I bought this item for my little boy, who loves being a super hero. Reading reviews saying the item is too big, i chose the small size, which proved to be a good decision. I like the fact the costume has muscles, it's not a plain one. Furthermore, it comes with a cape, a mask and a plastic belt. You can stick the velcro tabs under the feet so it looks as if the child is wearing hero's shoes. The down points are: 1-I wish the costume was made with a better quality fabric. Not sure will last.. which is a pity considering the price. 2- Be very careful with the velcro tabs!! Once they stick to the fabric it rips it apart when pulled off!!! All in all, it's a cute costume. To see him as a little batman,

Golly Batfans, this is a huge hit! My son wears it with pride EVERYDAY, despite it being a little on the large side for him. He's not a small 4 but the chest is very big and does impair the eating of beans on toast. The belt, despite being good quality, is a bit of a pain to get on n off (especially with regular toilet trips) but the mask is particularly good. Bearing in mind he now has Spiderman, IronMan, Ben 10, the Hulk, we, as parents, prefer the simplicity (and price) of the Asda costumes. I look forward with anticipation as to how this looks when he fully grows into it but in the meantime am enjoying dad n lad days as I was encouraged to buy a Robin costume on the same day.

This batman outfit is excellent quality, my 3 year old loves running around in it and it has taken a good hammering with no obvious signs of wear. The sizing is pretty accurate too - my boy is quite tall so we got an age 5 and that fits just fine. It's great that it's the original batman outfit, my kids love the old batman movie and my boy loves being batman.The cape fixes under the chin with a bit of velcro and the mask is attached to the cape. The mask itself is a bit small but it's ok if you pull it down over the face. Even the utility belt is good quality. I have had several rubie's costumes and they are always excellent quality - worth paying that bit extra for as they give hours of great

After FINALLY receiving the actual costume (first delivery was opened to reveal tent pegs ! And return straight away) we couldn’t be happier!It looks amazing and we have one extremely happy boy he’ll be batman for his party!Our 4 year old (5 in a few days) is a tall boy usually sized at 6-7 years, so after reading other reviews, and I’m glad I chose small! It fits him like a glove, and has long legs so the feet covers actually sit over his shoes properly as they should.Be careful of the Velcro laying on the back fabric, it can grab a hold and pull at it a bit. But apart from that it’s a pretty well put together costume.

My Grandson was very pleased with his Batman outfit, and was more than happy to pose for photo's = thank you.Sadly here we are in Jan 2013 and it's gone missing, I'm trying to buy another one from you but can't because you don't have his size anymore. I've just ordered from another company, who I have to say are not in any way as helpfull as you were when I was trying to decided which size to buy last year.Just hope the new one is as good as yours, as he was over the moon with it on Christmas day. Would recommend using this company, as nothing is too much for them.Thank you.

Th e quality is excellent but the sizing is ridiculous. It says Medium 5-7 years but when opened it also has an American sizing on it as well as I presume the English sizing and that says 8-10 years. So as I was buying for someone who is nearly 5 this i not going to fit at all. Unfotunately this was the only size available and I would have chosen 5-7 because I want him to grown into it and get a couple of years wear out of it but this will take him 4 years to grow into! The actual suit looks great and is of good quality. .

I bought this costume for my 3 1/2 years old son - it looks great, it was the best costume he ever wore.There's room for improvement (a zip fly would be nice...) but nothing you can't fix yourself with some needle and thread.BUYER BEWARE - SIZES ARE VERY BIG...As stated in previous reviews the size is kind of big, so just take that into account and adjust accordingly and you'll be fine-I 'd go with size Small for ages up to 5-6 (depending on the childs body size) and Medium for up to 8 years old.

Great costume, fabric type as you'd expect for the price (man made fibres ahoy!) but that's OK you know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accessories (belt/cowl etc)Happiest little 4 year old ever! My little man is a little short for his age but the length of the suit did come up quite big for his age range but I'd rather he had growing room I guess. I did have to pin it up round the waist so he didn't trip over.All in fab purchase, just what I wanted.

After reading alot of the reviews, I decided to order a small for my 6 year old. And as the previous reviewers mentioned, this item is very big. The small is still a little big for my 6 year old, but if it is a cold day, he can wear some thermals underneath which then would not make the item so big. Very nice item. If you have a smaller than average child, then this item may not be for you, unless they do a size XS. Still a nice outfit, which came with mask, cape, belt.

This batman costume is excellent, however I would be careful of the sizing which comes out on the large/tall size. I have a tall 6 year old for which I normally buy 8-9 years old clothing so I decided to buy the 8-10 range as these type of dressing up costumes, from past experience, come on the small size. However this was very large and is more of a tall 11 year old fit and was far too long for my 6 year old. I am 5" 1 and it fitted me.

I bought this for my grandson for his 6th birthday. he loved it and it was delivered in time for me to take it down to Nottingham from Merseyside. I would use this seller again. The outfit is of very good quality and will last him for at least another year so he can wear it when he goes to his friends birthday parties. I would recommend this seller to anyone who wants to surprise their little ones with a fancy dress outfit.

My Batman obsessed child wanted this version of the batman series to complement his ever growing costume collection, he was a little upset as he found the muscle man moulded chest piece unwieldy.... Not to worry he now mixes and matches , capes, masks and his other outfits to create his own version of the Bat hero, also his friends love to come over and they all dress up and act out!

I got this for my son for his 5th birthday and he was so excited. He is Batman obsessed at the moment and it is so cute to see him run around with the muscle chest! The only negative I have is that the bottom of the seam has already torn so I will have to repair, but this may be down to an over-excited 5 year old not being careful enough when putting the costume on.

Brilliant costume, love the fake muscles, bit big for my 3 year old but still managed to pullit off with a belt holding up the top part. the molding works really well and looks far better than the lycra tight costume types. He loved the spikes on the cuffs and it has stayed looking good through the washing machine twice which i was worried about as is quiet stiff.

Costume was excellent, well made and a good fit on a small six year old boy, lots of running around onChristmas day, "oh look its Bat Man!" no grandma its me in disguise!!the delivery was less than impressive, the first attempt did not arrive at all and the second one(after complaining) arrived with a day to spare
