In truth, there isn't a great deal you can write about a cable. This is white. 1.8m in length. Has a USB connector at one end and a Lighting connector at the other. It is sturdy, well made and durable. It offers additional protection at the parts of the cable that will experience the most wear and tear, the parts just below the connectors. In other cables and leads I have purcahsed these are the two areas where wear is most noticeable and the areas that eventually leads to the wires becoming exposed even broken. Anker have factored this into their design. The cable is made for Apple products that use a Lighting connector. It also states that it offers faster charging with industry-leading technology built in.I have noticed my phone does appear to charge quicker!Anker products are MFI certified. So at least you won't see that message appear on your Apple screen that basically says you've just wasted your money. When you buy a cable you expect it to do two things 1) work and 2) have some longevity. That hasn't always been the case UNTIL I discovered Anker cables.Buying an Anker product also ensures you're purchasing total confidence in your product. Anker demand nothing less than total satisfaction form all their products. So confident are Anker in this PowerLine II Llighting cable's durability that they offer a Lifetime Warranty (Conditions apply).Anker offers brilliantly made quality products at affordable prices. Since buying my first Anker cables some four years ago, I instantly became a convert and not just for cables but for their phone cases, screen guards, chargers and Power Core portable charging packs, I can safely say I have never been disappointed in any product purchased. To ensure that they offer total satisfaction to their customers, they offer an unrivalled level of customer care and support. They genuinely care that your experience of their products is the best possible. When you purchase an Anker product you are purchasing quality and durability at an affordable price.Anker products are definitely worth exploring, in my opinion.

Since my first iPod touch I've purchased several brands of lightning cables from the trusty pound shop specials when in a fix on holiday, to Anker and Amazon Basics for home and work use (avoiding the higher cost of genuine Apple cables). While the pound shop specials and Amazon held up for a fair amount of time to make them a cost-effective solution I primarily have now used Anker for the past 2-3 years due to their durability, lack of issues with compatibility and 18 months warranty if things go awry without intervention from myself (such as cutting the cable, yep it's happened). You’re probably thinking however why the need for a 6ft cable? Yep thought about that myself in the past, the standard sizes have always served me well. As of recent though I've started to use my iPhone as a dash camera, which is brilliant but causes no end of battery drain on long journeys. Thanks to the 6ft length, the cable is now permanently installed behind the dashboard for constant power without getting tied up in cable during a gear change! The robustness of the cable is crazy and to show that Anker likes to put their money where their mouth is, they have increased the warranty but not by just a few months. No, they now guarantee this cable for life, yes LIFE. Now this could be truly the last cable you’ll ever need to buy. Cable has been tested to survive over 12000 bend cycles and can support a not so shabby weight of 80kg (yes 12 ½ stone in old money), should you feel the need to dangle on the end of the cord at the same time as charging your devices. On a more serious note, this makes it is highly unlikely you would break the cable (compared to some) by tripping over it while plugged into a wall socket or device, those would most likely be the ones to take the harder knock.Based on my past week's use I could not recommend this cable highly enough for those who want additional length without compromising on build quality and to truly never have to buy another replacement cable again!

I have now anker solar panels, power battery, USB plug, charging cable •ᵉᵗ.ͨ...and for each item needing or giving chargeSo because of this so nothing gets mixed up I have different colours for different itemsThat's why I paid a £1 more for blue charging cableAs for the cable itself wow does it feelike the ultimate cable. I have been using Anker charging cables for a few years now after the original apple ones kept on breaking at the ends and they get better every time. The price is an absolute bargain especially if you have several apple products because this cable comes with a lifetime warranty. I can say from experience they mean what they say about warranties, they replaced one of mine no questions asked once it started to fray and drop connection (which I must add was a one off as I have had fifteen cables and none of them have ever done it before). This particular cable is very useful as its 6 feet and completely removes the issue of not being able to charge my phone in bed without half leaning out of it,the ends are very heavily reinforced and even though its early days with my use I can tell it isn't going to break any time soon.If you're coming from a different Anker charger then this durable version will be a noticeable upgrade from the previous cables and if you're looking to buy a third party cable from Anker for the first time then I cant recommend them enough, far superior to the ones you get with the phone. After having a look at the other reviews I'd like to address some peoples concerns that it falls out of their device, using it on an iPad air 2 it seems to fit very tightly so I cant say thats been a problem for me at all and also people saying the phone suddenly doesn't support the charger, this is more likely a problem with the phones port than the charger which I had with one of my iPhones. Finally I'd like to reiterate that this charger is fantastic value and with a lifetime warranty so even if it does break over time (which I can say from first impressions doesn't seem likely) then Anker will send you a replacement so its a no brainer, don't waste money on a £2 cable and get this, I'm sure you won't regret it.

