Ah, Harry Potter, what can I say? I’ve been a fan since the books first came out and have basically grown up with Harry. I bought one of the illuminating Harry Potter wands about seven years ago and I still have it, but somehow I always fancied the proper replica wands more. They somehow always felt when I picked them up in shops that they could do real magic.Well something came over me and I snapped and bought the wand. It arrived by Prime the very next day and I’ve more or less carried it around since. It’s pleasantly heavy and feels very strong. After buying this being as it's so cheap, since it is a collectors edition replica and everything, I was very happy when the owl came the next day with my wand. Packaging was fantastic, you really can't beat an Olivander's wand.The wand it self has a nice weight to it, which makes it feel genuine, the box it comes in is very, very good with stickers on the end with numbers on just like in the film.In the box, the wand does look really good and nice and the tassel type things covering it are a nice feature, which also appear in the film and don't look anything like the ones in the picture above, the ones above look purple and tacky. In real life they are much, much better.

This is a fantastic collector's piece of "Harry Potter" merchandise! I received it as a Christmas present and was absolutely thrilled upon unwrapping it; the moment that I opened the box and saw the wand lying inside its soft, red velvet casing and picked it up, I just felt like this is the coolest present ever! The box is lovely; the fine, transparent ribbons edged with red lace, the inner cushioning with the perfect outlining for the wand to be laid down in, the red strip that runs around the sides and the lid with number detailing on each end are all exactly as they appear in the very first of the movies. I ordered this wand in the hope that it would ease up my life a little. It wasn’t cheap, but what do you expect when it involves Harry Potter’s own wand!? Eitherway it comes in a very nice sturdy gift box with an elegant sleeve. Though keep in mind that it lacks the metal clips with the wizard’s name on it that is included with other versions and that allow you to place the wand in a collection rack. The wand itself is very sturdy made of a strong material, it obviously saw a lot of action when in Harry’s possession, but it’s structure remains quite solid.Now, the issue with my wand is that none of the spells I tried to squeeze out got me a satisfying result. “Accio dad’s beer” got me my wife’s facial mask.

Father Christmas brought this for our 8 year old boy. It was the best Christmas present ever and he is still playing with it. It's the imagination. Out of all the gadgety toys and lego and everything else, this simple "stick" has given him magical pleasure! Constantly. It goes everywhere. It got treated like a lightsabre a few times and got bent so he asked for another one for his birthday. It isn't easy to bend them - they are sturdy - but 8 year old boys can bend anything lol. One thing he loved most about it was the Ollivander's box. The presentation really does make a difference. Each night he would carefully lay it back in its box and fold the gauze over it lovingly. Best present ever.

This is a perfect gift for people like me, who have a still healthy (maybe not that healthy) obsession with Harry Potter. I ordered Sirius Black's wand, since I really love the whole Marauder era and the stories, fanfictions and the personality of Sirius. He is a such a cheeky monkey.I expected something cheap. I can't explain why, but I thought I'd receive a wood stick called wand and about that's it. But I was actually extremely happy when it arrived and I opened it. It has a nice, elegant box with red filling and it looks exactly like on the picture. The wand has a bit of plastic-like feeling, but the shapes and forms in it what makes it look just like Sirius Black's wand makes it even.

Now this wand by far is a very finely crafted replica. Now I want to warn people that this is NOT a toy even though labelled as one, it is very fragile and brittle, knock it off something, try to bend it or drop it and it will snap and shatter into a thousand pieces, so if buying for a child... don't. It is a prop and a collectors item.The intricate detail on this beautiful wand is surprising. It comes as it is in the pictures a very pretty little safe box, an official card, well boxed and completely safe from harm. The patterns on this wand have been carved in and look stunning.All in all Sirius Black's wand is a high quality very beautiful piece, I had someone come over to my house and comment on it.

