This is a great dog coat.The packaging was great, it came with a hanger. On the packaging was lots of instructions. So if you were thinking of a present for someone know it comes very well.The coat, I got a medium for my Westie who is just under 9kg, to be fair it would also fit upwards of a few kg.It's not at all loose, as the fastenings are nice and secure.The colour is great, a nice deep rich red tarten. It's very classy & smart.It's nice and warm, lovely soft matetial on the inside against the dogs skin.I am so impressed as to the quality for the money I paid. It really does look a lot more expensive, had I bought it from a shop, I know I would have been paying at least double.The edges of the coat are reflective,

Gorgeous coat, my Chihuahua (Deer head) got a size small and it fits perfectly. It keeps her warm even in this cold we have had in the UK recently (-3C) thankfully as Chi's get a little cold!The fabric looks great and it wipes down easy, but because the coat has pieces sewn onto it for the velcro straps etc it can cause dirt to get caught and it's a little harder to wipe clean.Finally it has 2 elastic pieces you are supposed to wrap around your dog's legs to keep the coat stable, but I have just cut them off and make sure the velcro wrap around the stomach is tight enough and it doesn't seem to move; so don't worry too much about them straps if you don't want to use them!

I was a bit hesitant as it was on the expensive side and I anticipated delays as it seems to ship out from the UK. In fact the coat arrived to us in the USA within a week but S turned out to be too short for his body. Returns were easy, to a US address, and a larger size (M) arrived without hassle within the week, and fit perfectly. This coat is beautifully made, fits well and looks very smart on my bichon mix. It is warm but not excessively so. The fit is flexible enough to accommodate a sweater underneath if more warmth were needed (he's been walking happily in sub freezing conditions without one). I especially like that it is showerproof, as my dog is not.

Bought this as a Christmas present for a very special friend Sparkey and he was so pleased he sent a letter back on Boxing Day saying how well he looked in his new coat and how many compliments he'd had wearing it! I had a peak before parcelling and thought it rather splendid, too. I was a little worried about sending for a medium as Sparkey had put on some weight lately and is currently on a strict diet - but a very knowledgeable pet owner pointed out that Westies don't like to wear anything that constricts their tails, so better stick with the medium rather than go up a size - and that's what I did. So pleased I wouldn't mind wearing it myself!!

I ordered this coat for my mixed westie/poodle after not being able to find a red plaid in stores. I was a little worried how it would fit. It fits him almost perfectly, with the velcro around his neck and belly giving enough room for adjustment. The fabric is of good quality and looks like wool, though it isn't. The cotton lining is soft and keeps him warm in this brutal weather we've been having. The only minor problem is that I wish the elastic that goes around his back legs was a bit longer, but I'm sure it will stretch as he wears it more. The coat was delivered much sooner than expected, which was a bonus. My little laddie looks adorable!

So after reading some other reviews and noting that a considerable amount of people were saying it was small made i decided to follow some of the advice given and ordered a large for my westie, However this was WAY too big,But because it is such a good quality coat i am now going to order a medium for him and just hope it fit's i fear it may be a little big too but better safe than sorry :) so just take care when ordering, i suggest you read the sizing guide and actually measure your dog before buying, But as i said it is an extremely high quality coat especially for the price so i highly recommend just be careful with selecting your size

Harvey loves his Tartan coat and has the matvching lead - just need to get the collar now and he will be totally co-ordinated. He looks beautiful (not that I am biased) and it is a fairly nice fit considering he is a Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund - it is very difficult to buy outfits for Dachshunds . He has quite a varied wardrobe of outfits and this one looks really nice. Muddy Paws please note - Dachshunds are very popular and it truly is hard to get coats that just have that little extra length in the bodies. I do love Muddy Paws items and they are very, very good on returns and replacing items.

I just received my Highland Tartan coat and I am Very pleased with my purchase! It arrived well packaged and appears very well made. Several reviewers were kind enough to mention the medium fits a West Highland Terrier Perfectly, so I will do the same. The medium is a fantastic fit on my male Westie and makes him look like the proudest little beast in all the land. I was surprised to notice they have added a Harness hole up behind the neck! It was not mentioned in the product description but It was a very welcome addition. Now my wee lad is properly dressed for fighting, drinking or just a hike. : )

I love the tartan, it really suits my 19 week old Cavapoo puppy. The small fits her well but won't last long. Nice velcro accross the front but has poppers for effect. Zip on top to attach lead through on to harness. Elasticated leg straps are adjustable with a small velcro fastening which is great. The fleece lining feels nice and warm. Haven't washed it yet so can't comment. Wish it was waterproof but hey you can't have everything. Only thing I would say is the tummy strap is far back, ok for my girl but unsure whether a boy may end up weeing on it! Very pleased though.

Ordered this for our Westie. The design is excellent as it has velcro around the front, and thus no need to pull over the dogs head. A previous coat he went mad with as it was pulled over his head..Velcro wrap around the body so its adjustable for body width.Does the job and he looks cute in it !!It would have got 5* but the round the body velcro could do with being just a little bit longer and it hangs just a little bit unless its just our dog thats skinny !!Great service on the delivery, arrived well ahead of date.Happy :0)

It is a lovely little coat, it’s cozy and so pretty, the only thing I would say is its it’s downfall is that it does twist round a little whilst my dog is walking or running and I have to re adjust her (not a big deal really though) I know there are elastic leg loops which would stop this but I don’t like to use them as I don’t want to make my girl uncomfortable. I’m still very pleased with my purchase and would Recomend. My dog is a female 4 year old bordercollie she is a dinky tot but for a size estimate she is a size large

Am really pleased with this tartan coat. It is very well made and feels like it will be nice and warm. It also looks SO cute. I ordered a size S for my yorkie who weighs 3.9 kilos and it fits him really well everywhere. The only thing negative about this is I would say the strap round the middle is quite far down the back, so I hope he doesn't wet it everytime he has a pee or that it catches on his little tinkle! If it does I will have to unpick it and move it up a little. Would definitely buy again from this seller.

i have a cairn terrier, aged 2.5. average weight. this medium coat was a perfect fit. it is easy to put on. looks smart. lightweight and my dog is happy and has extra warmth in the autumn windy weather. not tried in the showers yet. i am that pleased i wish i had ordered two. it looks easy to wash and will dry quickly. i feel posh walking my cairn who has recently had a trim and tidy for xmas. the product was delivered swiftly. i good purchase and would recommend. would be nice if we could buy different colours.

DOG LOOKS ADORABLE and COSYI thought I would get the wrong size as I guessed but it was bang on. The dog found the elastics that go around the back legs a bit weird at first and pranced around like he was trying to get over a fence with his back legs for about 20 minutes but then he got used to it. Within two days he was lying down so you could put it on him for walks without training.... so i presume that means he likes it?Fit was perfect. Delivery was prompt. Was in great condition. No complaints.

I have a king Charles spaniel and it fits just right the straps are a good lenth so it fits just right with the Velcro it stops about 2"s from his tail which is no problem plus my dog looks very posh in his scotish coat and its keeps my dog lovely and warm this is the third coat I have bought from muddy paws so I recommend these coats when I sized my dog up I measured from his shoulders to his tail then looked at the sizes shown then picked the nearest one I have one happy dog hope this helps
