overall this wand is a great part of the noble collection, its lighter than i imagined as most of the other wands are quite weighty and the tip of the wand is fragile including the slug eyes at the base of the handle so be careful. *bare in mind these wands are not made to be played with*im impressed with the paint work of the handle of the wand, it makes it look very life like. if you are thinking that parts of this wand are metal then they are not, *metallic paint is used* the quality is very good and this wand is defiantly worth buying :) !i will say i wasn't impressed with the wand box ! i knew that the side character wands had the plain black boxes,the outside of the box is average and but nicely presented.however the inside in which the box in which it is contained is awful, this is because of the fake velvet plastic interior. i was aware of this when buying the wand as most of the side character wands are not available in the olivanders wand box, which is a shame especially if you are collecting these wands :/The wand comes with clip used to display the wand outside the box with a character name, be careful when putting the clip on, you might scratch it even though the clip is padded. one part of the padding on the arm of mine is only half glued on so be careful if anyone has the same problem :Sthe clip is placed inside the box with the wand, not convenient considering its at the tip of the wand but its wrapped in tissue paper to hopefully prevent any damage *if you are going to store it keep the clip wrapped up* but it shouldn't be stored because its lovely and shiny and should be shown off the the world :Poverall is a great product !

This elaborately decorated and oddly-shaped stick is a wand.Don’t let its appearance misguide you.It is a magical wand. And quite a powerful one.The wand is sturdy and has a nice grip. Even after very intense usage is still feels comfortable. And it doesn’t heat up after a subsequent stream of spells.It is simply a very pleasing wand to use. And I can appreciate the rune inscriptions. It waves very fluently. And the spells come out in a powerful, abrupt manner.I’ve never owned a wand before and never thought I would need one. But as it happens I’ve even used it with satisfaction and with deadly precision in a wizardry contest that I ran into - the fact that I’m writing this is testament to the successful outcome.Thanks to this powerful wand!. It must have belonged to a renowned wizard. And I’m surprised that I could just order it from Amazon for a very agreeable price.I have so far also used to throw a spell on my mother-in-law that transformed her into a goat, while the children have been ballooned and conveniently linger around the celling. This obviously requires focus and a little practice and of course the right spells, that can be found online. Also my cold beers are now endlessly floating to my sofa. I will say here that this last trick requires the ‘Brewus Levitatus’ spell.Life is so much more comfortable with a little magic. And this wand will set you up nicely for that.The wand is not that cheap but well worth its price.

review by account user's daughter BriannaI got this wand as a christmas present and I was so excited to gget it, Hermione is my all time favourite character and this wand is beautiful, Noble Collection has done a great job on this, the only down point is the trademark logo name written on it. but it's still gorgeous.I added some pictures here for you all to see. it comes in a green box with Hermione Granger and "a recreation of a famous wand" written on the front and it comes with a protective piece of material in the box along with a gold name tag, compared to Luna Lovegood's wand it is fairly tall and it's very unique looking and I LOVE all the vines wrapping around it.I think that this is the only wand without a handle.the only thing I will say is that you must look after these, don't go anywhere where they could get damaged, I do not recommened these for children under 8 or 9. my sister got a wand for her birthday in april and has already chipped clumps out of it and has scratches on it, I don't know wether thats just her because she leaves it laying around alot. I'm not sure but just remember that these are prop replicas [and that wand wasn't this wand it was Luna's wand, this one has not been played with, if she touched this I'd kill her ha] :)I'm getting Harry's wand at the W.W.O.H.P soon and this christmas I hope to get Ron's :D

One Wand to rule them allOne Wand to find themOne Wand to bring them allAnd in darkness bind themIn the beginning I was a bit wary if I could handle this fifteen inch long Thestral tail-hair elder wood wand but gladly I wasn't disappointed.Rumor has it that the American Elder Wand is only a counterfeit made by the famous wandmaker Mykew Gregorovitch so I had to order it from Amazon.uk. The wand arrived after two long weeks which gave me enough time to prepare. First I had to disarm the mailman of course to gain power over the Elder Wand and thus becoming its new master. Since then I have been able to improve my magical skills beyond belief. Before the Elder Wand I was mocked because of my muggle origin.Out of fear they now admit that they had been wrong all along. They consider me a Pure-blood now.Pros and Cons:+ Huge range with Attack and Disarming Spells. Successful Expelliarmus from a distance of 1.500 feet cast from a double-decker plane.+ Flawless Patronus casting. Mine is a blowfly.+ Lumos Spell produces intense luminosity. It's brighter than my smartphone.- Paranoia due to the popularity of the wand. Maybe it's just me but I'm overly cautious because everybody (except muggles) seems to be wanting to kill me. I barely leave the house lately.Please leave a like if my review made you want the wand as well.