Their products are amazingly long lasting. I think I have first seen Anker's durable phone cases (Haven't bought any). Then without knowing that it is the same company, I bought a 5 in 1 USB charger for making a charger for the 3D printed laptop I made. While I was trying to assemble, I short circuited one port and it stopped working. Few days later it started working again. Then I realised Anker installed a short circuit protection to the charger and when I unplug and plug the charger, its fuse resets. Then I was so sick of original Apple cables braking all the time, I bought a powerline 2 for my whole family because it was cheaper and had a lifetime warranty. I also bought a USB-C for my phone. Two of them stopped working for heavy usages, like accidentally compressing the charger between the wall and the sofa. They replaced it for free, very quickly (They were also friendly). Then we bought a robot vacuum cleaner Eufy because of its high power and cheap price, we were about to open the box when we learned that it doesn't have mapping and we said the mapping ones are very expensive, so we decided to go on with Eufy. We are using it for a large house and we have never regretted opening that box. (Also, I loved the friendly cartoons in the box, cat being friend with the robot and baby using it to carry toys.) Now, I wanted to buy a USB hub, and I searched, "USB hub Anker". Why, because I know it would be durable, I know I won't regret. If I ever have a problem, I know there is their friendly customer service. I ordered. Now, my brother needs a phone case. I know where to look.

think this is probably one of the best designed cables I have used, I now use them for all my charging needs. The cable comes with rubberised ends which are easy to grip but still small enough to allow cables to be connected next to each other in a malty charger or usb hub.The cables are very durable, I have never had one fail, except in 2 cases which I will now explain. First I would like to point out that I do not think that either of these breakages were a fault of the cable, but more a design to protect the connected item.1. When a charging iPad was dropped on the connecter the end broke from the rest of the plug. There was enough to pull it out the iPad. The socket on the iPad was not damaged at all,and worked perfectly till today.2. In my car, I had one of these connected in the rear console and it had a heavy item dropped on it. the connecter bent but I was still able to remove it without damaging the in-car connecter.Hear I would like to clarify what I mean by designed to brake. In both cases if the connecter didn’t brake I would almost definably have damaged the iPad connecter and the socket in the car which would have cost a lot to replace.A quick comparison to the original apple cable, first they are slightly larger in the connecter, but I have never seen this to be a problem. On a more positive note, I have had to replace many original cables, which have broken in less than 3 months with being used every day. In comparison, the Anker cables have been used for years daily without any sign of problems.

Bought this cable 18 months ago, and it is working great even to this day! The length on this cable can seem a little excessive but once you have it, you'll miss it every time you don't! It works amazing when charging your phone in bed at night as you're not having sit near the plug (we've all been there). Use it at work, at home, and travelling with a power bank, so it's safe to say that I've used it a lot.Edit:I also however take care over the things I buy and was surprised that a cable this well made started to fray. Come Jan 2019, the cable has started to fray at one end (see photos). It's the protective casing that has frayed, but this made the cable temperamental in the way we're all familiar with.I emailed anker direct (as this cable comes with a lifetime guarantee) and they were great. Very supportive and only willing to help you get a new cable as quickly as possible. 3 days later a brand new cable came through the door! Their customer service is at the same level as Amazon's. Yes, their cable's are a little more expensive but it's well worth the money many times over. They're also on Deal of the Day fairly regularly, so keep an eye out if you need one. On the whole do not have any worry on buying this cable, the only thing you should worry about is how many you buy! Thanks Anker!

First impressions of this cable out of the box is that it is very well built and noticeably thicker than the official Apple lightning cables. This is due to the extent Anker have gone to, to make this cable “Bulletproof” in their words. It certainly feels a lot more sturdy than any cable I have owned previously and hopefully that will be the case as I tend to go through Apple`s official cables several times a year with them either coming away from the connector end or the cable just failing to charge any longer.According to Anker if you purchase their matching power plug this coupled with this cable will charge you I-Device faster than any other cable.I have yet to try this and will be ordering there plug to put this to the test. The cable being MFi certified was another reason I picked this product up, this should give you piece of mind that it will work with your apple products without the “Incompatible” message flashing up on your device or the chance of the cable bursting in to flames like some of the cheap Chinese Knock off cables. All in all this is a well-built and well-priced product and I was going to say an alternative to the Official cable, however In future I’ll be sure to pick this up for any Apple device I buy as opposed to using Apples own cable.

I was quite eager to try out Anker's new Powerline II Dura Lightning Cable having had several of their previous cables. I have them all over the place including home, work, car, work bag, in the kids play area and they all get used frequently. My wife wanted a longer cable so i opted for the 6ft version :-).The package arrived in the usual blue and white packaging and was perfect as expected. The cable is noticeably thicker and stronger than previous versions which is great and should last forever ;-) and the molding around the connectors is firm and solid which is what you want.Nobody is going to hang a bunch of weights off their cable or try and hang from a bar using their cable but everyonewill use their cable while plugged into their device and resting on the belly lol which is where the real wear and tear occurs so i guess time will tell.Having said all of that, Anker are offering a lifetime warranty so this should be the last cable you ever buy again and if that doesn't make you want to buy one, you are one crazy chump ;-)Check out the new Anker Powerline II next to the standard cable you get with your device. We've all got a cable that looks like this after just a few weeks. Anker have just solved our problems :-)