*warning* the photo of the product is not accurate this wand doesn't have a silver shine to it. but i was aware of this and bought it anyway.i love this wand its very weighty, this makes it feel natural to hold and feels almost real. this wand is made of resin which is *fragile!* so it will break if dropped however sturdy it looks, the handle is detailed and nicely carved but most would say it is very plain because of the lack of colour.i bought this purely for the characters sake, but i was still thoroughly impressed with the product. the the ollivanders box is lovely, the velvet padding with in stops any amount of damage,i wish all of the wands of the noble collection were available with the

This is, to be brutally frank, nothing more than a textured plastic stick in a cardboard box. As such, it's possibly the most insanely overpriced item available anywhere on Amazon.com. It's also now my Potter-mad daughter's most treasured possession.What can I say? If you want a replica Harry Potter wand enough to pay twenty-odd quid for one, then this item will not disappoint you. The packaging is properly deluxe and authentic-feeling, and the plastic stick, sorry, wand, is nicely weighted and has clearly been crafted with much love, care and attention to detail. Luckily, it has also so far failed to demonstrate any actual spell-casting functionality, but that's not for my daughter's lack of trying.Unreservedly recommended,

I have been a lover of Harry potter ever since I can remember.I am 48 no job no girlfriend but the one thing that gets me going is harry potter! so as soon as I found out about this i couldnt wait to begin. now the packaging was superb it arrived by owl on the exact day i was told it would! the olivanders box made me feel like i was actually there and the wand had chosen me. now when i picked up the wand itself it felt beatufully balanced. I was running round the room shouting all the spells i knew. never have i felt so alive. my petronus is a stag just like harrys... we are one!!!! be warned it can chip which ruins the whole illusion. all in all i reccomend this to all fellow lovers of the series!

I done a review for Severus Snapes wand and now I'll do Sirius Black's wandWhen I got this wand I was also as thrilled with this as I was with Severus Snape's wandI got it in perfect condition, it's square at the handle and pointed at the tip, no scratches or anything, absolutlyperfect!I use this wand for role plays, I keep it safe as well don't want it damaged or anythingThis wand is exactlly like it is in the picture, it's different from what you see on the picture your able to see every detail and believe me the wand is very detailed in Wizard money from Ollivander's wand shop I guess this cost about 3 Galleons and 50 sickles.

Though this wand is very authentic looking I have to warn any prospective buyers......I doesn't work!I have tried every spell from the books and...Nothing! I even tried a Tommy Cooper move, still nothing!The only thing I can now do with it is to wrap it up as a Christmas present for my Harry Potter mad wife,perhaps she can get some results from it!On a more serious note this,as I said earlier, is a very authentic looking copy of Harry Potters wand from the movies.It comes in a really lovely copy of an Ollivanders wand box.After a recent trip to the Harry Potter film sets in London where similar Wands were on sale for ,a pound or two less than these but to my eye were not as well made and the

This wand is absolutely gorgeous! It is exactly as pictured, the wand is cushioned in red velvet with a gossamer style purple fabric laid over it. The wand comes with a small card stating it's authenticity. This all comes in a long slim black box with two Harry Potter style stickers at either end of the box, exactly like something you might see in Mr. Ollivander's Wand Shop! It really is a wonderful replica of Sirius' wand and the detail and packaging is exquisite. It arrived on time and was packaged in an excellent manner to prevent damage to the product. I am really thrilled over all with the product and would definitely purchase another wand or prop replica from The Noble Collection

After fisiting the harry potter tour in lomdon we decided that £60 was too expensive for a peice of resin in a bog standard nox. So when i found the wand on amazon for lass than half the price, in the presentation box, j knew i had to have it.it was a gift for my fiancèe's 30th birthday & he was absolutely thrilled.i bought myself a sirius black wand to go with it & we now have them displayed togethereven though tge wand is only resin it is still a heft piece. The presentation box is gorgeous with a soft interior & organza material to wrap over the top. Even with the ribbon on the outside of the box aswell.we are both very impressed.
