I was looking for an additional handset for the bedroom that would be compatible with my Gigaset 820S, but at over £100e couldn't quite justify another 820s. Found that you can check coompatibility between models on the Gigaset website so bought this with complete confidence.Delighted with the purchase, only took a few minutes to register and upload all my contacts. Same great quality and the added bonus that it displays an analogue clock on the lcd screen - no longer need to press the button on the alarm clock to see the time in the early hours. A great phone and at this price an absolute bargain. You won't be disappointed!!

Purchased to work with an old A580 IP base station for which I had lost a handset (an enduring mystery as it can't have left the house and we have searched for several months???). Connected and worked fine first time. Using the base station web interface I was able to easily upload the same directory as on the other handsets.Would have given it a five, but it came with some annoying default "apps" which kept trying to give me a weather forecast for Japan. Took a while to figure out how to switch this off!

Lovely phone. We'd previously had Panasonics which were disappointingly poor in the sound quality. I bought this single handset to add to a trio of Gigaset phones I'd bought elsewhere. It was extremely easy to link to the existing set. It looks good and has great sound quality; you can also adjust the volume of both ringtone and the handset. Some of the ringtones are a bit wacky but we've learnt to embrace a funky one!I was a bit worried as I hadn't heard of Gigaset, but they're actually Samsung I think.

In general it's a good phone. The display is on the small side and I find the Menus confusing. The pairing could be better, you can't enter a new number and then quickly pair it to multiple hand sets. It seems to be quicker to re-enter the number in each hand set or does some know the answer. A good feature however is being able to check the number of a call made to you after finishing the call you were on at the time the second caller was trying to reach you.

Like a number of other reviewers here, I bought this to use with a Gigaset SL400 set, as the 400 additional handset is quite expensive. This one works really well with them (The Gigaset website gives a list of compatible handsets) and has all the features of system - in fact my wife prefers it as the buttons are easier to use!. Pairing it up to the main base was a matter of seconds, whilst adding the directory list was equally as quick, and then ready to go!

Bought to add a handset to our S79 range. This is much cheaper and has most of the functionality of the S79. Gigaset have a page on their website that show inter-handset compatibility which is worth checking out before purchasing.Doesn't get five stars as I had to contact Gigaset tech support who were not very helpful, didn't read my questions and ended up being somewhat rude (when I pointed out that they hadn't read my emails)

This is not something to write home about, but if you call home, it's good to have a reliable, workaday cordless phone there. It took me only a few minutes to link it to my N300A IP base station, configure the incoming and outgoing call settings, transfer the contacts list from another handset and turn off that pesky ticker! It was intended as a spare, but there's no point in keeping it in the box when it can work for its keep.

Item supplied by Total Digital Stores was the newer C430HX model with Cat-IQ 2.0 support. These handsets are inexpensive yet fully functional with my Fritz!Box 7590 router's DECT base station. Caller-Id, shared address book etc. features all work properly, much cheaper than the Fritz!Fons sold by AVM. I believe the C450H model is less fully compatible (my mistake not to check this on ordering, but worked out in the end !).

Would give this five stars if it wasn't that this purchase was to replace one that died unexpectedly, so it looses a start for it'd dead mate.We have four of these round the house and the features are excellent, we run them from VOIP and they were easy to set up once I had got my hand on the full instructions from the internet.

We bought this add-on phone to put in a second floor bedroom. Not much to say about it - it works, it linked to the main phone without any problems (once we'd read the instructions that is!). The manufacturer's website is very good, it will tell you which additional handsets are compatible with your existing main phone.

Great battery life. Very clear. Does blacklist too for blocking unwanted numbers.The blacklist unfortunately is limited to 12 numbers, so once you reach that number of 'cold callers' you want to block, you are pretty much stuck. This is why I marked it down 1 star.

I bought this to replace one of my existing handsets (S68H) that wouldn't charge any more. It is better than my older handset with a colour screen and a nice clock as the screen saver which is handy on my desk. It connected to the base station without a problem.

I have had many different home phones over the years, some good some bad. This one has by far the best signal, clearest audio and is the easiest to set up by far (I bought this to add to the Gigaset C430A trio set). An excellent product, highly recommended!

Bought 3 handsets to go with answer phone bought a couple of weeks ago. Quite simple to set up each phone and transfer phonebook from original onto the new ones. Ringtone could perhaps be a little louder. Too early to comment on battery life.

It does what it claims to do: integrates well with Gigaset N300A Dect VoIP base station and offers all the functionalities you would expect from a DECT phone. The only negaive remark is that it feels a bit 'light' (plastic) in your hands,
