I ordered these in a size 6 (I'm usually a size 5 but knew I would be wearing with thicker 'walking' socks), and they fit very well. I'm glad I went for the 'mid' rather than 'lower', more shoe/trainer style, as the ankle support is essential on uneven ground & different types of terrain.I'm not a hiker/walker as such, but wanted these for when I go birdwatching etc. I haven't yet had the chance (misfortune?!) to test in wet conditions, but am unlikely to go birdwatching in a downpour, so these fit my needs perfectly. So pleased with fit & comfort that I've bought another pair! my husband had the equivalent style in the mens design ' again , I ordered a size up.

Really good boots for the price. Robust in all kinds of weather. Suitable for rugged hill walking and lengthy dog walks. Waterproof and comfortable. Not too heavy. Would have given a 5th star if I my previous walking boots hadn't felt like slippers to wear, although to be fair, they were a more expensive boot. Like these a lot, though.two years on, still loving these boots 2019

Just arrived and they are packaged nicely, no waste there. They look good quality, love the colour and they fit so well nice and snug with room for good socks, can't wait to try them out on a good long dog walk...watch this space! Well, I still think the same, except that they are quiet stiff round the top of the boots, but the feeling wears off after a while...

I read the other reviews but decided to stick with a size 6 rather than 6.5 as suggested. They fit perfectly and have been comfortable from day 1. I love the colour and have sprayed them with water proofer so will have to see how they fair when it next rains. Great boots, good value for money, comfy and sturdy.

Great quality boots. Water proof and extremely comfortable.Did not have to walk them, fit my feet straight away and never leave me blisters.Very happy with the colour, quality, price and features.

The size is normal and fits perfectly. The shoes look really good and are super processed, I am looking forward to the upcoming hiking tour in Switzerland with the new companions!

Partner ordered size 5 and size 5.5 both were ok but 5.5 was more comfortable. The boots are comfortable and light weight, Cant comment on water proofness as yet but nice quality

Good quality but very tight around the toe and ankle They are going to take a long time to wear in but will be worthwhile.

Beautiful boots very well finished and very confortable. I love my purchase. I hope to use them a lot during the winter.
