Our canine companion, Coco the chocolate labrador, cut her pad about 10 days ago when she was playing on her favourite beach. After a week of rest and bandages, her foot is healing is nicely, but Coco is getting very bored! We bought this boot in a local pet store last night, hoping that it would give her some padding and comfort so that she can walk a little distance.The boot fits perfectly over her bandaged front paw, and fits securely with the two velcro tabs. Because the boot has a nice rounded pad on the bottom it also adds some cushioning to the lacerated area of Coco’s foot. Coco is used to occasionally wearing a rubber balloon type boot, so whilst would prefer not to have a shoe on one foot,

This shoe ( or rather these shoes, as we needed three of them over a period of two weeks) really came into their own when our very lively Border Collie cut her paw and needed bandaging and restricted walks for three weeks. In dry weather they were fine over the bandage as they didn't need to be completely waterproof. They certainly provided some protection against wet grass, and were perfect after the bandages came off in helping her to walk and keep the healing wound dry and safe. There was a knack to getting them to stay on, but once learned this was no problem. Just wish our vet had provided these rather the pretty useless cut-down plasma bags the wanted us to put over the bandage in wet

Best boots we've found (and we've tried a lot of different types). My dog has a long-standing problem with one leg which means he drags his foot, and needs to have some protection when walking on hard surfaces, such as asphalt. I re-enforce the boots with rhino tape as he wears one every day and they are not really designed for being dragged along asphalt. They are not waterproof but serve the purpose I need them for. They've been in the washing machine ok, are easy to get on and off (although I have added extra velcro to get a tighter fit around his skinny legs) and are the most hard wearing boots we've managed to find.

We bought one of these boots because our labrador cut her pad, and it offered her some comfort to walk a little bit. The boot fit perfectly over her bandaged front paw, and was secured well with the two velcro tabs. Because the boot has a nice rounded pad on the bottom it also added some cushioning to the healing area the foot.The only problem we have encountered with the boot, is that it was too large to stay on the foot without a bandage, for instance, when she was just wearing a protective sock. Possibly if we had purchased a smaller size boot, this would have fit better.

I ordered this to protect my dogs foot and keep her bandage dry after she cut her foot and had stitches. I already had the size 4 boot but this was too small with the bandage. The size 5 was actually a little too large and came off a couple of times when she ran but when she was just walking it worked well. It was easy too put on and didn't bother the dog too much. I also ordered one of the proper rubber foot protectors which wasn't very good. Would recommend this product over others

My dog badly injured one of her pads so had to be bandaged. I ordered this boot to stop the bandage from getting wet when taking her for a walk. They are quite well made and reasonably priced in my opinion. The only dowside is that wear out fairly quickly. Worth buying to keep dressings clean and dry. The only real issue I had was with the Courier (DPD). I ordered Express delivery, but the product took 2 days to arrive. Amazon were very good about it and refunded my delivery charge.

My Irish Wolfhound required surgery to her paw. We couldnt get it to heal because she kept licking it. She had a collar the size of a standard lampshade. No good, she couldn't get through the door or drink. The I found the Mikki boot - amazing. She runs around ad it stops lickig and allows healing. I have recommended this to my veteriary practice. If we had had this in the beginning all would now be healed.

Medium easily fit my Dalmatian with a cut paw. After reading reviews i knew that this product wasn't the most durable so when we got it i reinforced the bottom and sides with tape. It seemed comfy and fit for purpose after this and lasted the 10 days we needed it to while paw healed. So much cheaper than vet alternatives. Can be easily kicked off/ dislodged if your dog runs exuberently however.

This came in handy when my dog split one of the pads on her foot and wouldn't stop licking it! She did try her best to get it off, but fortunately it stood up to the test and stayed on.Recommend it if you have a pet who keeps licking an injury :)I recommend that if you don't have a dressing on the foot to go down a size as it will end up being too big and slip and slide around on the paw.

These are a fab pair of boots, they did kind of do what I needed. They are not waterproof and unfortunately also caused sweating inside as well. No matter how tight we did them up they would slip down. This is no fault of the seller but most likely my measuring skills. They did however keep the bandages clean alot longer than not having anything else on.

I brought this for my lab that has an injured paw. as we were using a sock. item arrived the next day. packaging was clear and explained all what was going on and how to use it. item has been on my dog for 2 days now on and off and its durable flexible and well worth the money. I would recommend this product

This boot is excellent for keeping a delicate paw covered whilst healing. My Jack Russell Terrier is prone to getting a sore pad as he dashes everywhere when we are out walking. I can pop this boot on for a day or two and he is back to normal in no time. I used size 1 for my Terrier and it fits perfectly.

My older dog, ripped off a mail and I used one of your product a larger one, which is still in use, then my newer dog got a flint nick, so another boot requiredWe used to put boots on our dogs in Northern Ireland as from nails to metal shavings were placed every where our dogs walked, to cut their pads

What a great idea. My poor little puppy had surgery on her front paw and needed something like this. I followed the size guide for my dog (Staffie) & bought size2 but because of the bandage it was too small. I am keeping this for when the bandage comes off & have ordere a size 3 in the short term.

These are good for a temporary fix, but if a longer time is called for consider a different type.We were happy with fit & they were padded comfortably for our Cavalier.We ordered 3 at a time as 2 weeks is all they last for especially if used road walking.Would give 5 stars if sole better wearing.
