rather than direct play. The instructions are easy to follow. My only issue with this really is the price, as with all Lego items really, they just don't justify their price tag. I bought my one of these from Tesco at £45 which was the cheapest I could find. But to be honest a price tag of about £25 would be more appropriate.I'm sure Disney are taking a significant licensing fee from Lego which may account in part for the massive price tag. So overall it is a good toy, it's fun to put together, it's play value is a little limited due to fragility, but it didn't seem to bother our daughter. So key point with the 41055 kit is shop around for it if you want to buy one.

This beautifully thought-out kit will please any little girl who likes to combine Lego with princesses, and let’s face it, what little girl doesn’t?!Construction wise, it is split into two sections, with extremely easy to follow instructions as per all Lego kits, plus a few extra bits left over. It took me approx. 2 hours to complete. The castle itself contains lots of little nice features, such as a revolving secret bookcase, dressing table with a drawer to keep those all-important tiaras and lip sticks in, treasure chest, a roaring fireplace and a very fancy cake trolley fit for a Princess! It also includes a Princess and her Prince charming (naturally!) and a pet cat and dog.A great set,and with the current obsession with Disney’s Frozen, this is sure to provide many hours of enjoyment.

My daughter and I are huge Lego fans, and this set certainly delivers, it is AWESOME!It is really detailed, and may be a bit daunting for younger children, so I'd say the age range of 6-12 is bang on, but older children (and grown-up fans!) should love building this. There are so many details that make this really delightful for Cinderella fans - Bruno and Lucifer are there, and the castle is absolutely stunning. There are really cute extra features, like a hidden key to "unlock" the tower room, a slipper brick, and a spinning circle so Cinderella and the Prince can dance together. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, and the numbered bags of bricks make it easier still to follow. So impressed with this set, your little princes and princesses won't be disappointed!

Nice big castle. My daughter wanted the Frozen one but looking at how small it is, I managed yo coax to her to go for this one instead and she is absolutely loving it. It is perfect for her 5yo mind cos building it challenges her and is teaching her patience. It arrived on the day promised but pretty late, around 6.30pm, making my daughter very anxious whilst waiting for it to arrive.

This is excellent! We bought it for our 4 year old to build with her Daddy. It has so many pieces- the Animals are lovely and the little touches that make all the difference- trellis windows that can open, a hidden key behind the bookcase, the taps in the bathroom, a garden swing that swings! I cannot recommend this enough- it's beautiful

My 8 year old daughter built this independently over several hours. It challenged her but she enjoyed it and now enjoys playing with it set up, especially the little animal figurines. I am so pleased that lego is now catering for girls!

Beautiful toy. I really enjoyed building this with my daughter who, at just four years old, is under the reccommended age. She plays with the characters and manages well with all the fantastic little detail inside the palace.

Fantastic castle to build. Received as a birthday gift for my little girl & she really enjoyed it, this was my daughters (age 7) first 'big build' she loved it! We've had lots of fun plying with it since its been built too.

Again, quite disappointingly small and fiddly, saying that, my 7 year old daughter loves it. As with all Lego though, I wouldn't pay the full RRP, but that's why we all buy off Amazon, they always have a good deal on!

Prompt delivery. My Granddaughter loves it.But after she has made it, she does not want to break it up!!They do come out a little smaller than you think they will, but are still very nice.Would recommend.

superb lego set for girls who love princesses and much sturdier than plastic castles that fall apart. The attention to detail is great and just like the real Cinderella castle in Magic Kingdom
