First and foremost let me get this out of the way. I received this cable for free in exchange for a fair an unbiased review. What you're about to read represents my honest, unvarnished opinion on the product. It's tough to get too in the weeds in talking about a USB cable. Just about all of them "work" for anyone's standard purposes. Plug one end in, plug the other in and let the charging/data transfer commence. So why buy a nicer one? Especially if it runs a little bit pricey? To me it boils down to two key factors. Durability and design. The Powerline+ is without a doubt the sturdiest USB cable I've ever come across. Even more so than Anker's other nylon braided cables that I previously thought of as the gold standard in the durability department.I've seen all manner of cheaper cables fall apart under regular wear and tear but the thick braiding of this cable has stood up to everything thrown at it. It's flexible enough to be used in all of my devices but there's a satisfying firmness to the cord as well. Bend it into an S and it stays in an S. You probably don't need an S shaped USB cable but, well, if it can stand up to that it should be able to stand up to whatever accidental bends it encounters.Secondly, there's no getting around the fact that it looks great. A vivid bright red with black connectors. Plugged into a black laptop or USB hub it's a seamless and clean look. It definitely stands out if in a pile with other cords as well if you have a tangle of them anywhere. So, yeah, a nicer USB cable isn't re-inventing the wheel or anything but there's no getting around the fact that this is as nice of a USB cable as I've come across. Treat yo' self.

I recently received a copy of this cable from Anker in exchange for a fair and honest review, and I'm in love with it. Anker has stepped up to the plate once again with a premium product. The cable comes shipped in a cardboard package which I think is a nice detail and as always includes Anker's are you satisfied card and all information one would need to contact them if unsatisfied (which I doubt many would be).The cable is a vibrant and shiny red cordage, possibly nylon and quite firm. It does not wilt under it's own weight but remains very easily twisted and folded to fit the application it is needed for. Both Male and Female USB plugs feel very good in quality and all pins and connectionsinside look very well manufactured; the Anker inserts are a nice detail on the plugs which add to the premium feel of the product.I've paired my PowerLine+ cable with an Anker PowerCore 10400 portable charger and I can't say enough good things. The charge times on my LG G4 are stunning. From 50% to full charge in about 10 minutes; The IQ charging capabilities and cable quality really makes a power house team for charging on the go.The cable fits fine with no issues on my LG G4 with Spigen slim armor case. Anker has done an excellent job in keeping the cable head dimensions very small. Attached to my review are photos showing item dimensions in millimetres.Over all I'm very impressed by Anker once again; I've been a customer for many years and have always been beyond satisfied with the quality of their products and their staff. A very open and eager company when it comes to customer satisfaction.

The cable was shorter than I expected, being maybe 20cm rather than 30cm but this worked in my favour. The cable felt as heavy as a normal cable would, but the braiding was defineitly a nice touch. I've purchased other braided cables before but this has a more premium feel to it. Its difficult to describe, but it feels like it wouldn't fray very quickly.I use the short cable with my macbook and my iPad. I use the app Duet (lets you use ios devices as a wired monitor) frequently and this cable is good length to keep the iPad close to the laptop without having a lot of slack in the cable. There weren't any hiccups in framerate so the cable didn't seem to bring performance down. The red finish of the cable also just looks cooler than the standard white lightning cable. If you have a powerbank, this cable would let you charge your stuff in a bag kind of conveniently without having a lot of excess cabling.Overall this cable does what it's suposed to do. Links USB and lightning devices with a short cable and looks pretty good.

This cable was sent to me by the manufacturer who asked me to try it out and review it - they stressed that I am free to make either negative or positive comments as I choose. This is really how all cables should be made.I have tried it on a couple of devices, a kindle and then to charge a portable speaker. I like the option of having the shorter length. It saves trailing cables across the floor although of course a buyer would need to choose the length that suits them. The plugs on each end appear to be top quality and rather than fit loosly around the cable they are moulded firmly on. The cable itself is very tough and reinforced - looks like it would deal well with being scrunched up in a pocket or squashed in a case. The plugs are a good fit and stay securely in place.Although there are many cables for sale at a cheaper price, for the extra few pounds having a cable that will last for years is ertainly worth it to me.

