For about 2 years of owning an android phone, I had been purchasing cheap £1 cables from eBay and poundland of which lasted me a couple of weeks up to a month max. At the time I thought it was worth it since I'm only spending £1 on a cable, however when I actually looked at the big picture I was spending much more than needed just for cables. I decided to invest in buying these cables to see if they were really worth it and they do not disappoint. The fact that they come with an 18 month warranty was a major factor in me purchasing these cables since it basically means I would have working cables for 18 months for less than half the price of what I used to spend on cheap cables with less hastle. When these cables arrived (3*3ft)they came in a simple Anker box with a small leaflet with very minimal packaging, making the unboxing experience very pleasant. They also came with Anker velcro ties to keep cables neat and tidy when not being used. For the wires themselves the quality is phenomenal. Thanks to Anker's aramid construction this makes the wire itself very durable and the cable itself is thicker than normal which can be felt as soon you come in contact. Also at the tip of the usb and micro usb are incased in one piece which greatly increases the durability of the wire as it eliminates the risk of the wire ripping apart. In conclusion, these cables are very good value for money and are worth investing in. The durability and sturdiness of the wire is very good and if that is not enough to convince you, you still have the 18 month warranty as a backup. 100% would recommend.

I am extremely pleased by the Anker Powerline Micro USB cables – they came securely packaged in the Anker box, all tied with the supplied Anker re-usable Velcro cable ties. The product is heavier than other USB cables of its size, however this I believe to be a good thing in that it assures durability. The rubber coating of the cable in a smooth finish allows it to be bent backwards and forwards with no damage to the copper wires inside, and the firm plastic at the cable ends prevents any damage from bending cable ends. Despite ultimately fitting an industrial use, this cable feels premium and well-designed.The cables perform well – they allow for quick charging of my device which is partly due to the somewhat short lengths, but also the quality of the coppers inside. The cable clicks into my phone and the Micro USB connection is secure, however less secure than that of the Anker Powerline+ (see https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-PowerLine-Premium-Motorola-Smartphones/dp/B019Q4TJZC). The cables, unlike many other cheaper alternatives, does not fall out due to the securing pins of the Micro USB connecter being just aligned as not to damage the device, but also to hold a strong connection.I have been a purchaser of Anker devices for many years now and would have no hesitation in recommending their products to consumers or businesses. Their prices are incredibly low for the quality of product and quality of service that they offer. As far as I’m concerned, Anker is the go-to standard for mobile phone accessories and I would purchase again.

I have used a number of different types of USB cable brands over the years, and most of the time, they nearly all wear out, and even well known brands. I have only just received these cables, so I can't comment on the longevity of them, but let me make a product comparison when charging my Motorola mobile phone. Around the same time, I purchased Belkin cables, they usually make great reliable cables. The Belkin cables will not reliably charge my mobile phone, just apply a tiny amount of pressure to the connector and it starts charging, I can't sit there holding the cable to enable the phone to charge up! There is a problem with the Belkin fabric grey cables mating with the contacts in the female USB connector on the phone. However, the Anker cables work absolutely beautifully.I suspect the problem is down to a slightly worn micro USB connector on the phone. That said, which do you want, cables that only charge the phone when the phone socket is brand new and unworn, or do you want a cable that will continue to work reliably when the phone connector is a bit worn?So I shall be dispensing with fancy coloured cables and textured cables and sticking to a cable which I know to be reliable from now on.So these are my new favourite USB power cables.

I got these to pair with a Caseflex 6 port USB charger and replace a 3m USB cable I was using previously. The great thing about the Caseflex charger is that it shows how much current is being drawn by the connected device. With the 3m cable connected my phone was charging at a value of 0.63 amps. When replaced with one of these Anker cables it was capable of charging at the full rate of 0.99A. Ok, so it wasn't a fair test as these cables are only 1/3rd of the length and you would expect the longer cable to have higher resistance, lower charging rates etc. That said, these cables are far superior build quality, they connect solidly and don't have any issues with having to move it a bit this way and that in order to get it connected properly (my previous cable was very fiddly to get it in the right 'position' for charging). Overall the packaging and presentation was excellent. I will most certainly buy Anker products in future.

I've already got a couple of braided Anker USB cables which are top quality and found myself needing a few more. This three pack was a very good deal and while not braided (which seems to stop my cats trying to eat them :P), the power line USB cables seem to be even better quality. I've used cheap cables in the past and while they generally work, the connections can be loose and they generally very slow to charge devices. This isn't the case with he Anker products, when used with a high quality charger, devices charge in ours, if not quicker - with the lower quality cables, you often need to leave a device on charge overnight. I'd imagine that data transfers would run at high speed with these cables too, although it's not something I've tried yet.The Velcro cable tidy that comes supplied with the cables is a nice additional touch and as usual, the products supplied by Anker exceed expectations and come at a reasonable price

I used to buy only the cheapest micro-USB cables I could find, on the basis that I didn’t want to spend too much money on such a transient product. Invariably, these cheap quality cables would end up breaking within a few weeks. After consulting some online reviews, I got fed up of all this back-and-forth. I decided it might be worth my while to purchase a GOOD QUALITY micro-USB cable for once, in the hopes that it would last longer. The brand that people kept recommending to me was Anker, so that’s the brand I decided to purchase.Well, I’m happy to report that my plan worked! The quality of these cables is extraordinary. I use them multiple times every day: as connector cables, to charge my smartphone,to charge my tablet, etc, and even after weeks of heavy use they’re still just as solid as the day I bought them. I can only imagine they’re going to be equally solid for years to come!

