Extremely pleased with my choice as bought these to replace my two BT Studio Plus phones. Both handsets look identical. Bases also look identical with the only difference being the main one has a phone line socket at the back. Both have a rear power socket which simply plugs in.Very easy to install and set up even without needing to read the 36 page manual. Loved the fact both handsets share a single address book which meant I only needed to put my phone numbers into one of them. The handsets not only look sleek, they seem to be well made too. Best of all, they do not have that horrible plasticky feel which a lot of handsets have. They are almost twice the weight of my old BT Studio Plus phones, but that shouldn’t be an issue for anyone. When not in use the handsets display the time in big digits with the date and charge status below. All the usual features you’d find on other handsets like speed dial, speakerphone are all here.If you have more than one handset installed during a call then the standby phone displays the message 'Line in use', together with the phone charge status and current time.Box does come with 4 rechargeable batteries (AAA) so there is no need to buy any.INSTALLATION:Had one small issue when I connected the main base to my old phone extension cable. Even though it worked well with my old phone the new handsets displayed ‘Check Phone Line’. Solved this by using the cable which came with this phone even though it was much shorter.+SIX MONTHS USE:After six months of daily use I have to say they are the best phones I’ve purchased. I originally thought replacing these with the BT ones was something I’d find hard to adapt to, but quite the opposite. . . . I LOVE these phones and as yet haven’t found a negative side to buying them. Absolute bargain!WHY I CHOSE THIS PHONE OVER OTHERS.• Ability to block numbers, including all withheld.• Bargain price• Good household brand• Shareable phone book• Nice looking phoneBOX CONTAINS:• 2x Power adapters with uk plugs• 2x Handsets• 2x Base charging units• 1x Telephone cable• 4x AAA rechargeable batteriesLength of cables:Power: 178cm (70inch/ 5.5ft)Phone: 152cm (60inch/ 5ft)

For the price point this phone has everything that I would be looking for. We used it to replace our home phone so this review really reflects the home user. First off, it took two minutes to set up straight from the box. I needed to charge mine for about half and hour before I could set the time/date but that was no big deal. The screen is excellent for people like me who have trouble seeing figures on small LED screens. The display shows the time and date and also has an alarm clock function if you use this in your room. The unit feels well made and whilst it's not a Bose handset obviously, it does feel robust enough to cope with daily life.Unlike most other people I would actually use the landline over mobile phone as I get clearer call quality and a stable reception with this phone compared to my Iphone 6 plus. If I am at home, this phone is my first choice for communication. The number buttons are nice and big and my father in law has no problem using this handset (he is 76). There are multiple other functions including last number redial, call blocking and it can store numbers for fast dialling. I have to say that I don't use these features much (except last number redial); we are ex-directory so my problem with nuisance callers is on my mobile not the landline. All in all it's been fantastic so far and I have enjoyed having an upgraded handset for the home line. It doesn't have a huge range of ring tones and they sound a little tinny but we just settled for the normal telephone ring and it's fine for us. The volume is loud enough for us to hear this anywhere in the house (unlike the previous handset that we couldn't hear at all) and it has a nice outer design that fits unobtrusively with our hallway decor. I am very pleased with it and would not hesitate to recommend it.

For the price, this Panasonic is good value. Moreover, finished in matt dark grey, it looks good (unlike many budget phone units, which are shiny and emblazoned with large, gaudy numbers and flashy displays).Based in a small docking station/stand, this Panasonic comes with charger, rechargeable batteries, and about 10 feet of cable. Setting up time took mere minutes, and while the menu is fairly straightforward, my own challenge including some guess work working out how to up the ringer volume. (Then again, I'm a bloke, so I don't often read the instructions before diving in.) Look a little closer, however, and this phone also comes with an ansa-machine function - capable of recording the obligatory greeting, and saving up to 10 inbound calls. In these days of internet mobile phones, the displays on such home cordless hand-sets have steadily grown bigger - and the benefit of this is a large clock display and date. And while I thought it, initially, a bit on the large side, the display is actually big enough that you can use it as a desk-top calendar.Call quality is very good, and (again, influenced by contemporary mobile phones), this has an easy-access 'nuisance call' function, which allows you to add the last number (or any number recalled via the call log) to a barred list. However, in order to utilise this, you'll need the relevant call screening as part of your standard phone line rental. Either way, it's a neat touch. My only dislike is the range of ring-tones. Why do phone manufacturers not provide subtle tones, too? Too many of these are on the verge of, if not comedy, then (for want of a better expression) a bit tacky.Other than that, a good all-round phone for the home - at a decent price.Recommended in its price-range.

