Got this for my Jack Russell mix. He's on the pudgy side, about 15lbs. I measured his neck, chest & back length. Size chart showed I needed a large but decided on the medium, hoping it would have some stretch. Should've got a small. The set came with 4 pieces.-The bat ears, kinda like a bandana with foamy pointy ears, 2 holes for pets ears & stirring ties that goes under the chin.-A foam chest piece, slightly curved in on each side, with a string running across the top (ties around neck) & bottom (ties around chest, under front legs) extending past the sides acting as ties.-A foam belt with black jersey knit that ties around the waist.-A jersey knit cape that ties around the neck with another string about half way down that,

Love it. There are more ties than I thought but they do keep everything in place. If you have a a squirmy dog, the first time might be hard. I leave the neck part tied so I can just slip it over her head. The cape has strings on the inside to hold it in place around the waist. I didn't bother with the belt or the hat. The belt seemed unnecessary and nobody would see it unless she's sitting. The hat is a waste because the ears do not stay up on their own. Colors are true to the picture. For the price it's great but you get what you pay for. It's thin and probably won't stand up to regular or heavy use but I'd easily buy another. Medium fit my 37-40 pound petite border collie/terrier mix very well with a lot of extra room to grow.

I have a 16lb terrier mix so I ordered the small. It fit perfectly. There are a lot of ties to keep everything in place. There’s an extra tie on the cape to keep him from stepping on it which is convenient. After everything is on it’s a tad bit lumpy under the cape from all the ties but it’s not super noticeable. The ears were a bit floppy and didn’t remain prostrate so I decided not to use them. Which is no biggie since he already has bat ears. If you want to use the ears I recommend sliding some cardboard or pipe cleaner in there to make them stand up. The quality of the material wasn’t cheap looking. Overall great purchase and I’m very pleased.

Cute for the price, but lower quality materials so you pay for what you get. This costume is very complex, all four pieces come separately but could easily have a combined. I'll probably sew some of them together. The ears flop so are useless unless you can reinforce them.The chest was too wide for my 15 lb Chihuahua/Spaniel mix in size small. Descriptions make it hard to find the right size so I've included what was found on the package for easier sizing.My dog is larger than a Jack Russel Terrier so beware, I would have had to return a medium. I personally think these sizes run large. Still very cute and he seems comfortable wearing it.

I didn't use the ears bc he has black ears and his own ears looked much nicer than the floppy ones that came with the costume. The costume itself was Great! I was worries about the size and used my vest judgement since, he has a longer body than most dogs. The large fit great! He has a 28" neck to tail measurement, 24" chest and 18" collar. This fit perfectly! It was a tad long on the sides of his body (cape) but he's a corgi blk lab mix and is short, so this was expected! He got tons of compliments and he really liked it! I was impressed by the quality for the amazing price! Would recommend!

Love, love, love it! I couldn't be happier with this product. I got my 3 month old heeler pup a medium and it fits almost perfectly. (Chest plate is just a bit big but he's a pup so I expected as much). I had bought this one and the superman one sold by the same seller and the superman one was way too big compared to this one. Definitely happy that one of them fit! Size chart is pretty much spot on. The costume came with everything stated. A belt, chest piece, cape, and "bat" ears. I did not put the belt or bat ears on my pup because, well, he already has bat ears of his own!

The costume is very cute, and not super obtrusive, so my dog is happy to wear it. The price is also very reasonable here as compared to buying it in a costume shop. My only problem is that he is at the top end of the sizing that they list for large and he is swimming in this costume. He is kind of lanky, so maybe that is why, but I had to return it for a smaller size. The dog breeds that they list and the sizing they list for the medium seems way off, but the large was simply not happening. I would lean toward a smaller size if you are unsure.

This costume worked pretty well for our border collie. However I chose to put the breast plate on his back right over his cape. Same thing with the yellow belt - I tied that over the bottom of the breastplate on his back, which had the extra bonus of keeping everything in place. I found that it was pointless to put it on his chest as you see in the photo, since you couldn't see his chest most of the time. Our dog ended up entering a costume contest, with the rest of the family as his entourage, and he placed! :)

I just got this in the mail today and it is what I expected after reading the reviews. It does run small. I got this for my 45 lb Shepherd Mix and the medium fits great. The size chart was way off but I luckily read the reviews. I wanted a costume we could do event walks or even jogs in that would not make my dog feel constrained and this is perfect. I did not need the head piece as my dogs ears look more like bat ears than the costume (black shepherd) but the other pieces fit great.

This costume is perfect!! I got it for my blue merle Aussie/heeler mix. He is 40lbs and I got him a medium which is a tiny bit big, but a small might be too small. The chest plate folds a little instead of sitting flat (as you can see in the photo), but it's still super cute!!! I'm not using the ears as he has his own black pointy ears :)This costume is super adjustable with strings everywhere so this would even fit a much larger dog as well.

I loved this!!!!! My dog, well he didn't hate it but I don't think he was too happy with me.I own a 40 lb basset/beagle and a large fit him great. it came in three pieces. The breast plate, cape and bat ears.I didn't make him wear the bat ears, only because he doesn't like things on his head. Everything ties on. that is the only thing that I didn't like. I wish it had velcro.The kids loved bat dog as we were trick or treating! Fun!!!

Fit a Standard Schnauzer quite well because each piece ties on individually. It's normally hard to fit both his chest and his waist. This made it easy. The bat-ears don't stand on their own. They need a little wire or something added to help that. You can see how floppy they are in this picture. Overall,very very happy birthday though because it is easy to take on and off and fits even the difficult sizes

I think my dogs thought they really were super heroes for a day! Was so easy to put on, dogs didnt fight me on it. There were a huge hit with the neighborhood kids. Got some epic pics and a great halloween . Def buyin again for xmas. His name is Apollo Creed and i think he played Bat puppy awesome. The super dog in the background is super puppy Rocky Balboa. Was a great time for sure! Thank you rubies!

Adorable costume, but it is flimsy. It actually fit my dog really well, but the ties for the cape broke within minutes. My dog really didn't hate it nearly as much as I expected and he kept it on all night. The head piece slides around if your dog has a smooth coat, but other than that, it fit well and looked very cute. He got LOTS of attention as batdog when trick or treaters came to the door.

Purchased a size medium for my 20lb male Pug. Was a little big for him, would recommend a size small for similar size dogs. Costume is cute, but the cape covers the front batman logo, and the belt does not stay in place, rides down very quickly which bothered my Pug tremendously. Returned but I do reccomend this for bigger dogs. Very good value and the return process was very quick and easy.
