I have slightly shorter, wider feet than normal and so buying shoes, especially ones that need to fit very naturally, can be difficult. I always end up having to buy sizes that are too big and so I have a lot of space left at the toe and which can cause pain. Keen Targhees are a little wider than most boots I have tried and they just fit me like a glove. After a few days of wear the material really does shape to form, when I slip them on they feel like they're moulded to my feet with just the right give in them. So comfortable and hard wearing.I have owned my Keen Targhees for nearly 10 years, I caught them on sale when I was rather poor but just had to have them as they were so nice. They have done much of the Coast to Coast walk with me, up and over the Peak District more times than I care to mention and are treated like a work boot whenever I need to do some smithing or hauling around. They have recently started to wear to the point of not being as water tight as they once were but have more than served their purpose and money's worth. Perhaps if I hadn't spent so much time on concrete/asphalt with them they may have lasted considerably longer. Even when I retire these ones I will keep them for non-hiking/wet duty. I'm willing to bet they will go another 10 years+ on that job. Will be buying my new pair when I next head out to the Lake District.

I have very broad feet and often need to size up for correct fit. For these boots, I have a UK 10. My trainers are UK 8.5 and Columbia hiking shoes are UK 9.Having worn these for about 10 long walks, they're extremely comfortable. The lacing system keeps them firmly on the foot. There is space for toes to wiggle whilst not allowing the boot to move and cause blisters. They seem very well made. Much better than Columbia (returned 3 pairs within 6 weeks) and Northface (lasted a year). I especially like the wrap-around rubber over the toe area. I'm sure it provides some protection for toes but equally, it provides protection for the boot upper; really great if like me you live somewhere rocky or often crouch, neel or otherwise would scuff the front of the boots. They're not overly warm which is great in a waterproof boot.I hope that when these do eventually wear out, they still make the same boot to the same quality. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

I wanted a pair of everyday lightweight boots for summer dog walking, they had to be waterproof, comfortable and modestly priced these ticked all the boxes. Have worn them for two weeks they fit like glove and the heel grip system works, they have mid size toe box, measurements available on Keen website.Have walked through long wet grass and hosed them off to clean them, no sign of water penetration so far. They look robust and the smooth Nubuck looks good after applying G-wax. Probably not the most popular colour hence a good price but who cares when they are wet and muddy!

When I purchased these from Amazon, having tried them previously in a highstreet shop, I found the right shoe looked different and was tighter. I sent them back. I decided to buy direct from Keen, more expensive, however both boots fit perfectly. from the Amazon seller the left boot appeared to be wide fit and right boot standard. Be careful if you need wide fit as I suspect the right had been swapped or packed by mistake. I decide to buy direct from Keen knowing my size because Cotswold outdoor didn't stock the targhee 3 exp.

I was looking for a boot with the feel of a tennis shoe. The Keen Targhee iii is exactly what I wanted. I intended to use them working inside and out on an old house. I actually wear these for almost everything, even if just running to the grocery store. Very comfortable, light weight boots. I haven’t used them for hiking but I’ve used them clearing brush, building a deck, pressure washing driveways, they clean up easily. I wear size 12 medium in tennis shoes and the keen fit true to size for me.

Bought this a couple weeks ago! I still have to yet break them in i feel them kinda hard still after wearing them 4-5 times regular use non hiking, i love the design on this i have another pair of keens different designs can't remember the name but those didn't lasted me that long a couple hikes and the bottom sole came off loose took them back got a new pair of the same ones and sure enough same thing happened! Hopefully this don't have that problem cuz it will be the last time i buy this brand!

While they are not the most inexpensive boots out there, they have the support, comfort and overall design of pricier boots. I've had many mid and lightweight hikers, and there are probably the best. They are durably constructed with a thoughtful lacing design that facilitates support. The body, mid sole and curved last are all sturdy but still flexible - with most boots in this category you often sacrifice flexibility for sturdiness, or vice versa. They are also true to size, which is a plus.

I found these cheaper at Go Outdoor. My size there was for £85, quick check on amazon (£205 WHAT), haggled Go Outdoor down to £75 as it was their last pair. Great shoes for £75 however, the laces keep undoing. I expected much more from Keen. I have out double knot so lets see over time how that works out but undone laces is sign of cost cutting. I will never buy a Keen if thats the case at anywhere near full price.

Fit perfectly. Comfortable from the start, no need for break in. A couple of days after receiving we got 18 inches of snow. Strapped these into snowshoes and hiked about half a mile to a local creek. The going was tough because of the snow. Sometimes, even with the snowshoes, we would be almost ankle deep in water as we approached the creek. My feet stayed warm and dry.

I've worn these boots every day for a year at work in all terrain. Mostly dry climate. They are not great as far as being water proof but they are light and extremely comfortable. I have struggled with foot and back pain for many years until I started wearing keen boots. I have owned some that were specifically for colder wetter weather and they were great.

This is my 3rd Keen (last 2 were Keen Gypsum) and satisfied after boot has broken in. Boot was purchased mainly as a work boot which spends 90% of its time on concrete and I find it very comfortable. Was a little surprised how tight it felt on the sides of my foot ,but like I said it is good after broken in. Time will tell how long it will last.

This boot was extremely comfortable and offered superb traction while also not allowing my foot to slide around on uneven terrain. The only downside is they do not stay on the roof of a car when you forget to take them off and drive away. They also do not have gps so I could not find them again. Maybe the next model will have those features.

These boots are very comfy, and with a wide fit. They are great for walking long distances, and gardening work. Make sure to dry them and keep them clear of mud. The siding materials, as many others have commented, are not durable...leading to splitting between the siding and the sole, which is a shame. It could be better as leather?

So far, these are the best boots I have ever owned (aside from my hand made Son of Sandlar Ren fest boots, but those were $420) I use these to hike, camp, backpack. Its Winter here in OR, so its muddy and rainy. Feet have never gotten wet, and washing the mud off is easy as pie. These are worth the hefty price tag.

So far, I am very impressed. These shoes provide good ankle support. Keen advertises these shoes as waterproof and they do not disappoint. I haven't had the opportunity to actually go through water, but I have trudged through 6"+ of snow and my feet have stayed dry. They are true to size and hug my feet well.
