This little spoon allows you to balance it against the rim of the honey jar so that any honey left on the spoon drips back into the jar, thus avoiding waste. Was disappointed when it arrived that it didn't actually balance properly on the rim of the jar and kept falling off. However, the stainless steel is just about flexible enough to manipulate the handle until the perfect balance is achieved. The spoon now sits perfectly against the rim of the jar and does the job it's supposed to do, so overall I'm satisfied with my purchase.