This is a good basic cordless phone with the added features of a nuisance call blocker and a low power eco mode.Set up was easy even without reading the instructions. I was up and running within a couple of minutes of opening the box. The display is clear and easy to read and large enough for me to read without my glasses. When in standby mode the display shows the date and time which is a handy side effect to have on my desk at work. The phone is responsive and the keys give satisfying feedback. The menu system is reasonably intuitive, but you will need to read the instructions to get the most benefit. The charging station has a small footprint but is also quite stable. The call quality is very good; crystal clear and with good volume. The speakerphone (accessed by one click) works as well as any other I have used. Battery life is also very good. I have used the phone extensively all week at work and it gets me through a few days between charges. The range is also good.Eco mode is accessed via a single button press and reduces the power output. Call blocking is also simple; post the call it just takes a couple of clicks to add the number to the blocked call list.Overall I find it very hard to find anything not to like about this phone and recommend it.

The small rechargeable batteries come with the pack so it's a matter of moments to get this sorted. A basic phone with an unsophisticated call blocker system, perhaps a little risky to block withheld numbers unless you are sure that no one you actually want to speak to will ring on them. Usually unwanted sales callers come through as International although some phone suppliers also show that word despite being UK. This system is more for blocking someone you really don't want to hear from. Of course need to be already enrolled to or ready sign up for Caller ID service, at a small extra cost.I like the feel of the phone in my hand and appreciate the small footprint of the charging base. The alarm clock could be helpful, but not for me as I wouldn't want this phone by my bed. The ten redial numbers are available but really I wish these phones wouldn't try so hard to be all 'bells and whistles' - what is more important is being able to see the numbers and hear the call clearly, usability from a generous distance safely offered, then with easy to access speakerphone button next on my list of priorities. Those points are all comfortably covered. The instruction book is well produced and easy to follow although in rather small print.

I bought this set of phones for my elderly mother. Although still mobile she does not like to go too far to find the telephone that is ringing. Now she has one in most of her rooms. The screen is small but easily seen (assuming that she has her glasses on at the time- it could be a little larger) and the display is clear. This trio of phones is very easily set up as long as you have a plug point and telephone point near to each other for the master handset. If your plug point and telephone point are not close you will have to buy an extension cable for one or the other as the cables are short. This should not be a problem in a modern house but may be in an older property. Otherwise they seem to work well, they have prominent numbering and buttons and are easy to use even for someone who has little feeling in their fingers (my mother). I would not consider this set remarkable or particularly spectacular but it is simple to set up and use and seems to me good value.

This unit is presented as small docking station with a charger, rechargeable batteries, and about 3m of cable. Setting up time is quickly and easily done. Includes good instructions, e.g. for the ringer volume. And of course, there's an answer-phone built in, essential these days if you have this unit as the main phone in your house. And it is really great to have a large display -- with mobiles you have to squint at the screen, but this phone has numbers which are easy to read.Call quality is very good, which is of course a key reason for buying this phone. The Panasonic also has 'nuisance call' function, which allows you to add the last number (or any number recalled via the call log)to a barred list. I use this feature on my mobile, to screen out all the PPI calls they bombard me with. Excellent to have it now on my landline.

