The phones arrived next day (a Sunday!) as promised. The 3 phones were well packaged. They were fully charged after 7 hours, as stated. The appearance of the phones is good, being slightly longer than our last Panasonic phones with a much larger, clearer screen which illuminates when being used. Set up for basic use was straightforward, but we thought it odd that the instructions to register a handset to the base unit comes on page 42 of the booklet, as we wanted to make sure that entering contacts in one phone automatically goes to the other two - it wasn’t clear whether registering was necessary before entering contacts or not, but we weren’t going to risk putting 50 numbers in 3 times! The caller’s name and number appears if, like us, you already pay BT for Caller ID - otherwise you have to subscribe to Panasonic I believe. The volume is adequate but not particularly loud, even on speakerphone, but is probably acceptable for most people. The base unit and chargers are not designed for wall fitting so they need to be on a flat surface - unlike our previous phones. We chose non-answerphone phones as we prefer BT’s answerphone facility as we have been amazed how poor some people’s built-in answerphones are - often very quiet or distorted sound! Not many non-answerphone models are available, so we were glad with a limited choice that this model suited us very well! Overall, we think these phones are an excellent buy for the price - £46-odd for the three - great phones from a quality manufacturer for a bargain price!

Very good, base unit with 3 handsets and separate chargers were very cheap (£40) it doesn't have an answerphone to stop bar stewards leaving me pointless messages, it was harder to find a 3 phone model WITHOUT an answerphone than I would have possibly imagined...They work well in my house, I have very thick walls and had a problem with the previous phone this replaces, but they work acceptably well thought the place. The batteries last well as I'm the only idiot around here who puts them back in the chargers for days at a time, and they still work. The only little thing I would say against them, and its really not that bad, is they are a tiny bit muffled, but it really is quite insignificant and could even be the piece of damp string that is supposed to be a phone line that BT put between my house and the exchange box. It has an easy and obvious volume control anyway which is useful.I didn't need the instruction manual once to set it up and use it, so it passed that test with flying colours.Maybe there are better models but all you seem to get for extra $$$ is more features that most of us (well me) don't need, not a better quality sound, or snazzyier design, they may be out there but I never found them after a half hearted search and dismissing them after dubious reviews. Theres probably a B&O phone out these shaped like a violin or something unlikely for £1200 but I never found it and wouldn't want it instead of these anyway.

I bought this set of three phones six years ago for my elderly parents as they needed some new ones and I was keen to get some with larger buttons, a large display and a built-in call blocker. The phones are extremely easy to set up and only the base unit needs to be programmed with phone book entries and these are carried across to the other handsets automatically. There is a wide choice of ringtones, all of which go loud enough to be heard by those naturally hard of hearing. The intercom function is particularly handy as it means they can have hours (okay, minutes..) of fun summoning each other from the kitchen/ garden. Being able to give the phones names (like 'Dining Room', 'Bedroom' etc.......not 'Bob' or 'Margaret'!) means that they can remember in which room to replace the handset after walking round the house with it; saves a needless journey.Unlike many other phones on the market, they don't look particularly fancy but that's a positive factor in my case, as it means they are unburdened by frippery and are easier for my parents to use as a result. My parents are really pleased with them. They've only needed one change of re-chargeable batteries in six years and have worked faultlessly. I'd definitely recommend these, particularly if you're looking for something leaning towards high functionality rather than style.

My old Panasonic phones died on Tuesday afternoon. I bought this new set from Amazon and they arrived on Wednesday. Impressed. It was simple to set up and I liked how it registered the phonebook numbers on the satellite set. Then I hit a problem. No dial tone. On the screen it said check your phone line. I went online to BT and did a check on my phone line and it came up with a fault which they repaired within the hour. I like the large screen and so easy to read who is calling. The phone ringing was loud enough for me. I was experiencing difficulty with that on my old set. Crystal clear on speaker phone which is a huge plus for me as I am quite deaf.My only nark is there is the OK button is not labelled but discovered where it is from manual and here's the slight nark. The text is small and feint in the manual but I'm not taking off a star for that as my eyesight is poor.

Bought these to replace a set of BT phones which had started to play up.I must say that these were extremely easy to set up. One thing that did seem strange is that auto answer on pick up was not the default but it was easy enough to correct. Love the way you can set a feature on the phone by typing in a command code instead of sifting through the menus.Sound quality is excellent and using the phone is very intuitive. Still have to load the phones with pre dial numbers but dont foresee any issues. This would have been a 5 star review but for the wires on the satellite phones. This wire was not as long as those on the BT set (by a few feet)and so the living room phone now has to sit in the window instead of by the sofa so you have to get up to use the phone. The wire is also very stiff so trying to straighten it to run along walls etc. is difficult.

I purchased these Panasonic 'phones to replace an older Panasonic handset, which whilst still working OK, couldn't be paired with other DECT 'phones. The menus and so forth are almost the same as my old Panasonic, and I had things up and running in a couple of minutes. However, there are some grumbles. Build quality is not as good as my old Panasonic -- these handsets feel very plasticky by comparison. Annoyingly, the handsets don't have a flat base, which means that they can't be used in a standing position off stand. But the biggest annoyance is that Panasonic has just e-vamped the range, with new models that have better ring and earpiece volume levels. These 'phones are OK,but if you're hearing impaired for any reason, it might be better to look elsewhere as they certainly aren't the loudest house 'phones that I've owned.

