Brilliant new Classic Lego collection. Bright mixed colours and a variety of bricks. I've been avid Lego buyer since son born (9 years) and some new 'basic cog" styles in this pack I had not seen. 7 year old daughter dived in and made all five recommended items alone, albeit some needed a little thought. One build was kept complete and other items broken up to do some Master Building and up grading on same day.I hope there are more on this style to come out as very reasonably priced and a real hit.

I purchased this during Prime day sale; got a very good deal. The product itself is amazing. This Lego set is nice piece of creativity itself. One can make working models, which excites young ones and also stimulates their creativity. My 5 year old son is hooked onto it. We have already built all the models shown in the included book and also downloaded PDFs of other models from Lego site. Overall excellent value for money.*The blue base plate has been purchased separately.

My 9 year old Grandaughter, for whom I bought this Lego to supplement the collection she already has, is very happy with the "lovely bits" she found in the box and has made some splendid, quite complicated items. I wish I had shares in Lego as I think it is a bit over priced but so much better to encourage the young to use their imaginations and hands instead of staring at screens.

Her mother said “she won’t like this” we showed her... she loved this item SO MUCH!(To make anything function you obviously need to heavily prompt them..... 3 year olds suck and basic mechanics).

Great birthday present to go with the huge box of bricks also purchased. Useful bits to encourage imagination instead of following instructions in sets. Lots of lovely colours, shapes and designs.

Brilliant multiple choice of brick sizes and colours. Only thing I didn't like was the amount of packaging that I had to open to get to the bricks. Was a touch unnecessary.

This is a great mixed box of lego, wheels windows etc. It is nice to have a variant of pieces, other than just the sets. Be nice to see more of these . Highly recommend

Would have liked a few more gear and cog pieces included in the set but it is awesome! Nice introduction for younger kids (and some adults too). Highly recommended.

Builds several interesting pieces with my grandson, but it's too complicated for a 3 year old.I build, he plays and part dissasmebles, so it's fun together

This kit includes some really nice models for younger children to build, also a lot of room for creativity. A good introduction to some simple mechanisms.

Wonderful toy would love to have more sets available. My 4 year old has enjoyed building all the little models and coming up with his own ideas

Just the job for finishing off a Lego project. Eyes and little gadgets to put movement into the models make this a great add on to a basic set.

Open ended play. Very creative. Our grandchildren love being able to make something that 'works'. Bought as an addition to a larger set.

What’s to dislike...it’s Lego, it’s all about connecting things to make them move and connecting people as they build together.
