I bought this as my cat requires 8 weeks' cage rest following leg surgery and I wanted something soft with low sides that she didn't need to step in/out of which would fit in the cage.I was wary of the price at just under £8 but as my cat is very fussy I didn't want to spend a fortune on a bed for her to reject it - I have a graveyard of expensive rejected cat beds! I was also told by the vet to expect toilet accidents at first too so no point spending lots of fancy beds.When I opended the package I was very disappointed as I thought it was quite cheap quality, material was sort of soft (but not fluffy soft) and didn't look very comfortable as the base has no padding under the fabric so is quite hard once placed on hard surface.

In addition to this Trixie bed, I also bought the Mikki luxury travel bed. Before they arrived, I thought for sure that our two cats would prefer the slightly more expensive and certainly more plush Mikki bed, but it's this little robust Trixie bed that they fight over. It washes better than the Mikki and the heavy nylon canvas bottom makes it suitable for outdoor use, as well (great for the cattery when we went on holiday). The smaller of our two cats (a standard British shorthair moggie) enjoys stretching out in the Trixie bed, and our larger cat (who definitely has a lot of maine coon in him) feels right at home.The only thing that could make this bed better is if it came in different colours,

purchased a bed each for my 2 very old cats 19 & 18 years for their imminent 2 wk trip to the cattery……bearing in mind over the years i have spent a small fortune on pet beds, some of which both point blank refused to even go near! this is the most surprising bit my 19 yr old tabby, who is very fussy, got straight in it and now rarely leaves it unless to eat or to have a wander. The beds are cosy which is why mine love them so much ,agreed they don't look much but don't go by appearances CATS LOVE THEM WELL DONE TRIXIE. PERSONALLY i think they could be improved by making them more plush…..maybe a faux sheepskin inner however i solved that buy putting in a small piece of fleece.

but we had to send them back because we had bought too many cat beds! We bought too many beds as we were unsure which ones would be satisfactory. With this particular cat bed, though, we were not allowed to buy one only, we had to buy two. However, I've given five stars because there was no problem when we returned them and I got my money back, minus postage. Delivery was free so I guess it was only fair that we had to pay return postage. We won't be buying these beds in the future though as we also ordered an amazon basics pet bed which is much thicker and comfier and our cat loved it so we didn't even bother showing her these beds before returning them.

So I built my cat a new home for when she is chilling out in the garden and to save her from the rain. Her previous one was a little run down. So I buy this little cushion for her to relax on. Set the whole thing up and watched her sniff my new creation and go sit on a friggin old flattened box. Now the most honest review I can give is I haven't sat in it my self but it seems pretty good. The inner base could do with being a bit thicker but I just put an extra pillow below it. Nevertheless for the cost its decent. Dont know what my cats problem is.

Our cats who have always been disinterested in pet specific beds (prefering the sofa arms or cushions) have gone mad for these. We started out with one and now have five dotted around the house. It suits us fine as the bulk of the cat hair is contained to the beds, which are also small enough to be easily put away somewhere if you need to reclaim some space.Our cats range in size from 3kg - 6kg and all fit in these beds fine.For £9 a bed (or £5 in a lightning deal a couple of weeks ago) these are fantastic value.

Bought for my little cat and she was not interested but the other cat who hates beds in general loves it so this one is very dependent on the cat and most will prefer the box it comes in. Soft but bigger than I was expecting (the cat that liked this is bigger boned shall we say) the bottom not to padded but for the price I would recommend. This not the use I planned for it but happy my larger cat has a bed she will sleep in now so if you have a medium to large cat Gerry good value.

This is a really good compact cat bed for our medium size cat to curl up in. She likes to paw / claw the edges when she's being stroked and it's not showing wear yet (6 mths in) she fits in it quite snuggly which she seems to like and it has a waterproof base, which is pretty good when she is damp from rain, i happily have it on our leather sofa. Only downside is that it's white inside shows up the dirt quite badly, otherwise a good buy.

I bought this for my cat after having previously owned an identical one that I got from a pet store. I was disappointed when it arrived because although the price was identical the quality was not. The outer edges were not nearly stuffed enough to make it nice and firm and for it to keep its shape. And the sewing was a bit crudely done.The cat wanted to give it five stars. She likes it. But I've taken off a star for quality.

My cats love these, I bought two and they are never off them. It means I can leave heating off when we are out and I don't feel guilty eve in the coldest weather. I wish they were not red underneath but had a more neutral colour though. Black or grey or brownish would be better. I wash mine a lot cos my cats are always in muddy fields, they wash brilliantly and dry on a radiator in a out 30 mins. Very durable.

Arrived quickly and good quality. Feels comfy and seems like would be a doddle to clean. Cats love sleeping...next to it. Haven't yet figured out a way to convince them to sleep on the actual beds. Scattering Dreamies like rose petals leading to and on the beds didn't help. My cats are woke af so catnip also doesn't work on them, sadly. But I digress.Good beds. Would recommend if your cats and weird.

I didnt think much of it when it arrived as it was low in height. Well, what do I know. I have 3 cats and they all love it. So much so I have had to buy 2 more so they now have one each! Its also a nice size to leave on the settee so they sleep in the bed rather than leaving the settee covered in pet hair. It washes well and doesnt take long to dry. There is something about it which the cats love.

OK, our cat is a big boy, but I thought I would show the scale of this as I was surprised when I opened the box. Al loves his bed, but he is hard pressed to curl up into it, so he puts a bit of himself in. Great value for two beds, a little more suitable for the ‘daintier’ animal. Not the legendary hench ‘Fox Beater’ of Surrey! :0)

Fits perfectly into my cats transport-box, previously I would just put a towel on the floor, but it made the cat slide whenever the car took a sharp turn. This one stays in place and it feels very comfortable as well. The big edges are also good as they prevent the cat bed from turning into an odd shape.

Good value for money. It is very lightweight and both my cats love it. The cat bed is reversible as well and easy to wash too which is a real bonus as some cat beds take longer to dry.This also fits in their carry case so when taking them to the vets this is handy. I would recommend this product.
