I got this as a cheap replacement for one that was eventually destroyed by the cats and i thought, well it will eventually go the same way, and it will, the little darlings also knock this one off it's charging cradle no matter where we put it, but despite being knocked of window sills and computer desks it still gives a good reception and the person on the other end speaks and listens clearly, so all in all, if the cats eventually break this I'll be getting a new one as it is so easy to use and program and as a bonus it arrived earlier than expected! 3 days from order to postie knocking on the door!03/03/2017, despite the cats still knocking off wherever we put it,

A perfectly adequate basic tool that 'does the job' and comes with everything you need including a comprehensive fold-out instruction manual_ But if you're looking for elaborate extras_ bells and whistles etc_ this phone isn't for you _NOTE THIS >>> Prior to purchasing I rummaged around the web to find any complaints about this model _ The comments and threads I found most often concerned people not charging the batteries for the full 15 hours (as directed) _ The phone display clearly shows when the batteries are fully charged _ My advice would be to ensure that you fully charge the machine before using it

This phone seems to be OK. I saw the negative feedback, but this does not seem to apply to the phone I received. The key is to set the phone up and leave it to charge for 15 hours, as the setup guide suggests. I plugged mine in and left it for a day. It now seems fine. Works upstairs when the station is down stairs. Keeps its charge etc etc. I am very satisfied. My only complaint is that the LCD display is not very attractive, but who cares really? Volume is good, etc. Overall a very good buy at the price.

It's cheap and it does the job. I mean who needs a house phone in this day in age. We never use the house phone but there's a part of me that still feels the need to have one just because grandmar can't call my mobile phone. It sits on top of my desk in the study and it never gets touched. But sometimes strangers from Microsoft call me and tell me I have a virus that they can help me clean. Without this I'd still have them pesky viruses.

I needed a replacement telephone but did not wish to spend a fortune. I've had this one a couple of weeks now and so far, so good. It's very basic in terms of features, but it works great so far. I don't use the land line a lot so I don't foresee it being over used, for light use this will do just fine. I'll update the review if any issues come to light down the line, but at this point I am happy to recommend it as a good budget option.

This is a great little phone, i brought it because ours packed up and was looking for something cheap as we hardly ever use the home phone and this fit the bill. It is a very cheap phone but well made and the sound quality is good actually, better than i had thought based on some of the reviews. Ok it might not be amazing but it is under £15 so with that in mind it is great value for money and a bargain.

SO FAR, IT DOES EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED, I USE THE LANDLINE FOR TV AND BROADBAND ONLY BUT HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO TURN OFF THE RINGER, AS NO ONE KNOWS THE NUMBER, INCLUDING ME, THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO PHONE ARE THOSE IRRITATING PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SELL KITCHENS, ETC, ETC, AND THOSE CRIMINALS WHO ARE TRYING TO OBTAIN OUR BANK DETAILS., NOW. I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO ADVISE THEM OTHERWISE !!.

Great service & Product.Pls keep it up..The batteries were incorrectly placed in battery slot,so took longer,to get the phone working;as there are no signs to inform of checking.Hence,I thought phone was faulty initially & I was about to call binatone helpline:who are not open weekends.A little stickerto remind about position of battery will help.Thanks

I am very pleased with my purchase. My only regret is that I did not read the details of the product more clearly. I would have liked hands free (speaker phone), but that was my fault. Apart from that, I feel that I have a good product, and most definitely value for money. Once again, the service was excellent. Prompt and efficient. Thank you.

Bought this to replace an earlier model, haven't had any problems with it. Although you mustn't forget to put it on charge. It's quite easy to forget it's lying on your table and to use it one day and it suddenly go dead on you. So always place back on the charger. Although even if you don't put it on the charger, battery life is very long.

Just wanted a simple cordless phone with a decent number storage facility. This is a replacement for a similar one which died after several year's usage. Does the job perfectly and would buy again. Well worth the reasonable price and well worth having.

Good basic cordless phone. If you just want to use it for talking this is a great alternative as it's cheap and does the job well. However if you are looking for more advanced functionalities, this might not be the product for you.

It's ok, but disappointing that even with stored numbers they don't display when calls come in and it took me ages to sort out the ring volume. Other than that, it's better than a corded one.

bought for elderly person with limited mobility. she takes it with her around the house and in the garden. she charges it overnight so its ready for daytime use. shes very pleased with it

Bought for elderly dad when he moved in to his retirement home. Nice little phone with easy set up, just plug it in and go. Pensioners friendly, and he can hear it with his hearing aids!
