These phones are quick and easy to set up there’s no complicated settings menu prior to use - just plug in and the phones are ready to use. Phone socket is needed for main base unit whilst second unit just plugs into a wall socket - no need for additional telephone cables. Nice looking phone which fits securely into the base (picture attached). Answer machine can be accessed via the base or handset and has 18 minutes recording time, option to either use the pre-set message....‘we can’t take your call right now ....’ or it’s straightforward to record your own. Remote access to messages also available if you’re away from home.Speakerphone function included so phone can be used hands free. There’s capacity to store up to 50 names & numbers in the phone memory - again it’s straightforward to add or find contacts in the phone. There’s a locator function on the phone which can be used if you misplace a handset - press button and the missing phone will ring for you to locate! Orange backlight (picture attached) when the phone is ringing or is taken out of the base unit. This set comes with 2 handsets, one base has an answer machine and the second base is just a charging unit (picture attached), cable length from socket is a good size. Fast charging and long battery life ... I haven’t tested how long it takes to completely run battery down but I’ve had handset off the base unit for hours at a time with little difference made to the battery. There is no need to set up both phones individually e.g. if you add a contact to phonebook it’ll automatically update the second phones menu. They’re nice looking phones, comfortable & easy to use, adjustable ringer/push button tones, good sound and clarity during calls, caller ID incoming phone numbers are clearly visible on screen, call blocking is easily activated if needed.Overall this is a good phone set with a range of functions .... but ultimately the phone has a good size keypad for dialling numbers, there’s clarity of sound when on a call and it’s loud enough when ringing!

Nice product. I've had Panasonic cordless before and they were good apart from the keypad which was a nightmare. They needed an inordinate amount of pressure to register a keypress. These are much easier and more responsive. I can attest to this as I bought these for my elderly mother. I replaced my old Panasonic handsets myself a while ago and gifted them to her to replace her corded phones. She hated the old style 'rubber key' buttons the old Panasonic handsets had.Anyone who remembers the old Spectrum home PCs will know what I am talking about.Anyway. I felt bad for gifting her something she couldn't get along with so did some research and came up with these and thus far they are great. It took her about 30 seconds to get how to enter numbers into a phone book, another 30 to work out how to navigate it. The screen is easy and clear to see, the handsets seem robust and comfortable to hold. The sound quality seems fine so far but given it's only been used for local calls thus far I cannot, in truth, give five stars for that until it's been tested on full national and international calls.Battery life is good as long as you follow the instructions to charge them for a full 18 hours before you use them. The fact they are included is a nice touch though. BTW, my last Panasonics came with rechargeables as well. In five years then never degraded. There is only one minor bugbear. The main base unit dock Has no front retention so the handset has nothing to prevent it from sliding forward and off if knocked. The secondary base is fine in that respect. It is only a little thing and for the most part will not affect anyone who uses it unless the base is placed in a location where it might be knocked.Overall I am most pleased with this. I was a little dubious at first but in the end I had no reason to be. Most recommended.

My BT 3 phone cordless set was over 14 years old and in sore need of replacement. Our house is fairly small so I chose a 2 handset version. Simply but effectively packaged into a small box, everything inside was well-protected and no damage or scratches were present.Basic set-up is easy and there is no need for the instruction booklet if all you want is calls! I used the booklet to set the date and time, which has stayed accurate and I find particularly handy when I can't see a clock in the room. It even has an alarm function which works correctly, which is good timing as my bedside clock alarm no longer works! The answerphone works well, too, and the cradle is quite upright, which saves a little space on the shelf. You can set your own answer message but I have left mine with the default one. The cradle can have a different ringtone from the handset and again I find this useful, along with the 'Locate' button which rings the handset - great when the kids have left it under the sofa! The reception is much better than my old phones and extends well into our garden without dropping out (I haven't measured this but suspect it lives up to the spec) .I haven't had the opportunity to use the call block facility but it allows up to 50 numbers to be blocked. There is also an Eco mode that saves battery power if the handset is off the cradle, but it does reduce the handset range - how much I haven't tried yet.In summary, I'm really pleased with this purchase and value for money; my only caveat is that I'm not that keen on the ringtones, but that's just a personal thing.

