Hi,I love this jacket and Hurtta makes the best quality dog products that I have found. The only improvement to this product would be to add a bit more fabric/ velcro under the belly. I have a small dog girth = 14.5 and weight 6.5 pounds. Based on the sizing chart I got her the 0-10 pound size; which I think is correct size for her. It is just the fabric is a bit short under the belly. I can barely attach the velco under her belly but it works and with the buckles she is completely safe.Maybe this is just the way it is designed to fit her since she would be on the larger end of this size.anyhow - its great and love the color - can't wait to take her to the river.

This safety jacket is well made, and the handle is very useful. We bought this for our 11 years old Bouvier des Flandres (95 lbs) which swim like a rock. We were going for one week near a nice lake, so we decided that we will come for swims with us.It work, this Life jacket help him to built is confidence and finally was going by him self at the end.Well built, Sturdy material, keeps head above water, support behind. Perfect fit. Nothing bad to say about this life jacket.

Well made, but the XL just barely fits around my dogs chest. I am going to modify the Velcro and make it work because it fits better than any other life jacket I have found. I have a Great Dane 148 pounds chest measures 39.5” at the largest point. When laid flat the life jacket measure 45 inches, but there is not enough length for the Velcro to overlap and securely fasten. I plan to take it to an alterations shop to modify for my big boy.
