These Wolfskin hiking shoes are attractive and comfortable enough for everyday wear. I wore them to work to break them in and everyone thought they were running shoes. The only indication that they are for hiking is the thick, sturdy sole. The shoe itself runs true to size with a touch extra room for thick socks. I like the wide toe box too which gives extra room for those with budding bunions. I do wish it had a little more arch support, but I added an insert to help with that. I also had an issue in the beginning with the collar and tongue rubbing against my ankle, but after a few minutes the shoe seemed to conform to my foot and the rubbing went away.So very nice hiking shoe.

I wanted some lightweight walking shoes that didn't have over the top patterns and bright colours. These are ideal. They have waterproof liners and are breathable so are comfortable whatever the weather. The sole is nice and grippy and the heel and tongue are in the right place so they don't rub on the front or back of the ankle when you walk. They are well padded so they do make my feet look bigger than normal, but they are very comfortable. The fit is on the roomy side so no need to go a size larger to allow for thick socks.

I love the quality of the shoe and the sole. It's a very sturdy shoe and is just a bit larger so that I can wear heavy socks for hiking. I had a hip replacement and finding hiking shoes with a good sole and arch support is important, as I have to have one shoe built up to equal the difference in leg length. It is also essential that the structure is solid to prevent my ankle from twisting. This shoe is excellent.

The sizing of the hiking shoe is accurate but the fit is narrow - I have broad feet so I had to use shoes stretchers to get them to a suitable size. They are definitely NOT waterproof - I only walked through wet grass and they got soaked through straight away. The laces also seem to loosen easily, maybe because the eyelets are ribbon - I found that ordinary shoe laces did a better job.

These are the real deal. This is the shoe you want if you are serious about the outdoors. Meant for rough terrain, muck and mud. These shoes can turn you into a mountain goat! They are slightly roomy in the toe, but not so much that I would consider these to run big, more like they are good for wearing with thick socks. Can't wait to try these with my waterproof socks!

These seem very well made and would make very sturdy hiking shoes for rough terrain. However, (and despite the 7.5 I ordered fitting well) they look absolutely enormous on my feet, like clown’s shoes, so I returned them. My hunt for a slightly daintier looking walking shoe for urban use continues...

Slightly on the big side, even with thick socks on but these are so comfortable. I’ve worn them a few times in snow and rain fully expecting them to give me blisters until I’d worn them in but haven’t had any. I’m very impressed- these were on offer so great value for money

These hiking shoes are attractive, sturdy, and well-made. They are relatively comfortable. I love the blue color! I like that they are waterproof for all-weather wear. They fit as expected.

Super comfy. I wear them with heavy socks for hiking.The tread is great for dirt, snow, and ice. Very well constructed. great arch support.great ankle support,

Very comfortable and well made. Very waterproof. I take a size 6 but chose 6.5 to allow for a thicker sock. Very pleased with these.

I was able to wear these without discomfort straight away, they are really comfortable.Make my feet look enormous, but recommended.
