Got this bed recently so unable to comment on how well it washes so only four stars just now. The bed looks very comfortable and I'm sure my dog will agree as she went into it as soon as it touched the floor. The base is made with a layer of memory foam with a pad underneath it. Looking at the picture of the bed the sides look firm but they are quite soft and allows my dog to use the edging as a pillow. The edging does not have memory foam but that is not an issue for me or my dog. The washing instructions are not very clear in that it does not say to remove the inner pad however if you use common sense and see that the base has a zip then logically the padding comes out.So far I would recommend this bed for your dog.UPDATE- washed the bed this morning no dye came out,

This item was as expected and arrived early. Washing instructions could have been a bit clearer as they didn't say that the inner memory foam and pad needed to be taken out before washing. Luckily I checked with the manufacturers and they confirmed that these need to be removed prior to washing.Washed very well and came out as new.Only little gripe I have is that the bed was put in a ripped plastic bag open at both ends and delivered to a neighbour. When I collected this it was pouring with rain so its a good job that It had not picked up any dirt in the delivery van otherwise this would have got stained .It should have been in a sealed bag

This is one of the comfiest looking dog beds I've ever seen or bought. I got this for my 10 year old Westie and it's very big. I could fit probably another two Coopers in with him and he's not a small Westie.It's big, a great colour, well padded and hasn't lost its shape since I got it three weeks ago.You can also unzip the cover to wash the whole thing, and it's waterproof underneath.Would recommend this bed to everyone and anyone with an older dog or if you just want to treat the dog you have.

This bed is really plushy and soft, I wanted to curl up inside it myself. It has some kind of memory foam inside, like a human bed. Exceptionally comfortable and my dog loves it.The only issue is that the mattress part is not separate so it's not really going to be washed weekly as you can do with those which have a separate interior cusion. I'm concerned at how long it's going to take to dry, especially in winter.

I liked the bed and looks comfortable.My dog is taking her time getting use to the bed.I think she will like it more in the winter as it's very fleece.She is an elderly cocker spaniel, so bought it for comfort.I think I could get away with a smaller size as I could also getA smaller dog in this size bed.So measure your dog, it's size is for a medium to large dog.I would recommend.Have not washed cover yet.

Beautiful beds - purchased two for my little ones - excellent quality and super soft. Purchased a bed previously from Rosewood which the little ones have now grown out of, and want their own space just like teenagers. These beds have ticked every box for them. They love them and once in they do not want to get out of them. Very comfortable, and a great size. Thanks Rosewood, two happy dogs make a happy owner :))

I have 2 of these beds, small & large, both are great, small one is just bigger enough for my westie, even though my beagle squeezes into it, & the large one was bought for my beagle, both dogs love them, I LOVE the fact that the dog hairs dont stick to the outside of the bottom of the bed, its always hair free , all the other beds the dog hairs collected on the bottom, I really recommend these beds, BRILLIANT.

Needed a dog bed where the cushion is not removable as my dog twists and turns so much he pulls it out of the bed. This doesn’t have a cushion that he can pull out. Seems really firm and comfortable, a little bit snug but my shah pei really seems to like it. He’s 13 now so I am sure it’s doing his old bones some good. It was expensive at the price but he’s worth the extra. Love the red colour.

My dog loves this. It's comfy and supportive. He's a little dog and he still finds it easy to get in and out. He is cat sized and has plenty of room to lie on his side or if he's cold he snuggles up to the bolsters (which he also likes resting his head on). All in all a great buy and similar quality to other much more expensive beds we looked at before settling on this one.

I love this bed!! And so does the pug!! Arrived the next day and was packaged really well in a big box meaning it wasn’t squashed or misshapen. The outer part of the bed is a lovely vibrant red colour and the inner part is soooooo soft and warm! The ‘mattress’ is of a really good quality, feels sturdy and similar to memory foam. So far, so good! Highly recommend this bed!

For a dog that’s refuse to use a dog bed for 11 years, I didn’t hold out much hope. Surprised and delighted that she almost hasn’t moved out of it for days :D Second one ordered for upstairs.She is a 6kg terrier, approx 30’’ long and this size gives her loads of room. Super soft upper and the wall isn’t too high that she can’t hop in when her legs are a little wobbly.

Bought two of these for my bichon frise dogs they are both getting old now, suffer from arthritis and absolutely love these beds. Since I bought them about a month ago my boys have not wanted to get out of them even to go for a walk! I would recommend these to anybody with old or young dogs that like a very comfortable and supportive bed.

My older dogs love these beds, very well padded with memory foam to, which has a zipped section so you can take it out to wash the cover, would definitely recommend, my dogs are small Maltese & Yorkie breeds & I brought the smaller size which has more than plenty of room, I would say a up to a medium would fit nicely in this size.

Bought this for our whippet x whilst she is recovering from a serious illness. She finds it very comfortable, it both cushions her joints and leaves her room to stretch out. The quality is better than expected, I imagine it will last a long time. We’ve found it’s also a good fit for the back of the car so she can travel in comfort.

I have to say the dog loves this bed. She spends a lot of time in it as an older dog and is clearly very comfortable in it. I have to say that the only draw back is that although it is washable the sides cannot be removed and I do feel that over time it will start to sag but time and will tell. Overall I am very happy with it.
