I have four Scottish Terriers who were generously leaving about 10" on my sofa so I made the decision to buy them a bed eat, I have now bought two Scruffs Highland dog beds and two other beds from a different company and has worked inasmuch as I can now relax on the sofa apart from the odd renegade - generally the youngest - insisting I share my sofa. However as the months have passed and the beds have been used and washed several times I have noticed how my four sweetie pies are favouring the two Scruff beds rather than the ones made by another company. At this very moment I have the youngest dog on my foot and another in one Scruffs bed with another two dogs in the spare Scruffs bed.

This blue tartan dog bed is soft and well padded everywhere except right in the middle of the bed where the top and bottom covers have a stitched link which makes that centre necessarily devoid of any padding. I understand the desire to stop the stuffing moving around but this design choice seems to me to be poor for what is essentially a “bed”, it is like having a hole in the middle of a mattress.Having said that it generally well made, good looking, light weight and soft. We have dealt with the thin bed by adding a blanket underneath the whole bed and by adding a cushion inside.

Beautiful bed that is definitely comfy for our cavapoo puppy (he loves to both sleep and dig in it). We got it expecting him to destroy it and so far so good, it has been three weeks. He has done a little number on the fabric with his sharp claws but would’ve expected the bed to be destroyed by now. It washes well and retains its shape, although it does mean he doesn’t have his bed for one night while it dries. The one negative is that I very recently noticed him chewing on some green filling although i couldn’t find a hole but that does still worry me!

Good product, does what it is supposed to do. Easy to wash too, regardless if it goes out of shape slightly. The reviews that are saying it goes out of shape and it's no longer comfortable, I struggle to see how anyone can say this unless they have slept in it. Our dogs gets himself into some very uncomfortable looking positions but he likes it so who am I too judge what's comfy for him. Anyways it's a good well made sturdy bed. As the saying goes buy cheap buy twice. This was our 2and bed as the cheaper first one got destroyed by our border terrier.

This is a lovely bed but smaller than I expected. I did check the measurements, but this is the outer size. The sides are quite thick, although soft and this reduces the actual sleeping area of the bed. I had originally purchased this in Large for my small Labrador but it is too small for her. My Scottie loves it and had to get the x-Large for the Lab. They do look cute in matching beds. Shame the cushion cannot be removed for washing. I had to buy additional pads to go into the beds to save having to wash the whole thing all the time.

Well, speaking on behalf of our Springer Spaniel it is warm and comfortable, woof woof, wag wag. From a human perspective: it is about perfectly Springer size and apparently machine washable. Since the doggy insists on being in close proximity to her humans, this bed looks considerably more elegant in our living room than the hideous plastic basket, that it has replaced. It is early days, but it appears to be robust and well made and is currently occupied by a snoring and very content Spaniel.

After posting questions about whether it is big enough for saluki/greyhound cross just wanted to let people know it has come and seems very nice and solidly made although as yet he won't get in it! However even my borzoi who is much bigger than him can curl up in it (just!) so I'm sure he can fit and will soon be doing the same. I had thought btw the cushion was loose as in some other beds but it is attached which is probably good as otherwise they push it aside.

I have one Ragdoll cat and two Japanese Spitz dogs. They have a choice of four beds with three additional one's for cat. Dogs do not climb !! TheScruffs Highland Dog Bed figures high on their list for choice. Good product purchased at a good price. Bed did come up smaller than I had thought. Size wise second from smallest but even so good quality and with a bit of a squeeze largest dog can make his self comfortable in it. He does look really cosy.

Nice looking bed , and my dog is very happy to sleep in it but definitely not made for large dogs . I have a cockerpoo and bought the large which just fits him nicely . When it says washable it actually means you have to put the whole bed in the wash , there are no covers to zip off which is a little annoying but it’s not an expensive bed so will just buy another one .

The dog seems to like his bed and rests his head on the soft edges like a pillow. He clambers in and snoozes away for hours. ? Its not too bad for keeping clean and looked quite smart when new but the dog has sort of splurged it out of shape slightly. He likes to keep his toys in it and has his slobbery chews in it instead of it going all over the settee.

My dog loves this bed, I love this bed.It’s an ideal size for a cockapoo, and he’s extremely happy sleeping in it.It also looks smart and well made. It has coped with my dog ‘digging’ in it, without any damage. He also chews at the edges, but so far it’s stood up to everything he can throw at it (3 months of hard use so far).Thoroughly recommended.

Our dog has been very fussy in the past when it comes to dog beds. Most beds ended when she chewed through them with the most expensive lasting an amazing 12 hours! But not this one. This has now lasted at least 6 months and the dog loves it. Will order this again when a replacement is needed.

My dogs love this bed. If your dogs will sleep together and are medium sized the xl is great. It fits into the washing machine easily and dries quickly. The bed bace cushion is stitched in so if you have a "scratcher" they can not too the bace up. I would recommend this dog bed.

I bought these as a second bed for the kitchen so that our greyhounds can relax while we cook and eat dinner. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and the dogs love their new beds, they either curl up or sprawl and are comfy whichever way they sleep. Would definitely recommend.

This bed is so well made. I used it for my elderly dog who wore diapers. Needless to say this bed was washed daily and still came out looking fabulous every time. It's one piece so it is so easy to wash and it's really roomy. Would definitely recommend. I bought two.
