Despite their slightly dodgy name (if, like me, your mind is that way inclined) Anker is now my go-to brand for pretty much everything I need that they make.I'm very impressed with the quality of everything I've bought from Anker up to this point, starting with a portable battery to charge my iPhone and a 4x USB mains plug. It's always quality, with beautiful Apple-rivalling design, from the packaging to the product itself.This 2m red braided cable seems very sturdy so far. The braided nature makes it a little stiff compared to standard unbraided cables, but that's what you get if you want something a bit more durable. I bought this but decided it wasn't quite long enough for what I needed,

So I bought this because I have been lugging around "pound store" cables when traveling. These worked some of the time but quite often I had the dreaded "accessory not supported". Anybody who knows Apple cables knows they are not designed to be moved about as they break. I need something better.I went super over the top with these and I'm really glad I did. The two I bought are a little rigid (and a bit long to use in the car) but I have absolutely no doubts I'll be changing my phone before I replace these cables. The cable is nylon reinforced and each end has the red plastic cap to help protect against bending. These should last for ages.As an added bonus,

These cables in my opinion are extremely handy to have around, not because they keep breaking (because they don't) but because I find that I now have one for the car, one in office, one for travelling with external battery pack, one in living room .... you can see where I'm going with this.For me I use this in bedroom as the cable makes charging phone while using the phone a lot easier and I'm not having to hang off the bed with the standard 3ft cable.As far as value for money you may be able to get cheaper ones elsewhere you will find that you will be replacing those more often. I have went down that route before and after a while if they cable hadn't broken,

I love these charger cables. They save you so much money in the long run!!My friend always turns their nose up at me because of the price but really it isn't even expensive! The same friend goes on about there ebay bargain charger for 99p. Not even a month later they have to get a new one cause the wires are all out. I have never had this problem with Anker cables.I use my phone whilst it is on charge all the time (yeah i know, its really bad) But the cable is bent and its never caused it to show the wires or stop it from working correctly.The only reason I bought a new one is because i got a new phone which as USB C instead of Micro USB.

Despite Apple being a big brand and making lots of money, their charger cables are pretty poor. They always snap near the plugs where they bent most. The rubber around the wires rubs of and frays revealing bare cables.So, these Anker charger cables looked better than the standard Apple ones and ordered several to keep my children happy. They came in a nice box and once taken out it was clear these felt better than any cable we've had before. It is early days to say how long they'll last but the tapered sockets seem like the will resist bending better than the more square sockets.Pleased with these and I like the fresh colour!

The cables are much better than standard Apple ones, they are much harder wearing. However they are not bullet proof (I should say children proof) my kids have still managed to kill one somehow, the two times this has happened over the last few years I have contacted Anker support and they have always replaced it. Out of 15 or so of these I have had for various reasons (work and home) I have had about 3 fail over the least few years. Original Apple ones always fail the same way (at the lightening connector end, the shielding always comes away resulting in a failure). These don't do that. Good product Great customer service.

I have been an Anker customer for a while now as I believe their products are of a high standard, much better than that of the included accessories with Apple devices. The cable I bought was working well after purchase, it is great because of its length and ability to be folded for transportation. However, for the first time since I started to use their accessories, it began to not charge effectively. I contacted customer services and immediately was offered a replacement, free of charge, this came in the post within 2 days. I would still thoroughly recommend Anker and continue to purchase their products in the future.

I really love this cable. It is very durable, fully compatible with any Lightning device thanks to its made for Apple certification and it is also very flexible.I think that overall this cable is even better than its big brother Powerline + II. The newer version has many interesting improvements like connectors made of one solid piece of alluminium but on other features they have done a step back. Anker made the last version extremely robust and this made the cable less flexible than how I would like it to be.The Powerline + is the sweet spot within the Anker cable range.

I bought this in September, and by December it stopped working. I am very disappointed in the lifespan of this cable, considering I have owned cheap generic cables for longer periods of time. Will not be buying again. The only plus side to this product is the length, which you can get with other brands.UPDATE:I was contacted by customer support, who were very helpful and offered a free replacement cable. Although this took about 6 weeks to arrive (it got lost in transit the first time) the cable works well and the customer service was very helpful

I'm very happy with this cable, it seems durable. Unlike others here, I've used it more than 2 times a day for a week and a half and it's perfectly fine. I also don't experience a loose fitting port, as I saw one review saying, as you can see (from the photos attached) I can hang my phone from it without any worry (I don't recommend doing this). I have noticed there's a slight difference in colour to the 6ft Micro-usb cable I have by Anker, but it doesn't bother me.Update: It's now 3 weeks of use and it works just as it did out the box.

I have been buying Anker cables for a while now as I find them to be of very high quality and at a reasonable price (the opposite of Apple’s own cables!).For the first time ever, one of my cables stopped working, and my iPhone started giving messages along the lines of “charging not supported on this accessory”.Although that was disappointing, I raised an Anker support request (the cables have an 18-month warranty) and without asking any questions, Anker sent a new one right away. Definitely a pleasant and 5-star customer experience.

I’ve got a few of these, they tend to be the by the bedside bedroom lead that everyone uses to charge over night. Mostly they’ve been fantastic but one show signs of fray and wear near the connector after one year. No trouble for customer service! A new one was promptly dispatched after submit the details and phots of the faulty lead - which I was asked to bin. Hey presto new lead! Long lead good quality - happy customer. I would definitely recommend this lead. Quality product and service to match.

This is truly an iPad/Apple compatible cable. It is also the third cable I’ve purchased (I’m gradually replacing all Apple cables with Anker cables). The cable is robust while being flexible, though not as soft as original Apple cable whose flexibility caused it to break at the connector after a year of use. The different colours allow ownership to be allocated to different equipment: iPad iPhone etc., Overall I’m very pleased with Anker products and when the need arises I’ll purchase more items.

Anker is becoming my go-to brand for this kind of thing. Their stuff is good quality and dependable. I wanted a longer lightning cable for my iPad Pro so can use it on a table. Being bright red (other colours are available) I can see at a glance it's the long one and I'm less likely to trip over it. The braided cloth gives it a quality feel. Needless to say it charges and connects perfectly. It even comes with a little velcro strap to keep it neatly wrapped when you're not using it.

I have tried a lot of cables for iPhones over the years but I can tell you that I will never buy another brand now that I have found Anker cables !They are made extremely well, various lengths and they even appear to charge the phone faster than a regular apple cable !There’s not much to say other than amazing value and amazing quality !I should add that I have been using one of these cables for over a year and have bought several to simply keep in various locations !Great !!