Oh dear. What a disappointment. I've always felt that Panasonic were the only phones like this worth buying. Previously, the quality of the phone, the design, the durability etc could not be bettered. These are adequate phones, but nothing like the Panasonic phones I have always known. They remind me of the stuff BT sold at one time. Don't get me wrong, they will do the job, it's just that to me there's nothing special about them now. These look and work as if they could have been made by anyone. Whereas before I would never have even considered looking at phones like this from a different manufacturer, since these are so ordinary I would now.The worst aspect is the battery life when not on charge.Previous models could be left lying around and used for ages when not on charge. These seem to be flat in a matter of a few days. I know they should be kept in the cradle but in the real world that's not what happens.I feel like an old and trusted friend has mugged me. I know it's foolish, but I felt quite sad when I saw these... BTW, I cannot understand what on earth these categories are that Amazon are creating. What is "Sheerness"? The only product that I would think of would be stockings or tights. These phones have a rating for volume control. That's not normal. Does it mean there is one? Or that it's easy to use? Or that it produces loud noise?

Having had several trouble free years use of a earlier version myself, I bought this for an elderly person to replace her old phones that were becoming unreliable. The individual items were well packed in the box and in A1 condition. The phones were setup in rooms all situated on ground level with the furthest around 11 metres from the base unit. Setup for the 3 phones and bases, including adding numbers to the internal phone book and adjusting the volume to suit, took me around 20 minutes. Overall an easy installation with relatively little need to delve too deeply into the instruction booklet. In use the screen was clear and the handset and main base unit buttons were easy to identify and use.As she will only use the basic functions of the phone I can't comment on the extra functionality but it's more than adequate for its intended use.My only niggle would be that the base units for the 2 slave phones are very light, even with their respective handsets in place and would benefit from being a little heavier or having a 'grippier' base. This would make it less easy for someone with poor dexterity to knock them off a smooth surface when attempting to lift out the handset. It's an easy DIY fix to overcome but it's something the manufacturer could build in that would help. All in all a good buy.

Had several Panasonic phone/answermachines over the years. Bought this one as a replacement for a previous Panasonic model which got damaged in a powercut. Not as good as previous models we've had. The sound quality during a call, isn't as clear as it could be as in previous models we ve had. The bottom of the handset, unlike other models, isn't flat, so if using on loud speaker, you're unable to stand the handset up whilst speaking & doing jobs. The speaker button is a small button at the bottom, which we had to hunt for in first use. Using the phonebook, if u select the letter for the contact, it will only bring up the contact of the first letter of the button, so you have to scroll through to find.I.e, if you want a contact starting letter 'C', and you press the relevent key 3 times, expecting to go to 'C', it will display the first contact in the 'A', so you have to scan through all the A, B's first to get to 'C'. Haven't had to do this in previous models. Great selection of ringtones & answermachine options. An ok phone otherwise, but different in comparison to others we ve had in this make.

Overall I'm pleased with these phones. The sound quality is very good and handsets seem quite robust. They were easy to set up as the satellite phones were already registered to the base unit and the menu options are self explanatory. My only (minor) grip about the setup is the fact there is no way to adjust the volume of the keypad sound....it's either on or off, and I prefer to have some feedback that I've pressed a key rather than go through the process of punching in a number only to find there's a digit missing. Other than that the options available are excellent. The biggest negative feature is that the charging bases for the satellite phones are extremely light and as such, when you pick up a phone, the base tends to move very easily and, in my case, can fall off the stand I use as a support. I may have to resort to blue tack on the feet to keep the things in place.I would have no hesitation in recommending these phones.....but order some blue tack at the same time if you've run out! My compliments to Amazon, yet again, for getting this package to me earlier than expected.

Received these phones yesterday and installed them including all our phonebook numbers in under an hour. The fact that any number saved on one phone is automatically available on all the others is a big plus. The overall quality is OK and especially good value at this price but it does feel a little less upmarket than previous Panasonic DECT phones I have used. The base unit is quite lightweight and to turn the answering system on you have to push the front, not the top and this means you may need a second hand to steady the unit. These have monochrome display and quite a plain appearance.I replaced my previous Panasonic phone because these have ythe call blocking feature and I am looking for any way to stop receiving those annoying cold calls. So far I haven't really tested how well that works but I notice you can block a maximum of 30 numbers - hope that will be enough!I now realise (post installation) that Panasonic do a more upmarket phone with call blocking (Panasonic KX-TG6761) but that is around twice the price. You get what you pay for.