Having previously bought very cheap USB-Lightning cables off Amazon (£2-3), I have always regarded them as disposable and usually they have lasted ~12 months before the junction between the wire and the connector gives way or the contacts on the lightning no longer connect. When on browsing I saw the Anker product Down below the £10 mark, I decided to buy one and now have several (two iPads, 2iPhones, two houses and two cars). I started with 6' nylon braided which certainly looked and felt as though they would be longer lasting but one realises the feel of the cable tells you nothing about the resistance of the junction to fatigue and failure. Nevertheless since then I have added Powerline+ And now have added a Poweline II Dura cable. If they last > 3 years I will be ahead of the game and the original nylon braided is about two years old and is fine and has no signs of aging. I suppose because they are rarely transferred now, the wear is less and I am less likely to stuff a 6' connector in my pocket than one of the old short ones if I think I may need to recharge my phone whilst away working at different offices. Nevertheless I do think the quality is there and when shopping for other peripherals tend to search Anker first.

Ok, so let me start by saying that this is going to be a bit of a boring review as I am going to echo what everyone else has said. I purchased my Anker cable which worked perfectly until several months later the rubber cable came away from the plastic tipped lightening adapter end.Although it stilled charged, clearly this was a concern so I dully contacted Anker via email; sending them a photo of the issue and my invoice and they promptly responded; apologising and explaining that they would send out a replacement. My replacement was received about 3 days later!Essentially yes, Anker products do fail eventually but their customer service is second to none (reminiscent of Apple before the money hungry days).I’m not sure how Anker’s business model works financially, but in terms of branding they’re ticking all the right boxes. They are my go to brand for chargers (everyone in my household uses them) and I have, and will continue to recommend them to family and friends.I wouldn’t hesitate to buy an Anker product again based on my interactions with the company.

Lets be real, the standard iPhone connector is whack. They break easy. They a bit thin, they never long enough. These are longer, sturdier and most importantly the lifetime warranty is a guarantee as long as you've got your invoice and all that good stuff. The customer service department are wonderfully helpful.I've had 3 of these cables now. The first one broke because I accidentally crushed the top and loosed the connector, so anker replaced it free of charge. The second one just got worn out over a lot of use and stress. The Apple equivalent would have gone missing or died before the anker one did that much I'd guarantee. And even then, it had only developed a slight bit of exposed outer shielding, but I thought better safe than sorry I'd ask for a replacement.Once again the customer service folk replaced it and were delightful and helpful at every step. Especially considering there's a literal pandemic going on, so you know.Let's not pretend they are without a doubt indestructible. But for the price and lifetime guarantee it's worth it easily.

As usual from Anker the cable came neatly boxed and looked smart. Initial impressions of the cable felt like it is quite sturdy and could easily withstand the abuse of being used multiple times a day everyday. For something that looks so strong and rigid the cable is pleasantly flexible and feels much more impressive than the cables that came with the iPhone. I am hoping that it last much longer, although the cable has a lifetime warranty so I can’t imagine this being a problem! I wanted to take a picture of one next to this cable to show the difference but I don’t think we even have any in our house that are still in once piece. The fact that the cable is 6ft makes life a lot easier too,no more worrying about if the plug is close enough.I have plenty of the cables that Anker have produced, and although this one may not look as nice as the PowerLine+ or the nylon braided one but this just feels very much stronger.Overall very impressed with this cable from Anker, and as a bonus it fits in my Lifeproof Fre for iPhone 7 Plus case.

When it comes to Apple I am usually reluctant to use 3rd party accessories because I was sold on Apple's marketing that their products are a lot more superior and work with their products a lot better. I decided to buy a spare lightning cable but didn't fancy paying £20 for what essentially would have been just a charging cable.I looked online and settled on this one because it's made by Anker a company I have bought a lot of other good affordable product from and scored this cable scored high reviews. I'm happy I did because it worked just fine, charging my phone as normal and worked perfectly connecting/syncing files from my iPhone to my computer.I found the 1.8m to be a very good length, the cable itself is very strong, flexible, and durable. It has a very good build quality that makes it robust and will allow it to last a long time. This cable is great if you don't want to pay the "Apple tax". It is definitely good value for money and a very good alternative to the official Apple lightning cable. Hope this helps.

Bought 2 x 6ft Anker cables to replace another Anker lightning cable I had that would not charge my iPhone anymore. Slightly more expensive but the lifetime guarantee has made the cost well worth it. After 16 months one of the cables rubber split and started to fray near to the lightning connector. I contacted Anker and after sending details of the problem and a couple of photos they replaced the cable!! Didn’t even need to send the old one back.As well as the Lifetime Guarantee the key benefits to the cable are the length: 6ftenables me to still use the phone without restriction when it’s plugged in. It is also pretty flexible.I have also never had any issues with the cable not charging the iPhone 6s Plus.Although I have given 5 stars I would give the Anker Powerline II 4.5 stars out of 5. I can see that the cable may well split again at the end as this seems to be less flexible than the rest of the length. At least I can send back for another replacement. If Anker solves this then it would be the perfect cable!!