I've had this phone for some time and it's great for making and receiving landline calls. The sound quality and handset range are good, and more than enough for my needs.I've marked it down star wise though because despite being a generally nerdy person who writes software and enjoys things technical and could even program my VCR in the 80s, I find the interface on this to be pretty much incomprehensible. It probably has many features I've not used because of this. I managed to put one name in the telephone directory on it and felt like I'd cracked the Voynich Manuscript. The instructions are in that international style which is mutually incomprehensible to all the people of the world.I haven'tmarked this down a lot as I'm sure many people will be fine with it and think I'm just dim.

I am pleased with this phone so far, but there are a couple of aspects that could be improved upon. The sound quality is good, it is easy to set up and most of the functionality is really easy to work.I have been able to block some of the annoying and repeat callers that I get, however there is a call blocking limit of 30 numbers I think, so once I reach that limit I can not add any others - that is a real shame if you ask me.I would much rather have a full colour screen - I can not understand why domestic telephone manufacturers do not utilise some of the mobile phone technology or appreciate that smartphone users want more high tech functions at home as well!So all in all, I think the phone is pretty good,it could be better though and without much effort!

I have previously had BT Studio twin cordless phones and when both of my latest phones finally stopped working my first inclination was to browse the current BT Studio models. I wasn't looking for a phone that would do anymore than what our previous phones could do but pricewise I thought they were a bit expensive so I looked at alternatives. This Panasonic phone caught my eye and the specification was equal to what I had been used to and the price made it an absolute "yes". The display is very clear with large letters, the address book is superb as are the call records, both received and sent, and the call-blocking works a treat. This phone was too good to miss.

Having swapped my corded phone with these cordless ones I am very happy. No I can talk anywhere in my house and do not have to huddle in the corner of the living room anymore! A reasonable programmable phone-book which once input on one handset will show up on the other. If you want it to show who is calling you will need to ensure that you have subscribed to caller ID with your line provider. With mine there was no additional cost and once it was set up I could see who was calling. Phone also has an intercom feature between handsets which has its uses! Handsets themselves are sturdy enough and the battery life seems to be pretty decent. A very good product.

It is a wonderful product. It is not too light and not too heavy, nor does it feel fragile. The display is well readable day or night, the sound is clear and the buttons are precise. It shows time and day on its display. It offers a choice of several ringtones and ring volumes, which makes it less intrusive as a home telephone. It has got a builtin telephone book and a redial memory, which are both easy and fun to use. Also noteworthy is that it does not interfere with a micro splitter + ADSL router when used on the same telephone line (my old phone did not behave as well as this one despite the micro splitter and caused the transfer rates to drop by 20%).

Only arrived today (on time and well packed) so haven't used all it's features - but as far as registering it to the existing base and getting it up and running ... it was a piece of cake. Childs play in fact. The ringer is plenty loud enough. The cords are of reasonable length (not especially long but decent enough). And the buttons and screen are all logical and easy to use. For the money I think it's fine ... lots of features that most people may never use - in fact I think most people would have a job remembering how to find and use all the different things ... but, hey ho, it works for making and receiving calls which is OK for it's intended use.

Seems to be a pretty good replacement for my BT2100 Dect 'phone that died after only 10 months light use. Build quality seems fine, the ringtone is loud enough, as is the earpiece volume. Amazon promptly refunded my money for the BT unit, as the 'phone failed within its 12-month warranty, without any quibbling (nice job), but having seen the Panasonic I can't help wishing that I'd bought this first. It's a far better proposition.I haven't yet tried the call-blocking feature, so have no idea if it works, but as we're ex-directory and our main 'phone is voip-based, I doubt if I'll bother. Thus far, and as a basic 'phone, I'm happy to recommend it.

An excellent phone, very neat and takes up little room so a very useful phone for upstairs in the bedroom. It was extremely easy to set up and the call blocker is useful. The instructions are clear and very straight forward - the phone needs to charge for a few hours before it is ready for use but once charged it took only a few minutes to install. There is a decent length of cord so it doesn't have to be placed immediately next to the input plug. A purchaser needs to be aware that you need to subscribe to a call blocker service [this wasn't a problem for me as I already do this but not everyone does].