My partner bought me this wand for my 19th Birthday. I LOVE IT! The actual box is huge. O.O I was a little bit overwhelmed by how big it actually is. It didn't look as though it'd be that big in the picture. But yeah, it's pretty wide and chunky. I love the quality of the authentic wandbox by Ollivanders; it's very nice looking, simple yet elegant. I also love that it has a velvety cushion to hold the wand, and not some cheap plastic material.The wand itself is very beautiful, very detailed, and BIG. Lol! It's pretty heavy compared to if it were made of actual wood. I've not played about with it or anything because I'm a little scared it may snap.Though I don't really think it could snap unless you're not careful and accidentally hit it on something like the edge of a table.My only disappointment on the product is the curtains! They are so fragile! It makes me almost don't want to ever take the wand out again, or take it out and never put it back into the box, just so that I don't have to mess with the curtains. You have to be very careful with them, the end bits are loose, and if you're not careful you may end up ripping it from the end, or pull the soft tiny threads apart.BUT, overall it is an amazing gift. Even if muggles like us can't use it to cast spells. What a big'ol fatty shame.

Professor McGonagall's wand is beautiful and looks just like the picture and exactly like the wand in the films.It comes in a beautiful green presentation box with a black dust cover.The wand is heavier and longer than I expected but it is very well made and it looks stunning.It is absolutely perfect for any Harry Potter fan or collector.The wand of Minerva McGonagall is of unknown length and wood and core materials. McGonagall has been able to perform very powerful and advanced magic with this wand, such as in the Battle of Hogwarts. Like most wizards and witches in Great Britain, she likely purchased it at the age of eleven before beginning her education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1937.In the film adaptations,the wand is sixteen and a half inches with a glass piece protruding out of the elaborate handle. This replica doesn't have the glass piece, instead it has plastic piece which is much safer when being played with or handled.In the film adaptions the wand is one of the few that has had a consistent design throughout all the films in the series.I would definitely recommend this wand. It will almost certainly be a worthwhile investment.

I've been thinking about buying Narcissa's wand for a while now, but I've been hesitant on what version to buy.This version comes with a lovely box, which fits the wand perfectly. It also comes with a cute, small clip, that you can use to display the wand and has a tag on it, stating it's Narcissa's.I think the clip was put on the wrong way on my wand, as when I display the wand, the tag faces inwards and you can't see the text :( which is a shame.The quality of the wand is really good. It doesn't feel cheap, it feels very very good in the hand. Definitely worth the price. I think the paint job could be better, BUT I think since it's a recreation, the wand is meant to be this slightly dirty look in some areas.It fits the wand very well and I'm not unhappy with it.It feels amazing to hold, but I could see people having issues with it due to the small bumps - but it's Narcissa's wand so you know what you're getting into.Also the code on the side of the wand is my least favourite thing about it. It's visually distancing and wished it was on the base instead of the wand.

Brilliant. Ive just returned from the Harry Potter studio tour in watford and whilst I was there I intended to buy the elder wand for my collection. However when I looked at the wands there they didnt seem to be of great quality and the box and lining were poor in comparison to the Harry Potter noble collection wand I had previously ordered from Amazon. Hence I didnt buy one from the tour and came home and orderd this. Im thrilled. The box is strong and lined with blue velvet - not sponge as they were on the tour. There are silk ribbons wrapped over the wand giving it a very special look. It matches my Harry wand and looks fab in my collection.The wand itself is the correct length and has all the expected detail The box has the labels on each end as per Ollivanders wand shop ( again unlike the tour). And the best bit - this was cheaper than on the tour. Every Harry Potter fanatic knows the importance of having the elder wand in your collection so if you are going to get one then order this. You wont be disappointed.

This is by far the highest quality wand replica from the Noble collection. It isn't as thin and flimsy as the others with a decent weight the handle is beautifully twisted and sculpted with a fine polish all over. You can really see where the darker brown gently fades lighter without blunt paint stains. The pictures do not do it any justice and I will be posting my own images to show you.Arrives beautifully presented in a long padded box, be careful you don't yank it out and break it as it is still very fragile.THIS IS NOT A TOY, on the side of the box as with most of them it comes with a `14+ years age written on it as this is a Noble Collection movie prop replica made from resin and some are made from wood,they are not durable and will shatter if dropped or tapped against a wall, you could snap them with your hands so these are not for children.I can't recommend this wand enough it is beautiful, the Noble Collection seller also does as described and usually ships one day earlier than said.