This is without a doubt the best cable I have had of this type. I've found that a lot of USB cables never quite fit my phone, even the cables that came with the phone are slightly loose in the socket which never fills me with confidence as there's the chance of movement and consequential damage to the socket. This cable fits with very reassuring tightness; you don't have to force it, it just fits in the socket with no movement. The braiding is a really nice touch, very good quality and gives the cable the feel of the old flexi-curves I used to use at school...you can almost mold it in to shape and it makes coiling it up easier as it just stays in place, even without the attached velcro cable tie.Seriously considering replacing my existing charge cables with a set of these - really impressed with the cable, production is just as good as the other Anker products I have.

This is an amazing cable. I have absolutely no fears of this cable fraying or the cable splitting at the connector ends. The 1ft. length is great for connecting my phone to my backup battery. It makes it easy to hold both in your hand at the same time with no worries about loose cables hanging all over the place. For all intents and purposes this cable might as well be permanently attached to my battery. Sitting at a restaurant recharging my phone, same thing battery, phone, no more cable than absolutely necessary. Like all other Anker products this cable has the exact same quality and superior construction that you would expect. Definitely worth the price.I now have to go and buy a couple of these cables in the 3ft and 6ft lengths to use in my car.

Really robust, this cable feels like it's going to last along time. The rubber ends are very durable, they are made of a dense rubber and don't peel when scratched. The Kevlar fabric around the cable has a nice feel to it and the cable has a good thickness. The cable is somewhat shapeable, by that I mean if you bend the cable it will keep the bend without springing back. I find this quite useful and it doesnt feel like it is damaging the cable in and way. The actual metal connectors are also of good quality. These are by far the best cables I have bought for my gadgets. I've tried a few but they are well worth the extra cost. The cable comes with a high quality Velcro tie wrap is a welcome extra keeps your cables tidy if you have a few of these.

This is fantastic, tiny product. First, the colour: it looks different to all of my other cables plugged into the USB hub, so it's easy to spot, without fishing around through all the cables. Also, it's the perfect length. A few cm, so it doesn't get tangled with all the other wires. And the build is super. Because this is an Anker Powerline product, it is strengthened at the flexible parts at each end. That means it's less likely to break, and hopefully it'll have a longer life. This is the third Powerline cable in my house, and I hope to switch over many more of my wires to this format.Disclaimer: I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation, and I promised that my review is fair and honest.

My Anker power bank was taking an age to charge. Out of warranty, but had always been slow and I was tired of the whole performance.I emailed them. Got a reply next working day!Suggested amperage was enough - perhaps I needed a faster cable. Hadn't even considered that! They did NOT "push" this cable or even mention it. Anyway, I bought it after trawlng through Amazon, and full charge no problem now.If you have problems with slow charging - worth a thought.I cannot confirm durability, but looks the job!Very happy, as the power bank is a lifeline when I go away..

I bought this cable after almost giving up on getting Android Auto to stay connected on my Sony XAV-AX3005DB car head unit. After doing a bit of online research this cable came up again and again and I decided to give it a shot. Basically, it works! I got the 1ft grey cable as apparently the shorter the better for Android Auto data transfer. The cable itself feels very sturdy and well made with the ends clicking in nicely. If you are going spare trying to get Android Auto to work in your car, drop everything and try this lead... It worked for me!

Excellent little cable which I bought to use with my portable charger (also Anker... It's such a good brand).I really like the braided cables, gives a bit of a colour change plus they seem to be of better build quality. As per usual with Anker cables, you also get the cable tidy built in allowing for easier transportation/storage.Overall, I am very happy with product and highly recommend it.

Outstanding quality products! I only recently discovered Anker! Iv already replaced all my device cables with Anker cables and am really pleased! They are way more robust than the standard cables that come with things and transfer speeds are better a lot of the time too! I'm now looking into Anker devices like chargers and battery banks as well now I am getting the most from my devices!

Another fantastic cable from Anker, my second one. First one was a lightning cable for iPhone, iPad etc and this micro USB cable will be all I will ever need. Great build quality and feels really solid. Well done again Anker and also received the medium power bank with it and on charge as I write this. Don't hesitate to purchase these products, used daily and really pleased.

Discovered Anker products around 5 years ago after living through many failed products in the iphone cable and charger space. Since discovering Anger it has been my only choice. I have many cables all over the house for easy charging points, on my desk at work, and carry small versions around the world on business trips each month, they have never let me down.

I was given this product to review which I will do without bias.Nice quality product that was packaged well and in mostly cardboard materials.Has a great quality finish and makes you feel confident that it will last a good number of years.Does exactly what it says on the tin and has caused me no issues in the couple of weeks I've had it.Worth a look.
