So impressed with the delivery of this item.It was due to arrive on the 7th I got it on the 3rd.There was too much packaging - the item was already in a cardboard box. But there was no damage and the items were more or less as expected.The item's themselves were fine a little thinner than I thought but they have worked perfectly. The legos fit to them fine - had to use a bit of force to press them together but other than that not a problem with them.

Expensive yes, but it really transformed the way my children played with lego - they are age 5 and 6. using the plates enabled them to set up far greater 'scenes' for battles, play etc. they have used them daily since christmas day not bad as we are just into Feb - they do seem a tad on the flimsy side - a bit like a wobble board.

My son was delighted with this Lego package. The large grey base plate was perfect for a Lego game he made for an English extended learning project. He says "it was a great buy and worth the price."

These baseplates were exactly what was needed to go with previously bought lego sets. Why weren't baseplates included in the original sets? They do seem remarkably pricey.