I bought this wand from the Noble Collection's concession in Hamley's rather than Amazon, but the product is of course identical. First impressions are that the wand is rather heavy (resin, not real wand wood) and probably four inches longer than the 'real' wand. However, this adds to the 'quality feel' of the product.This wand was bought because I am a massive Percy Weasley fan; and thus it serves its simple purpose of looking rather stunning on the mantlepiece. A small nametag/stand is included in the box- small but brass, it gives an impression of a top end product.This would not be ideal for a child's toy- the wand is inflexible, and would probably break if played with.Furthermore,I can confirm with absolute certainty that Muggles are unable to cast spells with this wand. But until Ollivander's branches out into the local High Streets, the Noble Collection has produced a wand that will be highly appreciated by all Harry Potter enthusiasts.

I am very happy with this wand, and I have to admit that the wand design is my favourite of all the Harry Potter wands.This is a genuine replica of Luna Lovegood's second wand, (the wand made for Luna after her first wand was confiscated from her at Malfoy Manor). It comes with a small card of authenticity.The handle is beautiful, representing a tulip.The wand is made of resin, which is a high quality material and although it can be breakable if not treated too carefully, the wand itself is very durable.Overall this is a great item to play with, a true collector's item, and especially great for dressing up as Luna. The box it comes in is beautiful, and there is even a small metal stand/tag with Luna's name on it.It can make a great gift for any Harry Potter fan, as it was proved when we gave one to one of our friends, she was very excitable and it didn't leave her hands for days. I definitely recommend this to any fan of Harry Potter.

I ordered this last week I can say that I'm more than pleased with it. I was sceptical about it to start due to negative reviews I had seen on the internet, but the product proved them wrong! I also have the wands of Sirius Black, Severus Snape and Albus Dumbldore and I have to say this is my absolute favourite wand and I'm so pleased to have it! The paintwork and detail of the product is magnificent, especially on the wand shaft where it is crooked/bent with the silver swirls. The only thing I have to say that could pose a problem on this product is how breakable it is, the tip of the wand and the 'slug eyes'on the handle do not have the normal metal rod running through them that all other noble collection wands have so they can break easily just from being dropped a couple of CM so this product is for collectors and not small children as it won't stand much waving around! To sum it all up, an excellent product!

The wand was bought as a birthday gift for a little girl who loves Harry Potter. She was very excited to receive her wand and her mother said she loved it. As such I would totally recommend the toy. I haven't actually seen the wand myself yet, so I can't comment on the durability. Educational value has to be 5 out of 5 as it encourages the imagination so much.We paid for next day delivery to ensure delivery on time. I was shocked at the price of it, and not amused when I received a text the next day to let me know the gift would be delivered during the school run, so the little girl's mother would not be at home. However, the delivery company left it with the next door neighbour which is a relief as the gift was there on the birthday.However, a subsequent text/card to let us know would have been an improvement, as the neighbour was out that evening so gift was not delivered until the next morning.

After the initial difficultly with getting this item due to massive national demand, I finally received my wand today and I'm pleased to report it is far more spectacular than I could have ever imagined, the craftsmanship is second to none and it fully simulates the real thing...... ok so I'm a 27 year old male and I appreciate this seems rather geeky however I just don't care as it is that fantastic....... however it does seem rather fragile and where as in the film... there quick movement of there wrists when casting spells doesn't quite seem possible here..... It may however be extremely robust and withstand such a severe batering in everyday use..... But i'm certainly not going to risk it!I completely recommend this product,it makes you feel so involved with the books and films, its quite surreal........... Its an absolute must have to any potter fans out there... 10/10

Despite not being from one of the main characters or even seen that often in the film Narcissa's wand was a piece i had always wanted. The wand itself is very sturdy and thick thanks to the very strong and wide handle. Unlike a lot of the thinner wands this piece has very little chance of breaking when swishing or moving it. Very nice design and matches the character well with its classy silver studs and tips (sadly painted wood). It actually matches her husband's (Lucius Malfoy) wand perfectly. Also comes with a lovely gold clip to attach to the wand so people can see which wand belongs to the less known characters. Now one point is that the studs on the handle can actually become painful if the wand is held to tightly or played with because let's face it.They may be `collectables' but we all cast a few spells with them!