We have only 3 days' experience of this product. The order was delivered within 3 days from being placed; one cannot ask for better. Goods were exactly as described. Packaging was excellent. As with all Panasonic [and indeed with most South East Asia manufacturers] the Operating Instructions could be a lot clearer, but with patience and after some practice the phones become easier to set up. At least the Manual was included and did not have to downloaded from the web. Thankfully only one of the 3 phones requires the entry of phone numbers etc. as the others are automatically synced for most, but not all, functions. The set of 3 phones represents extremely good value for the price and are a great improvement on the previous set of 10 year old Panasonic cordless phones which they replace, with many more useful functions and a better screen. The ability to block nuisance calls is particularly welcome. We have still to assess the product over a longer period, bur so far we are very pleased with the service from Amazon and with the product.

Setting up seems a bit daunting at first. It’s vital to read the instructions and a nice feature is the ability to enter a code (there’s a long list of them in the instructions) to take you straight to a menu item. This saves going through all the usual menu layers. The other nice feature is putting in entries in a phone list on one phone is then available on all the phones. So if someone on your phone list calls (assuming you have caller display) the caller’s name will show on all screens. So why only 4 stars? The phones have masses of features, but you soon forget what they are unless you constantly have the manual to hand. So an icon may appear about, say, missed unanswered calls, but you’re not sure that’s what it is until you check, or how to access them. I would have preferred a slightly louder volume and the ability to fix the satellites to the wall. But these are very minor points and on the whole I would recommend these phones.

The phones work OK but these are just a facelift of the previous Panasonic DECT phones that we bought circa 10 years ago. Having said that, we've not found the option to send a contact from one handset to another one yet. TBut... the user interface is straight out of the 1980s. It is amazing how DECT phones have not moved on an inch in the last 20 years but GSM phones have delivered iOS, Android, etc etc, As an example it would be nice if some DECT phones had WiFi so it could connect to our address book. On these handsets seems there are too many buttons, or something else fundamentally non-ideal in the ergonomics area as some of the menu/button sequences are distinctly non-intuitive.Still,the basics are all good in this set: clear sound, good ringtones, bright display with clear text. and no problems with signal strength in our house.

Having recently bought the trio set to replace my reliable Gigaset, I'm pleasantly happy with Panasonic. I was a bit reluctant as wanted to go for another Gigaset, I must say the Panasonic is extremely easy to set up. I was up and running in less than 10 minutes without checking the manual. One of the most important feature I like with this model is that there is a dedicated button to transfer calls between the handsets. It's ECO mode is extremely useful too. Name and numbers are in big font size (perfect for elderly parents), quick access buttons on each handset and very light handset. Answerphone can be activated or deactivated in a single touch. The only worry is I don't yet (having not gone through the manual)is how to lock the keypad to keep it safe from kids dialling out.

As usual, these Panasonic phones are superb and excellent value. The base unit now stores your phone book and all other missed call features. This comes in very handy! Great loudspeakers with clarity and volume suitable for a friend who uses a hearing aid. Solidly made, good clear precise buttons and more than enough ringtones you could ever need. I don't understand why some people say the ringtones are too quiet, I find them more than adequate. The more musical ringtones are not quite as loud but that's up to you. The 2 line display is great too, allowing you to enter quite a bit of info on your phonebook entries. The answering machine has many settings to suit your needs. These feel as if they cost a lot more as the build quality is great. Can't knock anything with these!

I needed to replace my old cordless phones, as they were losing functionality (keys were unable to be pressed, display was becoming dimmer and the volume function was not performing accurately). I have been buying Panasonic phones for 20 years, and have always been impressed by their quality, dependability, simplicity, durability and longevity. This phone like other Panasonic cordless models is so easy to install and set up.The display is sharp, the keys are firm and responsive, the volume is very audible, there are a generous selection of ringtones and lots of entry space for frequently dialled numbers. I can't ever see me purchasing any other brands. Panasonic, for me, are the 'de facto'standard for me in home cordless phones and I can't see any reason to change.

I have had a number of different Panasonic phone models which I have found to be marginally better than others on the market. However both my last models were not perfect, most notably in terms of the sound and line quality. After reading the reviews I have settled on this model and so far am really pleased with it - principally because the clarity of the phone calls is very good. This model has less features than my previous ones (monochrome as opposed to colour display and no text facility) but certainly does what I needed in terms of clarity. It's relatively easy to set up (as long as I used the albeit scant instruction booklet) and easy to use.I would recommend this model to anyone looking for a straightforward DECT phone system without bells and whistles.
