Probably *too much* gear. It can get a bit overwhelming trying to pick through it all.I'm not knocking this one. For the price, it does what it does. But, I've paid probably a tenner more and got a far more padded and comfortable cushion.This more a Cover, with a padded trim. Main centre is pretty thin, offering no substantial comfort for the Dog. Thus, mine tend to gather the edges up to try and make a cushion of them.Dunno why I chose it. Can't remember. Maybe it was the wrong end of a pricey month?Is it noticeably " Water Resistant " ('Water Resitant', to Dog Beds about = 'The cheque's in the post') I've actually found Less water resistant ones.Would I buy another? No way! I'll look harder.

This fitted perfectly in the dog crate and is heavy weight enough that it is not easily dragged out by my dog who insists that her bedding also belongs outside her crate and all over the floor! I also like the fact that the material was thick and strong and the bottom of the mattress has little rubber spots to stop it sliding about everywhere. It also washes well and maintains its shape.

I bought this for my rabbit to sleep on during recovery after surgery, as she won't be able to lie on wood shavings. I haven't yet used it, however it does seem quite well made. I was mistaken about the shape because it looked square in the photo, and advertised at 22inches but actually measures 21 ins x 17 ins. The larger size would have been better but I think it will still be useful.

Fantastic mattress. When my dog comes back wet from his walk I get him to stay on the mattress as it is waterproof. Saves the carpets getting damp and smelling of damp dog. I have it in the back of the car for him after being at the beach. Sand just brushes off so easily.The mattress arrived in good time and was packaged well, would recommend seller

I've now bought 3 of these and use them both in the crate and also as a bed in the sitting room. Great to have the padded edge as when used as a bed outside of the crate, it gives the dog a perimeter (as well as something to rest his chin on!) and a great fit when used within the crate. The dog loves it and so do I!

Strong water resistant fabric perfect for a wet dog to lie on in the back of the car. I always put a couple of towels over the bed as cushioning as the padding is quite thin - necessary or it would become waterlogged in winter and never dry out. Second bed I have bought as I was so pleased with the first one.

A very robust construction which has proved its waterproof characteristics on more than one occasion with puppy "accidents" and St Bernard drool!Its thick enough to be comfy and the material has been good in the warm summer as it gives a cooling effect for our dogs lying on it.

This fits the Ellie-Bo dog crate almost perfectly and we line it with a machine washable medi-fleece for extra comfort. He loves his new bed and often sits outside the closed crate door, asking to be let in for a snuggly snooze.Only complaint: the colour is dull, dull, dull!

Third dog bed I've tried. First one my pup has just laid on, rather than trying to eat. I guess it's less like his toys since it's not fluffy. That said, I'll give it time and update my review if he pulls it apart in the next month or three. Quality seems good, etc.

Really good quality crate mattress!We use it for the car crate and it fits well and is perfect for those rainy/muddy walks!My lab likes the ledge for her to rest her head on/cuddle up against too which is a plus point too!Lovely colour too!

Use this only for dog crate in car. Dog sheds lots of hair and stick to anything I put in crate. The hairs just shake off this mattress and can be wiped over with a damp cloth. Would recommend to anyone whose cat or dog sheds.

I may have ordered wrong size as it doesn't quite fit the cage I bought but that would be my mistake so can't moan. The cushion is very easy to wipe down and seems comfy enough certainly had no complaints from Betty chihuahua.

Purchased an under the desk bed for my doggy. Material is waterproof and shakes off any muddy paw prints quickly and easily. The bed is quite thick and nice and spongy but not so thick that it looses its shape etc.

Brilliant, it repels all dirt and water marks, and a good size for my King Charles dog, if anything it could possibly do with a bit more padding, but maybe that's just me thinking of extra comfort :-)

I bought this to go in the dog crate I have in my car. As I run at a local woods, my cocker spaniel gets very muddy and wet so this mattress is superb for this. Would definitely buy again!