I dissected one of these cables to see if the quality was really what Anker claims. I can tell you it is, the +5VDC conductor is huge in comparison to the generic USB cables on the market. In short the voltage drop was 1/10th what it was with a generic USB with a 1.35A load. This cable has two layers of shielding, a braided and a foil layer.Anker cable no load voltage 5.12VDCAnker cable 1.35A load 5.00VDCGeneric cable no load voltage 5.12VDCGeneric cable 1.35A load 4.05VDCThe generic cable was so poorly built that it would start to heat up after only 10-15 seconds of use, a 1.35A load on USB is not big. The Anker cable showed minimal (if any) thermal change even after 10 min.The attached photo shows the Anker cable after 10 min.See the full indepth review on my blog, including thermography.http://www.gearandtechblog.com/2015/11/10/usb-cables-does-premium-equal-better/

We have used several cheaper charging cables over the years as replacements for Samsung originals, but inevitably they all have to be discarded, either for their lack of charge power or their lack of durability. These Anker cables have only been in use for a short time since purchase, but I can already tell how much better quality they are in comparison to the cheaper options out there. That's not to say that these are even expensive, in fact they're very good value for the 3 pack, but they are a much more superior quality than those you can pick up off the shelf elsewhere. Faster charging and with a sturdy connector point that will hopefully mean their use will continue to be durable.Really impressed so far and will be back for more that with different length options if they continue to hold up to frequent use over a long period of time.

I received the 3-pack of 3' cords and they have been great in the short time I have had them. We've all had some cords that don't seem to charge the device as expected. I have kept these next to my night stand to charge my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, my Dell tablet, and a portable charger or two. It's great with my Qualcomm quick charger.Material & Strength: Cable is made from PVC and seems extremely strong. The cables are still flexible (not super flexible) but great for my needs. I can't see this cable fraying or getting damaged from use due the the superior build quality. The fastener that come with each cable is a nice bonus to keep cords from getting messy.I have bought many of Anker's offerings through Amazon. This review is based on a sample offered to me for test and evaluation, and I am offering a review that is fair and honest.

I bought this three months ago, so maybe I am not the best one talking about durability (they are like the first day tbh).I have a funny story with this cables: I have a s7 edge and I had charging problems. The phone wasn't charging, I have to put it in a very specific position and the minimum movement stopped the charge. When I said minimum is minimum. I tried several cables (new, old, friends cables...) and the same. I thought that since the phone has +3years I should think if I should buy a new phone or fix the charging port. What if I say to you that all this problem was solved when I bought this cables? I was shocked! (as I told, I have tried NEW cables). The fit perfectly, they didn't move, they are sturdy...I would purchase this brand if I need another type of cables, for sure. Totally recommended.

Well, before I tought any usb cable is the same tham the other and the stupid snobbish people buys the "expensive" brands. I was smart and I bought my cables from the Poundland. And again and again. The cheap cables haven't content enough anything what you need for a fast and effective charge.I use my Note 4 on my motorbike as a satnav. Full brightness on the screen. GPS on. Bluetooth on. Data on. With cheap cables (or/end weak 12V usb charger) I got the charging indicator on on my phone but slowly I lost my battery power even if the charging light was on.Now ot can keep my battery full.Another thing it looks stronger and hopefully will not break easily as the chep ones at the neck.I was stingy before but I spent more and had a bud result. Now I spent slightly more and it just works.

Best features has to be the material quality. It seems as though everytime I have used it over the past month it feels super sturdy and maintains that satisfying click to show that it has been inserted correctly.Having bought many different brands from the cheap, to the branded and the heavily braided ones, I can say without a doubt these will last a very very long time.I currently use one wire for the PS4 and it has an incredibly tight and firm grip on the controller which means it doesn't just loosen without some effort. The second wire I use for my phone which I charge frequently. Being high quality it allows fast charging even at this low price point. The final wire is an extra and I doubtI will ever need to use it considering how durable these wires are and will continue to be

I've bought several Anker products, I personally own two blue tooth speakers, who's sounds are incredible for their size, two powder banks, which charge my phone and tablet many times over while away, and a set of usb cables. All used and abused during many camping and canoeing trips, but are so robused they are still as good as ever. One blue tooth speaker was accidentally dropped to the bottom of a hot tub, but still works perfectly ??Besides my own I've also bought them as gifts for friends and family, and others bought them after borrowing mine.Who have also recommended them to others. The only negative I can think of, is that I wish I was on commission for all the sales I've generated ?

I just got an email through asking me to review this when just last night I was trying to find a way to contact you folks at Anker about an issue I'm having.. One of the cables I got doesn't seem to be working properly, not having enough power go through to charge my devices and losing connectivity to the device every now and then for noreason when everything is secure. I'm still giving 4 stars because while the cable isn't working right after only 2 weeks (or there abouts) the cable itself is sturdy yet flexible. My cable hasn't gone through much bending at all,so I'm unsure as to why it's having problems.. it was fine up until about 4 days ago I think..

I bought these Anker branded cables as I wanted quick charge cables, after my original Samsung have not been performing so well recently. I choose Anker as I have found the brand to be of quality compared to unknown chinese makes and we'll packaged. I have tested these cables and on my S9 phone have seen upto 8amps draw and on my battery pack 7amps. They are very well made, decent cable thickness, good fexabilty and a positive connection both ends. Packaging is good nicely boxed and each cable has a velcro strap. They might cost a few quid more but you get a cable you can trust, this my new go to cable. Buy it you won't regret it.
