I bought this towards the end of June this year after one of my two litter trays was dropped and shattered. I was looking for a tray with high sides as one of my cats just loves to dig in the litter and throws it everywhere. It is a very big tray and I wasn't too enthusiastic about it but the three girls seemed to like it. A couple of months ago I noticed a strong smell which is unusual as the litter I use controls odour very well. When I lifted the tray from the big plastic box lid it was standing on (fortunately!) I found a large brown smelly puddle and thought maybe one girl had managed to wee over the side. Since then the same thing has happened a number of times and I finally worked out that the tray was leaking from the centre.

Having just aquired a huge bruiser of a rescue moggie who apparently routinely kicked over his standard type double depth litter tray at the RSPCA kennels I was delighted to find this item on Amazon. Great price, a lovely company to deal with and the item even arrived before the moggie in question did, so from Day 1 he was clean and happy, no chance of turning this one over,as it is nice and deep- also no "pebble dashing" as the back is higher than the front. No problems at all with the different design and depth for him at all, even our older cat could have managed it, and I think a kitten would be agile enough to manage to access the front lip easily and would "grow into it"Also very good

I received this today, what an improvement on most cat trays. I had a bit of trouble fastening the catches in order to afix the top section to the bottom. The fit is not perfect so this needs to be done by someone who is dextrous and has some strength to hold the parts together while getting the clips to work. This design fault is my reason for giving 4 stars, but I would prefer to give 4.5.My cat is a big cat and I have always had problems with her being too big for the cat trays that you get in most high street shops and supermarkets. This is larger over all dimensions and she fits into it easily. Also, with the deep sides, on her first attempt she has not succeeded in kicking cat lit all over the floor - yeah!!

Having spent many years of dealing with a cat who has turned mis-hits into an art form, we are really pleased with this product. Our cat always seemed to prefer to lean up against the edge of trays, invariably causing leakage over the side and onto the floor. The Cleany Cat litter tray is very deep with a curving lip, higher at the back and sloping down towards the front. The "lip" clips off for emptying litter/cleaning etc. The plastic spring clips can be a little awkward to fasten, and care has to be taken to position the lid correctly on the base, but this is a minor criticism.I would totally recommend this product. Our cat is quite small and has to step high to get into the tray,

A lot bigger than I imagined It to be even though I knew the measurements! However that is good thing! Having said that it would be too high for a very young kitten.The high sides means there have been no accidents outside of the tray (5 month old tom kitten lifted his bottom to pee on the odd occasion) all the litter remains in the tray and not scattered around the tray.Easy to clean, I do use litter tray liners so even quicker to clean out, and the click on rim holds the liner securely in place.It does hold more litter than a standard size tray but then I don’t have to top it up so often between each full change.All in all the perfect litter tray and I would not hesitate to recommend.

We bought this litter box to replace the Classic Cat Litter Tray from the same manufacturer which turned out to be too low. The sides of this tray are high enough to prevent our cats from peeing/pooing on or over the edge. At the same time, they they have no issues getting in and out. The tray is easy to clean (no problems with detaching and re-attaching the rim) and seems to be of good quality. As other reviewers pointed out, the tray's overall size is surprisingly large (the illustration is not a good measure to go by). It's worth being aware of this before ordering. It would be nice if the product was available in more subtle colours.

After opening the packaging I noticed that one of the "hinges" was not attached to the detachable frame that fixes to the top of the tray, I found it loose in the plastic wrapping. It was quite awkward to snap into place but got it done, however I decided to leave the top edging off the tray anyway as I found it a bit awkward to snap into place on top of the tray. Have had the tray for three days now. The tray is nice and deep and even though I have left the top frame off it still works very well containing litter that would normally flip over the top edge of the tray while the cat is using the tray. So, am pleased with the purchase.

I bought this item to be a digging box for my 2 bunnies. They started going through a stage of kicking their litter out of their litter trays which was driving me up the wall. So thought I would try & get a litter tray with higher sides & rim where they won't be able to kick it out & make a mess. They enjoy using it as a digging box & hardly any litter gets kicked out, just the odd bits sometimes. I'm just disappointed with the rim that comes with this litter box as it doesn't fit that well & the clips are always coming undone & aren't easy to clip back down again.

This is, by far, the best kitty tray I could find, given our two cats 'unique' needs - our older Siamese has very lovely long, supermodel legs, but also loves to back right up in the tray, meaning that he often unintentionally shats completely over the rim. Charming.But, with this? NO MORE!He christened it within minutes of setting it down, and I'm happy to report that the fruits of his rump remained well within the steep, glorious walls of the Sh@tting Sleigh.Only drawback is it's a tad flimsy, and the rim is a bit temperamental. But, my word, it works for us!

Best litter tray by far and I have brought quite a few !!! I have four of these now. High sides to limit the litter being kicked everywhere, easy to clean unlike the hooded ones which for some reason encouraged the cats to pee all up the back of it and then got trapped in the rim. I think all in all cats really don't like the closed in ones which is understandable there smell is so much better than ours and they trap the stink a lot (yeah I do clean them regularly) but still the odour dissipates much better with these, good and roomy too for larger cats

I already had one of these litter trays from another supplier, so knew what to expect. They are good value for money, sturdy and large enough for my 3 indoor Ragdoll cats. I ordered 3 in 2 separate orders and unfortunately 1 came without the rim and another had 1 of the black rubber feet missing from the bottom. This is annoying as the only option I seem to have is to return them for a refund. Not ideal as it will cost me to return them. I would of liked to contact the supplier so the missing parts could be sent to me but I can’t see how to do this.

It is a practical and sturdy litter tray. I have four kitties, two of which are indoor only. They are rather large and this is really nice and roomy.It's high sides are great for containing the litter when it's being dug and flicked around.So as I said, a great practical buy, however, it's BIG - my friend calls it the 'baby bath'. It is quite the centre piece for my small bathroom, but aesthetics had to go out the window as keeping kitty happy and litter contained was the goal of this purchase and this achieves it.

Such a great litter tray. I have two cats, one who refuses to use a covered tray, and the other who kicks litter EVERYWHERE. Since getting this tray they both refuse to use their other one, so I may well get another.It doesn't completely stop the litter being kicked everywhere, but reduces it by a lot. I've gone from hoovering up half the litter tray every day, to a small scattering every couple of days.Both cats are on the large side, so the tray being a little bit wider really helps there.

I've had one similar size and shape before, but it had no feet and the most bulbous part of the base was in the centre - hence, any activity within it resulted in its slipping/revolving - not tempting for a couple of cats who are not the boldest anyway! This one has four rubber feet, making it extremely stable and allowing the floor beneath to breathe, and a removable lip. Its height certainly prevents any missed aims over the side and so far I'm extremely pleased with it, as are the cats!

I bought one of these high-sided litter trays a couple of years ago, as my little cat was, ahem, pooing over the side of the normal litter trays that I had bought. This worked fine until this morning, when I found that somehow, she had managed to poo over the side at the lowest part… I have no idea how she could have done it, apart from maybe tip-toeing around the tray with her bum up as high as possible, as she is only a small cat, I do not know what else to do.
