It's hard to innovate with a simple item like a USB cable, but Anker has managed to do just that. These cables are better than many of the OEM cables that I've come across, and have many features which really make them great to use on a day to day basis. For starters, the Micro-USB plug on this cable is quite small, without a lot of excess plastic. This is very important if you use a case with your phone, as many cases only have a small cut-out at the bottom for the charging port. With my previous 2 phones (Nexus 5 and 6), many of the cases I tried didn't work well with other micro-USB cables due to them having a bulky connector. Not a problem with the Anker cables! The small size of the connector really helps here.Another feature that I really like is that Anker stamped their logo onto one side of the micro-USB connector. This has the functional benefit of helping you identify which side of the connector is which, and reduces the chance of you attempting to plug in the cable upside down by accident. This feature really came in handy with my Nexus phones, which have an inverted micro-USB connector on the bottom. As far as the actual cable portion is concerned, these cables are very flexible, which I find to be a huge bonus. Due to the flexible nature of these cables, there is less stress exerted on your phone's USB connector when you are using the phone with the cable plugged in. It also makes the cables easy to roll up and store in your bag.Lastly, I like the variety of cable lengths that Anker offers. I have a few of their 6-foot cables for use in my house, and the extra length is handy when you want to use the phone while it's plugged in. I also have a few of the 1-ft cables stored in my bag for when I'm on the go and need to charge my phone or tablet from a portable battery pack. The short cable helps prevent clutter in your bag and on your desk.Attached is a picture showing how compact the plug on the Anker cable is compared to a standard Micro-USB cable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Try the Power of PowerLine, November 11, 2015By Danny Poyner Jr.Edit ReviewDelete ReviewThis review is from: Anker [4-Pack] PowerLine Micro USB (1ft) - The World's Fastest, Most Durable Charging Cable for Samsung, Nexus, LG, Motorola, Android Smartphones and More (Black)¡ (Wireless Phone Accessory)Let me just give the TL;DR up front: If you need a cable this length, buy these.I have a bunch of Anker products at this point. Their cables are some of my favorites. I have some of the PowerLine lightning cables as well. They also are well worth the money.First, if you're looking at 1ft cables, you know why you personally need 1ft cables. Even if you're an Apple fan like me,you still have a bunch of devices that have micro USB cables. You will not go wrong with ANY of the PowerLine cables.I use these for charging things like headphones, watches, Xbox One controllers, and a bunch of random devices. I never need any of these devices to be more than a few inches away from the charging source at any given time. These cables are great for that purpose. These cables have proven to be very durable up to this point. I have never had any issues with any PowerLine cables. Time will tell how long they will hold up, but I'm very encouraged so far. These even come with very handy little Velcro cable ties too. Even better.I have nothing negative to say about these. For the price, just buy them.I was provided this product in exchange for my honest evaluation.

After using numerous micro USB cables of different shapes and sizes I have come to realize not all of them are created equal. Some cables fit the device properly but do not perform as well. Others do the job well but are not strong enough for long term use. I was in the hunt for some Micro USB cables for my Anker 60W 5-Port Family-Sized Desktop USB Charger so that I don’t need to keep removing them from other devices for charging. I was given these powerline Micro USB cables in exchange for an honest review. The 4 pack of 1 foot cables are perfect since they will be always be attached to my charger and connect to the devices to be charge when necessary. Anker also offers these cables in multiple sizes. These cables are built solid with durable bullet proof kevlar fiber. Compared to other flat micro USB cables I noticed the charging is noticeably faster. These cables are built to provide the fastest possible charge. The two ends of each cable: the micro USB connector and the USB male connector are molded in a strong PVC housing that gives these cables a long life. Even for the one foot version, Anker provides an attached velcro for each individual cable, which is really a nice addition. I see no cons using these cables and they have become a nice companion for my 5 port USB desktop charger.

I purchased 2 x 4 pack of 1ft USB Micro-B cables as I wanted to use them with an Anker 6 port USB charger for charging HTC Vive controllers and trackers. I've purchased several Anker products before and have great success so I knew their cables should be decent quality, and, there will be excellent after care support if anything goes wrong with them. These are nice short cables which are perfect to use with the Anker charging hubs. I was previously using some coiled up 1.8m leads but they looked quite messy and were easier to tangle up. These cables seem to do a much better jobThey arrived in a nice small box an there was no wasted space or excess packaging. These cables feel well made and have a fairly thick wire (so hopefully they are well shielded).Despite being quite thick the cable is very flexible and also comes with a Velcro strap so you can keep it coiled up when not in use etc.Pros:- Good quality cables- Velcro strap for cable management- Anker support is very goodCons:- Only available in a 4 pack. It would be nice if these cables were also available in a 2 pack or 6 pack as well because I had to buy 2 x 4 packs and ended up with 2 cables that I probably won't use.

