Fabulous set. Fairly simple to build with many quite large pieces such as the turret towers and not deep so you can build the set relatively quickly and get on with playing. It is also fairly stable and robust so does not fall apart or bit fall off as easily as other castle type sets we have built (Hogwarts etc). If your child is a really keen builder who likes a hard challenge and relishes the build then this might not be the set for them but if your child likes building and then also playing with the set then they will love this set.The turrets can be configured in different ways with several layouts given in the instructions and the set comes with some nice touches - a revolving fireplace with space to hide one of the mice or some food or a glass etc.

My Daughter is Lego mad and the Disney Princess range has to be her favourite out of all of the ones we collect with the Elves range right up there too.We had the older version of this castle and while this new castle is incredibly similar in style with similar rooms too, the main feature that sets this new version apart is the ability for it to be changed around and even linked with parts of the other new Disney Princess sets such as the Sleeping Beauty set.This is the largest new Disney Princess set and it is a brilliant build that took my Daughter and I a few hours to do.The set comes with Cinderella and Prince Charming figures so it comes with a couple of figures to start playing with striaght away.

This was a fairly easy quick build with only one oops moment with my young assistant where we had to rebuild the front archway. The instruction booklets are getting better and bigger with a proper bound edge rather than staples so you can keep this on a bookshelf for rebuild instruction. I found the flimsy pamphlets slid and ripped easily if you tried to store them on a bookcase so this is a definite improvement.There are great touches like a hidden secret compartment in the swivel fireplace and flip up bed. There is great open access play with figures, the mice and horse and cart. The upper tiers are easily removed due the design of only being held by a few connectors - smooth blocks mostly

It certainly looks like your archetypal princess castle once complete. It takes a while to assemble though some parts are already in their fixed state. It comes with a couple of small figures, princess and her prince and the small details are rather nice. Not for every child as I think you have to be a bit of a fan of the whole concept especially with older children. Anyway it's a nice looking thing and there is a sense of achievement from having completed the build.

My 10 year old is a massive disney fan and absolutely loved building and playing with this set over the Easter holidays. I remember she really wanted a number of Disney princess sets a few years ago and she got a small Little Mermaid set and the Frozen castle, but at the time she was really keen on the Cinderella castle, but that version has been retired by Lego (although there are still some sets around to buy

This has gone down a storm in our household.My niece, in particular, was hugely enamoured by it and keeps on calling it 'my disney castle'.It's worth noting this isn't an entirely build it yourself affair, so not true lego. However, that makes this much more accessible.It also comes with some great accessories and characters, lovely set for younger children

Bought for my neice, she loved it,as did her mum.I wasn't sure how basic it was, the pictures dont show a great deal, but it's a standard Lego kit (so the 5 year old strugged to build it but likes playing with it. As she gets older she will be able to rebuild and dismantle

Absolutely love lego in this house and this is no exception. This is a nice sizeable playset with the usual lego instructions and options to taylor make your creations. May require some parental help if the child is very young but on the whole a fabulous set.

We live in Australia and 3 of our grandchildren live in the UK so we use Amazon for birthdays and Christmas.This was for grand daughters' 6th birthday. It is a big fairy princess castle. Lots of pieces, good value.

Great Lego kit, granddaughter really loves it, like all of the Disney Lego kits there are extremely expensive, perhaps soon they will become sensibly priced.

My 7 year old granddaughter absolutely loved this Cinderella Castle which we bought for her birthday. Very happy with the product.

This is a lovely Lego set, an enchanting palace. Looks great and is complex enough to interest my 8 year old daughter.

Amazing set easy to assemble .Just disappointed in the amount of plastic packaging. More Lego fault than Amazon.
