This was a big hit on my 4 year old grandson’s birthday. He didn’t take it off all day and one by one we were all in ‘cuffs (bought separately from ELC) whilst he called for backup on the little radio. The top is a simple one piece with Velcro at the back to help get it on and off. Trousers are good enough with the chequered bottom and plenty long enough for him. The hat is very cute, more NYPD than Met Police but he looks so cool in it. The baton in the photo wasn’t included (probably just as well) and there is nowhere to clip the radio so we attached it to the trouser waistband and fed it though the top.Size wise, he is an average 4 year old and the small fitted him fine with a little extra room.

Good quality fabric, washes well and took lots of play so far. Still looks like new. Radio set is very different from what is shown on the picture, just a cheap piece of plastic with no clip and can not be attached to the top or trousers. Hat is good and will actually stay on the head during play. It fits both my 3 and 6 yo perfectly and stays on when jumping, running etc. Hat size is universal, one for all ages. Costume sizing however is a little odd and I will recommend taking size up as top is small. My slightly tall 3 yo is wearing size S with top just right and bottom too long. I do not think size S top will fit 5 or 6 yo. It definitely doesn’t fit my 6yo who is wearing size M and again it’s just right for her.

Bought the 4-6 size for my 5 year old he's just 6 now and it still fits him, he's very slim. The quality of the trousers and top are great. The trousers are a bit longer than I thought they would be but still a good fit. The trouser waist is elasticated and so is the hat. The shirt and high visabililty jacket is all one piece and so far down the front was a little gap left unsown for the radio clip to slot into. The hat is a little larger than I thought it would be but my son loves the costume, it even survived a full day's wear at school. The photo shows a truncheon but this is not included, you get the costume and radio. Overall really happy with it.

Great police costume! My only niggle is the shirt doesn't have anywhere to attach the walkie talkie to, but I can fix that easily enough. We originally wanted an inexpensive police costume to turn into a zombie policeman per my 6 year old's request, but I think it's too nice to ruin it! Surprisingly nice quality given the price. I ordered a size medium for my 6 year old, it is a bit big, so it seems to run true to size (after ordering I realised a size m is 7-9 years). Even then it still looks nice, and isn't difficult to roll the waistband up to shorten the trousers. Great value, received it same day we ordered it.

Overall a good police outfit which my 5 yr old loved. Size was 3-6 years and fits a small 5 yr old fine. Trousers quite long and will last longer than the top which is smaller in proportion. Packaging not great and item was very creased but a quick iron sorted it out.Police batton does not come with it. Hat was good and a generous size, folds flat so easy to store. Radio was very cheap moulded plastic but we didn't buy it for that. The radio is difficult to clip to the top as there is nowhere to clip it to.Overwall a good outfit and a bit different to some of the others out there.

My son received this for his 5th birthday. Just to say...a) it doesn't come with a truncheon, even though there is one on the picture, but when you read the label on the packet a truncheon is not listed == surely this is false advertising?b) we got a 'small' size for my 5 year old (which was for ages 4-6 years) and it fit just right for his 5th birthday....(he is above average height),...but it will be too tight when he is 6 years old and will not longer fit him. I wish I had got a slightly larger size so he could wear it for a few more years.

Absolutely brilliant. Perfect size for my 4yr old grandson he will get at least a years play out of this.He loves it and looks so cute especially when he is riding his police bicycle too.Great value for money especially with next day delivery and better than I expected for the price to be honest. A very happy boy so a very happy Grandma.Happy to recommend for any aspiring young officer, just be prepared to be arrested many times and the exciting times to be quite noisy ??

Got this for my 4 year old for Halloween party at his school. The trousers were a bit too long but he is q bit small for his age. Not a major issue though as just turned them up at the waist. He loves the outfit and because the hat is slightly too big it adds a bit of comedy affect. A good point about this outfit is that the shirt, vest and tie are all attached so easy to get on/off. Overall a good quality outfit which is worth the price.

I loved the costume as did my 4yr old. The quality was good - what you’d expect for the money. The only negative point I have is the top has a very small opening for the head and only has a small slit at the back for extra room getting it on and off. This makes it very awkward to get it on over a sweater when my little fella wants to wear it outside in cold weather. I will probably slit it further myself and put more velcro fasteners on.

My little 5 yr old grandson was over the moon with the outfit. He is small for his age, so the "small" size (4-6) was plenty big enough (we had to turn up the trousers so that he wouldn't trip over). It is reasonably made and the top comes all in one piece (shirt, tie, vest) which makes it easy to get on and off. The hat was a little big but it made it more hilarious! The radio set was made of plastic as expected. Lots of fun.

Bought this for my nephew who is four and a half and tall for his age. Not only did he utterly LOVE it but it also was a beautiful fit. The quality is what you would expect for the price and purpose. The only downsides were that the radio could not attach as shown in the picture and that the picture is misleading for a child who sees a truncheon only to discover that there IS no truncheon. Well worth the money overall.

Hi bought this for my grandson birthday aged 7 years. He loved it and wore it straight away. It was a shame it didn't include the trucheon like on the picture, but also maybe not a bad thing if grandson went round using it too much lol. Size was just right too, just think it might wear out too quickly as he will wear it too often. Price was reasonable but could be cheaper or free delivery.

Great value. Bought for our 5 year olds birthday. He loves it. Easy to put on. Radio little tricky to clip and pretty plastic but thats only a small accessory.Got size 7-9 ( for growth, hes a little smaller than average) legs are 77cm waist to foot. Top 43 cm shoulder to waist.76 cm round chest. Hat fits his bigger than average head and has elastic in thw back so stays on.

Brought 7-9 age size for my 6 yr old, trousers quite long but top about right, although son fairly small and petite. son loves it. good quality. only real down side is dry clean only. For my kids not practical - arrived Saturday, hand washed by Sunday! Ho hum. hoping it doesn't fall apart or bleed colour. Trousers survived a gentle hand wash. Not yet hand washed top.

This was bought for my little boys 4th birthday. He has never had any dress up clothes before so was a little worried he wouldnt use, however he absolutley loves it and enjoys playing dress up and pretending to talk on the walkie talkie. The only critisism is that it doesnt come with the truncheon as shown in the picture, which was purchased seperately