This review is for Anker [4-Pack] PowerLine Micro USB (1ft)The cable and its ends look and feel strong and durable.Length (1 ft) includes connectors at both ends. The concept of cables made from Kevlar fibre sounds interesting, will wait to see how well these cable holds up over time. The cables are compatible with my case for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7Charge speed is slightly better compared to my original cables that came with Nexus 7 using the original Nexus wall charger with both cables. The cables on both sides slide in and out of my devices with ease.I find the short sized cables ideal for use on the move, when using with external battery packs and car chargers.I use longer version of this cable with wall chargers.I kept these extra cables in my travel pouch along with my Anker portable chargers, so I dont have to hunt and pack my original chargers when I plan to travel for business or go camping.I got a sample by Anker for trial and my honest unbiased review. These cables are good quality and well worth spending the extra money compared to cheap ones on ebay.

Let's be honest, you can't argue with Anker quality in USB cables. I've bought a load of their cables over the last year, and every one is still working. All the knock-offs have either died, or become loose and untrustworthy. They come in a little box, with each cable tied by a great little piece of velcro, which most of Anker's cables come with. It makes keeping them tidy in your bag a lot easier, and the little velcro ties are designed nicely so you can keep the velcro attached to the cable, and not have to go chasing it across the office when it pings off.The fact that you get four cables for this price is amazing. I've put these all over the place, but I have to say: 1ft is shorter than you think! When on the desk, there's barely enough length to have a phone plugged into the USB port and hold it in your hand at a sensible angle. So, I'd recommend these cables to someone who wants to just have lots of devices hanging off a hub, or for external devices which don't need much manual use.

Having used these cables happily for 1 year, to then find that they eventually stop working is not a satisfactory experience. I take good care and these cables are left in the wall next to the bed stand, and powered off when not in use. Very low bending occurs as they are hardly moved, only to connect and disconnect phone for charging. All cables in the 3 pack of 3ft length have given up the ghost. There was a point where the cables needed to be held at a certain angle to charge, but even that is now no longer possible. I have even tried to prize the springs forward so that they create a decent contact, but this has not improved matters.Update, 29/3/2017 - customer services promptly came to the rescue and helped resolve my problem.Replacement products are currently working fine. Excellent, courteous communications from Anker have re asserted my confidence in the products I buy from them.

Just got to jump in and say these are really, really good. I always keep my phone attached to a power bank due to my excessive phone use and I go through USB leads like there is no tomorrow. I have tried many other leads all of which last a month at best. However after shoving my phone in my bag, picking up my phone with the power back dangling from the USB and putting a lot of stress on the leads I am still using the first one out of the pack. I am scatty and I normally destroy these things and I have tried multiple brands and Anker has by far been the best. I will definitely buy these again but with how strong they are it may be a while till I need too.

It's ANKER. That says it all. Excellent quality. Supports fast charging. Well packaged. I normally use Belkin which last a couple maybe three months. Before they become loose fitting. It will be interesting to see how long these last. I charge my phone multiple times per day. (Samsung Galaxy S7). Only 1ft long. Which is what I want on my wireless charger. No dangling cables at this lengh. I need some longer ones for my tablet. I highly recommend ANKER. They come well packaged. Also each of the four cables has a ring type strap. To help keep them tidy as in not tangled up with others. I'll 're review after a few months to the longevity of them.

Love these little things, they are good quality and well made cables, from a trustworthy brand, that do their job just fine! They each come wrapped by a small velcro band thats great for when you want to put the cables away but keep them safe,Measures in at about 30cm so pretty much a foot which is great for when you don't need a ton of excess cable laying about.Honestly I can't fault these, they do as they say on the tin and at a great price, will definitely get more if I have the need :)

**Disclaimer: I received this product free of charge from ANKER for a honest review** Anker is continuing to surprise me with the quality to price ratio of their cables. These 3 micro USB cables feel great and seem to be able to handle whatever you throw at them. Ive dealt with many generic ones in the past and Anker's cables beats every one hands down. These cables are great for anything that uses micro USB, personally I use them with my tablet and USB power banks and they work great!

30.4.2016

These are really well made high quality cables that do what they are supposed to do. I have a 4 port fast charge capable device and these cables are the perfect length that minimise cable clutter on my desk and I can trust that the cable will deliver the correct charge to many devices. There are too many cheap cables on the market that won't support higher amperage fast charging but I can always trust anger to deliver a quality product.

You know when you buy USB cables and you think "1ft will be enough to reach from the wall socket to my bedside table!". It's not. You shouldn't definitely buy longer ones.Thankfully, my intention when buying this item was to connect USB devices to a power source that wouldn't need to be moved around/looked at/accidentally knocked off a bedside table every night, and for this - they're absolutely perfect. Great quality cables.

31.3.2017

These cables are just perfect. I was wracking my brains trying to figure out why my Raspberry Pi 3 kept having problems with voltage drops which ruined performance in games. I tried so many different cables -- including cables that I thought would be good quality, like ones that came with expensive phones/tablets and an Xbox one controller -- but only these Anker cables stopped the voltage drops. Highly recommended!

Update: 01 October 2017. Replacement cable was sent following my previous review and I am happy to report that it is working well.Bought these to use in the car to enable Android Auto from my mobile and / or tablet to the car infotainment system. Unfortunately they do not perform and we get little or no connection between the car and the phone. Perfect length for the car, though. Overall disappointing.
