Bought to replace another brand of lightweight boots that were no longer waterproof. Aiming for the c.£50 price point as I wanted sensible but not too expensive.Mine are used for dog walking and other non-heavy duty outdoor stuff like beach walking (not a mountain in sight).I have slightly wide feet and as others have commented, they can squeeze a little across the top of the foot/tongue area. Tweaking the laces in that area seemed to help and they've been fine since.Don't need breaking in as such and they are comfy for 3-4 hours on your feet (the longest I've worn them). So far they've been waterproof but they've not been tested fully.Grip levels are good and I've not had any reason to think

It was my first time ever to buy shoes online. I never do that because same sizes differ and all together shoes fit or not, they are comfortable or nor, so I must put them on before purchase. In this case I took a risk and ... luckily they fit very well. In addition, later on while wearing them I found out they are very comfortable too in any terrain. Also, they are indeed water proof and having only single but warm pair of socks, they have proven to be warm as well.I was walking in them on the ice and crossing places where I had to get across flow of icy water. By the end of the day, my feet were dry, comfortable, warm and happy. So, I can highly recommend them but please consider taking one size bigger then your normal one,

These are solid boots, well made and they look it. I normally wear 11 EE but these came in 11 D. They aren't too tight and I could wear these but there is not that much cushion/softness inside and they feel a bit rough to me. I always wear thin socks but with thicker socks I wouldn't be able to wear this size. But you shouldn't have to rely on socks for cushion. I also don't care how they ride on my ankle. They are hard to tighten up at the ankles but what little they do they still rub on my ankles before I've hit the trail. A perfect boot to me is one I won't even notice I'm wearing.Overall, well made and solid pair of boots but not as comfortable as other boots I have.

We've heard of the brand but have never tried it, so we were excited to finally own a pair of Jack Wolfskin. We were not let down!My fiance typically wears a size 10.5 which is what we went with in these, and the size was perfect. His foot doesn't slide around and he still has room for a thicker sock.These are quality boots that are attractive as well. My fiance wore these on our last hiking/camping trip and they never became uncomfortable (he suffers from plantar fasciitis and these gave him the support he needed!).We are definitely impressed!

There’s a lot of negative reviews about those boots however I found them to be excellent in construction souls are good grip is excellent I do need some bedding in as they are slightly cardboard like which has been mentioned before however they were worth the money as with everything made in China just be careful on the size nines or nine which is what I purchased and they fit perfectly bit snug but allow room for wear And they will fit great excellent product can’t complain just wish Britain my boots like these

The fit is correct for my size. I normally take a size 9.5 (UK) shoe so that's what I ordered and they are a great fit. I also ordered the socks that came up on Amazon as a suggestion, and they are also very comfy. I have just walked and jogged up a hill on moorland near my home and the boots feel great! So I would agree with other reviewers these are well worth the money. Its dry currently so I can't vouch for waterproof claims.

Tested these out on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge. Definitely not the comfiest of shoes but they survived in various conditions and kept my feet warm and dry.Even with insoles they aren’t to comfy so bare that in mind if your planning on using these for long distance walks.

Felt a bit snug at first, but love them now. I've had them about 5 months I think. Cleaned them and proofed them and I'm still not getting wet feet walking the dog in this weather. I do about 5+ miles a day with my Spinone and they are just showing signs of use across the toes.

These Hack Wolfskin walking/hiking boots are awesome! They arrived quickly and well packaged. They are exactly as described and super comfortable! The insoles offer support and comfort. The outside is attractive yet functional! The treads are awesome great for hiking!

I am neve sure if a shoe/boot will fit, to allow my big toes movement, a touch (lots) of ingrowing big toe nail trouble. some size 6 are loose fit, so I went for a 7, fits well round the foot, with enough toe room for me. Good sole tread, and water proof.Will do me.

Comfortable fit, though slightly big if you have skinny legs like me. Walked all around New Zealand for 3 weeks, including some long 6 hour hikes, boots were comfortable and breathable throughout. Sprayed my own waterproof spray on them before use and so far dry!

From the box to the foot and out into the rain. Kept feet dry and are relatively comfortable, just need to get the lace tension sorted. Very true fitting, so suggest if you want to put thick socks on go up a half a size. Other wise they are great.

I liked the fact that they are waterproof as I washed the car with them on using a hose. Also they were really comfortable, a big improvement on the last ones. Good boots for leisure walks in bad weather - happy with purchase.

Excellent waterproof boots. I bought mine for standing in the rain on muddy fields watching my son play football. I highly recommend these. They are warm, dry and comfortable with strong ankle support and great grip.

Having previously purchased a pair of walking shoes I took the step of buying these for winter purposes and walking the dog. Great buy and well pleased at this time. Longevity of product remains to be seen.
