OK, this is almost certainly some sort of magic. Years of hands, smelling of garlic after preparing dinner are now finally at an end thanks to this little bar of stainless steel magic. Some science nerd can probably explain properly how it works but I honestly don’t care. It claims to remove the smell of onion, garlic, etc. and it does exactly that. It does claim to remove unpleasant food odours such as meat and fish as well as garlic and onion. Personally, if my fish or meat had an odour that I would describe as unpleasant I wouldn’t be eating it or touching it. For that reason, I’ve only tested this against garlic and onion.The box seemed to be rather cheaply made but considering it’s destined for the recycling rather than further use for something else,

This garlic soap is utterly fantastic.I am an avid cook and a massive fan of fresh garlic - I use it almost every time I cook! To say I'm sick of having hands that constantly smell like garlic would be the understatement of the century.So while I was looking for things to get rid of the smell, I came across the idea of stainless steel soap. I was a little skeptical - how could rubbing my hands with metal possibly get rid of the smell? However, I was desperate, so I searched Amazon for garlic soap and this item came up.I have never been so happy to be proven wrong! This works actual miracles. I chop fresh garlic, get the oil all over my hands, but then a quick rub of this bar of steel under cold water and the smell is completely gone!

I love using the stainless steel soap and always keep one by the kitchen sink.I've purchased a couple of these over the years and one thing I have fond is that you don't have to pay a lot of money to get something that although simple... simply works.There is nothing worse than preparing smelly food such as fish, onion, garlic and have the smell lingering despite washing my hands thoroughly with my usual soap. Not a problem anymore thanks to this little bar of magic.No soap required, simply rinse hands in water, use as though it were a real bar of soap, working between both hands and fingers for a minute or so and then voila...it's as easy as that.Bye bye nasty odours,

Ive had a few of these for about 10 years and would not be without them, you use them keeping them very wet, rubbing every bit of your smelly hands for a couple of minutes to get rid of odours, and I always keep one in the fridge on a wet piece of kitchen roll next to anything smelly like onions or fish and garlic and it eliminates nasty smells from your fridge as long as you keep it wet, great near toilets in a shallow dish with water in it just enough to cover the bottom of the steel soap or several dotted around the lounge if you are a smoker, dont know how it works but they do, but they must be wet to work,

Well, aside from taking over a month to get here... I fully expected my mitts to be saved from stinking to high heaven of garlic, being that we love the stinky stuff in this house. If porridge tasted better with it in, believe me I would use it!Anyway, after years of "washing" my garlicky hands using a stainless steel cooking utensil, I decided to treat myself to one of these. It would have been easier to go to Asda and buy one, of course it would, but yes, I'm lazy! So, it finally arrived and I used it that evening...miraculous!!So, if you're willing to wait a month to free your hands of garlicky whiffs, this is for you!

I have had one of these for many years now and purchased this for a friend who spends a lot of his working day dealing with raw onions and garlic. He too has found a huge benefit to this as he's been unable to completely get rid of the onion smell, even after showering! It's also great for rubbing over your chopping board to remove the smell from there too. A highly recommended product.

Have recently begun using more fresh garlic when cooking but hate the residual smell on my hands. Had read that this would eliminate it and am delighted to report that IT WORKS! I rubbed it on my hands under running water and, even before using actual soap, the smell had gone. Don't know how it works, but it does! Very happy with my purchase.

It's fabulous for eliminating the odour you get on your hands when you chop onions. Just need to rub it in your hands with running water and it takes away the smell. It's like magic. Perfect for when you open a tin of tuna and the liquid always seems to spill onto your hands. Vanishes as soon as you use the stainless steel bar.

Bought to replace one of these that we had for years. Does the job as good as the last one. Magically gets rid of stubborn smells after preparing fish and garlic etc.Delivery was a little slow but at such a low price who could complain. Comes complete with a plastic dish as per Amazon picture.

Yes it does!! Works a treat!! I thought it wouldnt but use this under running water as you would a bar of soap, It actually does take away the smells from your hands!!It is perfect size for your hand and the little dish keeps it to hand and safe on the side. Wonderful

I am a garlic fiend. I do not know how to cook with an appropriate amount of garlic.Using this with a little hand soap and being sure to make sure the little bar makes contact with all the nooks and crannies of your fingers will eliminate all smells from you hands.

It’s cheap, it works and it comes with a cute little holder. It’s one of those products that you’ll likely buy once and last a lifetime and wonder what you ever did without it. Happy with this product - I’ve given a few away as additions to hose warming gifts.

This really works! After preparing loads of salads and coleslaw for parties over Christmas and New Year I used this on every occasion. No more onion smelly hands. I have not tried with garlic or fish, but for salad and cooking onions it worked well for me.

I bought this because I love a gadget. Not really sure how it works but it does seem to work and work well for onion and garlic smells. It comes in a little soap dish and looks great. I have just ordered another one. Many thanks to the seller.

it's a light weight bar and comes with its own plastic dish. Get's rid of smells from your hands simply and quickly. Just use with a little soap and move the stainless steel bar through your hands and fingers like a bar of soap. Marvellous.