Only bought them a couple of days ago so I can only comment on how easy they were to set up and charge. It took me about ten minutes to put the batteries in and plug all 3 of them into charge in different rooms in the house. Another 10 minutes to enter the time and date and most important phone numbers to start of with which automatically update each phone so all 3 phones are ready to go in 15 minutes. 5 minutes to play around with ring tones and volume and ta dah all done. I don't find them particularly flimsy - they are as robust as the phones they are replacing which I bought 10 years ago and I haven't had a problem putting them back in their cradles. So far so good value for what I paid.I will comment again in a couple of months but don't be put off by the negative comments - Im in my 60's and found it a doddle.

Found the setting up instructions quite awkward to follow, but now it is set up the system works well. Adjusted ring tone to cope with my loss of hearing, and adjusted the volume of the incoming calls. Both volume levels are just right for me now. I have yet to set up the nuisance call blocker, and had hoped that this could be done by the press of a button during a nuisance call. Since the phone number of each call has to be entered by me, in order to ensure it is blocked in future, I am having to wait for such a call before I can proceed. Not a very good system. Since call blocking was an extra that I had not expected, however, it does not take away from the overall quality of the system, and I would say that it is good value for the price.

Purchased to replace an older Panasonic set. Easy to set up. Didn't purchase system with the answerphone. Phonebook entries copied across to other handsets automatically. No function to name the handset nor to save contacts under different categories. Not an issue as wanted a simple easy to use cordless phone. The elderlies that are using it haven't had an issue with it yet. The 'red' and 'green' buttons are quite clear to see and if they press the wrong key they know by pressing the 'red' (end call) key they can easily get back to the main screen. Paid £34.99 for the set and would recommend for people not wanting to much fancy stuff such as different backgrounds, caller announcements or more than a 50 number phonebook.

Needed new phones as mine had given up and I like to have a landline. These I found very easy to set up as although a different brand mostly the same as my old ones. I prefer not to have an answer machine, 1571 works fine, and these can be purchased with or without. You only need to program one handset with numbers etc and any others will sync automatically. You can set it to 'Auto talk' so no buttons to press when answering from charger, this you do need to do on individual handsets. Speed Dial keys again easy to set up if required. The only thing that for me is missing is the ability to assign a different ringtone to known numbers as it saves rushing to phone for unknown callers.Overall these phones suit my needs.

If all you seek is a fairly standard cordless phone that works out of the box then these meet the need. They feel robust and are easy to set up, sound quality is fine. The display as adequate and the buttons feel nice to use. There are no complicated or advanced features to figure out. The very limited call blocking feature is a token gesture that is probably not of much use as you have to manually define each string that you want to block - I think that's tedious and largely impractical given the combinations of numbers employed by nuisance callers, so if call blocking is a primary requirement then probably look elsewhere. Other than that, for the money these are just a good basic phone.

I bought this set via the Amazon Warehouse open box deal for my Mother in Law (see the Broomstick). We needed a good set, at a good price that was operated in the same way as my Mum in Laws previous sets. These fitted the bill and were a really good price for such high quality. So part of my wife's inheritance is intact still.....I was mightily impressed with the ease to set them up and the quality of the phone sets.I could go into a long, long review, cut and paste etc etc but I can vouch, hand on heart that everything you read in the blurb is correct. These are a well made, clear, easy to operate set of digital cordless Phones.Recommended.

Nice clear ring tone (variable in tune, sound and volume) and clear reception. Callers have said that we are clear to them, too. The range is fine for a larger than average three bedroom house, the units work remotely with good signal at the furthest extremes and through several walls. The read-out is clear and the buttons are a good size and easy to use. The hand'sets are also tactile and attractive in appearance. The menus need to be explored on setting up to your taste, but it is easy to 're-set' and start again if your first try fails! The instruction manual is good, certainly not bad by modern standards.

My old Panasonic set failed after eight years of sterling servive, well at least one phone died so I thought it sensible to replace the lot as the cost was very reasonable. They installed very easily and I am very pleased with the functions although the phones and docks are not as substantial as my old ones. The new charging stands and phones are not compatible with the old stands or I would have used the more sturdy old stands with the new phones. All in all good value for money, very well packed and working well so I am a happy customer. If they last as long as the old ones I will be a delighted customer.

I'd had my 2 BT phones for ages, now needed 3, with more options, but easy for me to fathom! On my own, 73, in Lockdown! Who can help?! The instructions were easy, but if the long list of wonderful options was initially scary ... it allowed me to be as quick (and as thick!) as I wanted to be! I just wanted to do it as fast as I could ... in case I missed the call for Covid Vaccinations! I can add features as I go. The best features were that all numbers automatically popped up on all 3 extensions, cables were a good length, and the set-up instructions were pretty age/fear/dim proof! Go for it! ?
